I did not think that oak would be that easy to bend. I’m gonna try that.
I really need a spindle sander, that top is a great idea.
Handy jigs. Thanks
You get a high 5 for the spindle sander top , so cool ! I've searched YT looking for an idea on hold downs for the miter saw and nothing I liked till now ! Ty!
I never thought of using T-slot clamps on the miter saw. Good idea.
Wonderful ideas! Thanks!
Definitely interested in making the jigsaw jig. 👍
Bending that oak was cool.
Pretty cool! Well done! Thank you very much! 👍😃
Just got a Dewalt 20v jigsaw...love the straight edge guide build! Doing that now! Thanks for your good timing!
Great ideas, Billy. You could use matchfit dovetail clamps on that miter saw fence, too.
Bill
Very good point. I wasn't even thinking about that and I should have!
I really appreciate your videos. You are funny and keep it understandable.
Great tips
Really excellent jigs, Billy! Thanks a bunch! 😃
I'm definitely going to make the last one!
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I was such a fantastic quality cut!
Awesome tips and tricks :)
I’d like to see the sander built into the top of a mitre station flush so you don’t lose sanding capacity. I have the exact same one and it does a great job but I wish I had the one with dual sanding options
Really like the spindle sander top idea.
As for the table saw fence micro adjuster, I can not emphasize enough the replacing of any table saw fence with an Incra Table Saw/Router Table fences. They just work!! I replaced my Powermatic 66 with and aftermarket fence and then finally went the Incra route. They make perfect repeatable cuts every time no matter how many times you move the fence or how many years have past. Same with the router table fence. No more tappin' on the fence to get it to move "just a little". And then saying. "OH $#!T!" They are worth every penny I spent!
NO, I have nothing to do with Incra and promotion of their products.
Love the vids. Keep 'um comin'. JimE
The Incra is really nice, but rather expensive. I looked at the system and would have loved to get one, but bought a Delta fence for my saw. The Incra would also have been in the way of my router table, as it is an extension of my table saw (the Delta also works as a router fence support/backer).
I made a home-brew micro-adjuster for my Delta fence. It clamps to the rail and uses a pair of neodymium magnets with a standard Rockler micro adjuster for a router table. Easy to add and remove or place on either side of the fence when needed. Works like a charm and total cost was
Love this channel, been a fan for a while. You're always great with new ideas. A straight line jig for a jig saw is a new idea to me... Why use a jigsaw for a straight cut?
These are awesome! Thank you for sharing, you make things look very easy.
Random novice question. When counter-sinking screws, why did you drill the half deep big hole before the small through hole? Does it matter which one you drill first?
Plexi can melt a bit when drilling. If the smaller hole was drilled first it would get plugged when making the bigger stopped hole.
I was about to make your 45 degree miter sled, but notice in a lot of your recent videos you use the incra miter guage for 45 and 90s. Do you prefer the incra over your 45 degree sled? Thanks
So far I do. I like the ability to quickly cut various angles.
Those bolts are called "T" bolts.
Yep, just spaced it when I was talking.
