For anyone that's frantically checking their nails for something similar. It's normal, so long as the line doesn't follow up onto the skin. Trauma and diet can cause those lines, too and when it is cancer, the lines are usually dark brown and thick.

My uncle was a radiologist. I didn't know until recently that he got cancer from all the radiation exposure. He served in vitamin airforce as a doctor before going into civil doctoring. It just never occurred to me that it was the radiation that gave him cancer and ultimately claimed his life. He was diagnosed shortly before full retirement and passed within 4-6 months after being diagnosed.
Yup. Well one of my teachers had this. A lady at a floral shop was talking about it, then I noticed it kn my teachers. She said she will look into it. We’re taught this in Aesthetics school when we do manicures and pedicures. Not to diagnosis per se but to help guide people to get the right care. I see clients monthly if not biweekly and have noticed changes before they have sometimes. Deficiencies, nail trauma, mental health symptoms/markers and other health concerns all pop up in your hair, nails and skin so we know whether or not to do a service or change up what service we do.
This is the 3rd video Iʼve seen where viewers noticed a serious health concern! Amazing people, aka-angels, out there! So glad you found out & praying you are well!!
I recently saw another post where the guy's fingernails were a bluish purple and people were urging him to get checked for heart problems. It was pretty cool that so many people were concerned.
I am the one that posted earlier about blood cancer meds caused multiple fingernails with black lines. I do have one fingernail purplish. I recently had a heart failure marker high for heart failure. Guess I will watch to see if gets more purplish nails
I just had my toe nail removed because of possibly having cancer...i had a black streak almost like this one...i haven't gotten the results yet...hopefully everything is OK 😊❤
I hope everything comes out okay. I remember I had a black growth on my skin and I was so afraid because I thought it was cancer, thank god it was just Atypical Cells/Abnormal Cells aka Stage 0. They removed them before they could turn into something bad. Thank God I got rid of them in time. I hope your Biopsy comes out okay. I remember waiting for the call to come back and crying and being sad. I was so damn scared for them to say something bad on the phone for the results or they would tell me to come in. Call it over dramatic but I felt like I was going to die or that Cancer was coming for me like some monster waiting to kill me. I had all those fears but the whole time I should’ve known that we create our own fears for nothing. We have amazing doctors, we have technology on our side now and medicine is futuristically ahead of it’s time right now. You’ll be okay. I got the call back and everything was fine just like your call will be. If you can learn something from this, don’t self diagnose, don’t search of stuff in google, don’t let your anxiety go through the roof and have some faith. I promise you things aren’t that bad. They’ll take care of you and you’ll be fine. Also another lesson from this is please for the love of God wear sunscreen and make sure it’s an SPF of 100. Protect your skin because all those sunburns I had as a kid, a teen and then as a young adult added up over time and came back to almost bite me in the ass. Melanoma is no joke and is a real issue that many are facing from not protecting themselves from the sun. Getting some sun is healthy but getting too much of it is dangerous, especially in the summer.
Your skin peels like that from biting your nails too, I have a tendency to do that as a coping mechanism for my anxiety, and it hurts. Not on topic but weird fact none the less.
I have seen where people have pointed out significant signs of serious illness just from videos and photos. It warms my heart that those people could have saved someone.
I’m so glad for the truth tellers! They help you catch something that you otherwise probably wouldn’t have caught. As far as coincidences go there is no such thing as a coincidence.

Had a mole right underneath the center of my lip that kept growing. Dark center, a short hair growing from it, affected my woodwind playing. Mom forced me to get it removed, where they iced it up and put in four stitches, sent it to a lab. A couple weeks later? They removed three stitches, and it wasn't cancerous. I asked them about the fourth stitch; they told me I was crazy because I was put under for the procedure as it said in my records. A week later my lip was infected, and I pulled the missing stitch out myself in the bathroom. My scar is ginormous and noticeable, even over 18 years later. The icing on top? It’s always a thrill to see anything about C-arms. I invented and made a laser targeting device for Philips C-arms a few years ago. The users loved it because it gave them a single red dot, exactly in the center of the field, and there was no artifact in the image. Unfortunately, my health WAS affected by cancer and I had to close up shop. Thanks for the post!

For anyone that's frantically checking their nails for something similar. It's normal, so long as the line doesn't follow up onto the skin. Trauma and diet can cause those lines, too and when it is cancer, the lines are usually dark brown and thick.
This is the correct answer. Still the lesson here, for me atleast is, when in doubt get it checked. I haven't been to a doctor in decades. Figured this is a good a reason as any, and I could use a bloodwork checkup. Could find deficiencies.

Whoever pays you doesn't love you half as much as these random people

My mom worked at that clinic and her superiors were the ones calling me crazy,. Didn't stop any of them from treating me like a guinea pig or questioning who was writing incorrect info in our small town medical records smh.
