I signed bond(its not a stamp paper )for one year on the offer letter/appointment letter stating if i did not serve notice period for two months and if i leave or abscond with in 1 year the company, am liable to pay the salary amount for remaining times as per bond. You can quit when ever u wish to, the only thing is u won't be getting your relieving letter, as tat would be under the control of the company.as u hav signed a bond they won't allow u to serve notice period before the completion of term, so the only option is to abscond

Now he left the company, he did all the KT and also served notice, he also have the email of release. He’s been released now, Now they are putting 1.5lacs on his fnf and saying if not paid, they will not release the experience letter and relieving letter. Sir...I was recently selected as a JUNIOR ASSISTANT in the District court of Andhrapradesh...through direct recruitment...bt now...the court staff took my ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS and made me to sign a bond of 5 lakhs...for 2 years....( they did not mention all these in Notification) ...they are saying that they won't give my certificates in this 2 years...or else I have to pay 5 lakhs...!!!! Govt. Ka system alag hota hai, ye sab pvt ke liye hai, so if you are into govt.field then be cautious
For example: koi govt college se medical Kiya ho scholarship basis pe ya fir bohot Kam paisa laga ho fir his or her good academic then after completing you have to serve as a govt. Doctor, aur agar pvt me gaye to Dena padta hai penalty
Just like that it is applicable for all govt. Related jobs and training, pvt me employees ko exploit Kiya jata hai bond ke nam pe, is liye illegal hai

If employer will file bond breaking case against employee, then is it legal that bond amount with interest and all legal expenses will be recoverable from employee .

@samthelawyer I joined company on 1st November 2022 with 2 years of bond on stamp paper (5 Lakh bond breaching amount). For first 6 month I was trainee with stipend. As per offer letter If I onborded on preject then I will become full time employee (5 LPA). On 2nd May 2023 I was onboarded on project. But when I asked about full time employement they are not ready to give full payment. They are giving some silly reasons like in IT industry no client pays for first 3 months. So I resigned 27 May 2023. Now, Today they have send legal notice through Advocate to pay 5 Lakh rupees. What should I do? They have not given Last month salary also. PF account personal account hota hai employee ka, aap chaho to naye company ke pass Naya pF account ban sakta hai ya fir aap purana account ko bhi carry on kar sakte ho,

In the month of October I joined the company as a fresher for 17 months bond and I submitted my original marksheet, 1 Lakh if I resign in bw time period but I want my marksheet back, So is there any way to get back my marksheet because I have to apply for eligibility certificate in my university. And they are asking for a cheque or another marksheet and literally I don't want to work in this company because of their work environment, Many freshers who joined with me have already resigned without taking their marksheet. Please help me in this situation.
Don't let them know that you gonna leave the company, just tell them that ull return the doc after verification and if they don't then send them a legal notice with this concern

@@successquotes2524 mostly companies don't ask for black cheques from employees but as you have already provided with one then try to get it back from them swiftly or else notify your bank that you have lost a cheque leaf and to make stop payment on that cheque no.

I had recently joined a company as an intern for 6 months with 2 years clause, I want to leave the company before my internship period as i am not interested in doing that work anymore but my company is saying that they will take legal action and i need to pay certain amount if i resign. I had signed this agreement during the start of my internship. The agreement is on company letterhead paper, and there is only signature of me. there is no signature from the employer side. It is not stamped or notarized. Can you help me with this should i be worried?

Hi Sir,
I joined a company in September 2021 having bond of 1lac for 2 years.
I got online training for 1 month.
After training I was in bench for 8 month, and then i resigned .
They accepted resignation and demanded bond amount for full n final settlement.
Now it has been almost 1 year After resignation, they sent me mail for payment of bond amount within 15 days, otherwise they'll send legal notice and will charge 18% interest on bond amount.
So kindly suggest me what I should to do?

Bond is not transferable, it is a bond between employee and employer

@@samthelawyer If a company mention a particular amount say Rs. 5 lakh and asking employee to sign it and also asking one more person who is known to employee to sign that one who will act as indemnifier and in the presence of two witness by getting it stamped and attested then what does it means , and is it okay to sign such bond ?
See in our country bonded labour is illegal but still then companies do so in order to create a fear in the employees and to retain them, but if it's a pvt ltd then nothing to worry, but in case of govt.jobs that one achieves with merit or scholarship like in some govt medical colleges they have a rule that after becoming a doctor u have to serve as a govt docter for some period or else u have to pay, tats a different matter altogether

the amount of 5 lakh is mentioned directly and it is mentioned that if employee do anything which is against company or causes any damage to the goods or property then it will be applicable !

They made me sign 2 years bond and nda in an online form which wasn't a stamp paper. After it i got a better offer from my own city. I haven't given any documents to them and also i didn't sign any check. What if i block their numbers and never attend the office and join the company of my own city. Will they be able to take any action against me.
