    Thank you for posting this! I have an adjustable kettlebell (15 to 40#) and a lot of video tutorials are too fast paced or difficult for me. This I think I can do. Question though, how often should a person do this routine if they are already doing other forms of strength training?

    • @Madmarsha

    I like this video and the idea of using a kettle bell. What weight are you using and what weight to you suggest we use?

    • @EricDaw1
      @EricDaw1  Před 2 lety +4

      15lb and I would use a weight that is a challenge for 8-12 reps

  • @WINDnotOILdotCom
    @WINDnotOILdotCom Před 2 lety +3

    Question: Do you suggest the same kettlebell for this whole routine, or vary the weigh based on our ability for each individual exercise? Lighter weight for some, heavier weight for others, as tolerated for the # of reps. Thnx.

    • @EricDaw1
      @EricDaw1  Před 2 lety +2

      Both! If you have more than one kettlebell i would vary based on the exercise

  • @andrewbell8837

    That kettle bell looks quite large like 50lbs but appears very light in your hands?? Love kettle bell swings, also 2 handed. Good work.

    • @EricDaw1
      @EricDaw1  Před 2 lety +2

      Its actually only 15 lbs but yes it was large Lol

      Thanks. I swing 35lbs, I don’t have a 45/50 which is probably a good thing for a skinny 77 year old. LOL

    Omg!! Falling upon your channel (the only falling I will do) was not a coincidence. Eric, this is perfect. I am absolutely interested in more exercise content, you have a subscriber here!!
    Your presentation is excellent, pacing, clear, direct and thank goodness, no visual or sound distraction (like kids, animals or other nonsense.) The soft music in the background just fades away and my focus was on you.
    I can't wait to start! You firmly have a follower here, count me in!!!
    Quick question, what weight kettlebell are you using. I don't have one, what should I look for when I purchase one?
    Otherwise, THANK YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN! 👍🏾🏋🏾‍♀🙂
    All the best, stay safe and healthy!!!

    • @EricDaw1
      @EricDaw1  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks for watching. When getting a kettle bell look for something that will give you an adequate challenge for anywhere between 10-20 reps

    What is the advantage of the one hand kettlebell swing compared to the two hand kettlebell swing ?

    • @EricDaw1
      @EricDaw1  Před 2 lety +4

      It's always good to do exercises bilaterally as opposed to always unilaterally. It highlights imbalances

  • @Stephanie-rf9xs

    Great video, question for your Mr. Daw: is it okay for me to wrap the kettle bell handle with a strip of rubber grip(think of gripping mat under an area rug)? I could see myself hurdling that kettle ball across the room because it slid out of my hand while using it. Thanks for your weekly videos as I get so much out of them!

    • @andrewbell8837
      @andrewbell8837 Před 2 lety +1

      I use kettle bells and would suggest no don’t wrap. IMO Often while using you want it to rotate in your hand/hands.
