He is a better part of the bible but still not perfect as he is just a fallible human. Being a cherry picker is only following the teachings of Christ and ignoring the genocide and suffering god inflicted to get to that point. God having the audacity to say "I'm sending myself as my son to suffer persecution by humanity for events I caused and made and could easily take away but I don't" is disgusting. honestly thats one of the hardest things for people in the lgbtq community, and that is, to love yourself. when you're surrounded by so much hate you can fight but i gaurantee you at some point you're gonna cave in and need help. i struggled for years to tell my mom I was a lesbian, because shes always wanted me to have kids and get a boyfriend, i felt like because i liked girls that i could never appease my mother and that i was a mistake. im glad she accepts me and honestly it warms my heart that many straight christains arent hateful and it doesnt have to be that way. my best example is my therapist who let me talk about women (not sensually, just saying my type and joking about it) on the entire carride back to my house after we got starbucks, it was great.

You can't take my gun but I will do everything in my power to rid abortion because it kills innocent people, which a gun can do as well but we will not mention that because it does not fit the dialogue in which they are trying to prove, 3. Socialism is bad and we will rally against it and who ever supports it is a communist, because not to mention the VA HealthCare, the Road System, Public Education, and many other public goods are also funded via the uses of tax payer dollars, redistributed to the betterment of the welfare of all Americans [this does not mean I support a full scale socialist operated country, just a heads up if you plan to contradict me via the "who's gonna pay for it, so unfair" etc etc]. These are just many upon many examples that I have had encounters with in terms of my Conservative network.
      Now, I personally am not a Trump supporter for various reasons, but I do not disagree with all or any of his policies just becayse of the Trump name brand. An attitude I saw a lot among pro and anti trump supporters when he came out with TrumpCare. Even though it was shown it would have been worse than ObamaCare, many supporters got behind it because trump did it and now makes it better and vice versa. Just one such dialogue.

      Agreed because of the fact that in today’s society, a Christian (non-denominational) typically is more loving and accepting of others and liberal in this sense. However, in the Bible it clearly states we are out here to teach others and inspire others and spread the word of the gospel. Not to make everyone get along. But to stand up for what is right and to fight against what is wrong. There’s not a lot of grey area in the Bible, however our society tends to translate Gods word with a more passive tone in my opinion. But I was genuinely humbled by that man as well, I think we all know he has a great heart, no matter how closely he follows scripture.

Animals such as penguins, dogs, elephants, giraffes, goats, foxes, pandas, etc. have all been observed to display homosexual behavior. There are plenty more which I could gladly show you with proof if you’d like. All species from mammals to birds and even to fish can be homosexual which proves that it is in fact normal. Also I’d like to add that earth is overpopulated, it’s to a point where some people in certain countries are going without food because they have no access to it on a regular basis. That dude would be wrong though.. Jesus said that if you even look at a woman lustfully, you already committed adultery in your heart. Therefore, you've sinned. That applies to any gender/sex.
      He was basically expressing how high God's standard is, when it comes to what He considers to be sin. It makes you realize that it's impossible for any of us to be sinless. Therefore, we can't be saved through our own works or by being sinless, because it's impossible for any human to be sinless. Therefore we need an atonement that will take our sins from us, so that we may be accepted into a place as perfect as heaven, a place where no sin is allowed to exist.
      Changing your mind from sin, and accepting Jesus as your Messiah is what atones and washes you from your sins, allowing you to be accepted into heaven as a perfect being without sin. Jesus was sinless, which proves that He's not just an ordinary man. The Bible says the punishment of sin is death. So since He didn't commit any sin, He didn't deserve death. He had to be sinless, not only to prove that He's no ordinary man, but also so that He could be a worthy enough sacrifice to pay for the sins of all who believe in Him.
      It isn't religion.. It's a relationship with the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ.

But if I’m going to expect people to respect my beliefs, then I need to respect theirs. So if someone prefers a certain pronoun, I will respect that. • @mycoffee2654
      @mycoffee2654 Pƙed 4 lety +75

      @Janey The Bible acknowledges different kinds of love. The Bible was originally written in several different languages, which have different words that all translate to "love" in English. God loves everyone in the sense that He desires the good for all His creation and He will sacrifice for them and that he cares for them. It's a pure, platonic, and gentle love and it's called agape. The Bible isn't talking about sexual love in that context. The Bible teaches that sexual love is intended for marriage and just like cars are a good thing until we use them in ways they weren't intended for (i.e. hitting a pedestrian), sexual love is also good until we use it in a way it wasn't intended. As Christians believe that God was the one to create sexual love, He also decides what the intended purpose is. That's how we can be for love and also disagree with homosexuality. That doesn't mean that God calls us to be hateful. We are called to love the sinner and hate the sin. It does, however, call us not to pretend that it's good.

    • @catlover8360
      @catlover8360 Pƙed 4 lety +35

      @Janey That's rather defensive to be honest. She never even mentioned hell in her comment to you (unless there's a deleted comment im not seeing, if there is, i truly stand corrected). There can honestly never be any agreement between a member of the LGBT+ community and a true bible believing Christian, because you''ll always be on coming from different ideological stand points. That being said, hate (and not in the way we tend to use it today, as in someone disagreeing with an opinion) is absolutely not of God. No one has the right to insult you, most especially if they say they're Christian, because that is not God's way, all speaking and interaction should be done in love. However, love, we forget is not just roses and all as the world puts it. If you're Christian you know that love is patient, kind, not jealous, boastful, or proud. Does not delight in or think of evil, is not easily provoked, does not seek its own, rejoices in the truth, bears, believes, hopes and endures all things and never fails. That being said, someone who is truly acting out of love will never tell you that that lifestyle is appropriate, not to demean you but to bring to your attention the reality of sin. Especially sexual sin, which ins't just confined to the LGBTQ+ lifestyle but traverses all others that you can think of, including fornication.That is definitely not an easy message to receive (most especially if you have no regard for Christianity) and that is very understandable. But someone who truly loves you and is acting out of Godly love, you may find their disagreement hateful, but they truly care about your eternal well being (even if you may think its not important).

      I am a bibble believing christian and here's my take....
      God loves every person on earth cause they are his children..he created them....So he love every lgbtq person (as should christians)
      BUT God has warned in the bible , that such an action is wrong and a sin...So although christians such as myself do not agree with the LGBTQ communities practices and ideas,,,we love them as god loved us (even though we were sinners and hope that they find GOD.

    I am christian. But I am not homophobic, I respect everyone, everybody, and everything. You can be lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, etc. I still respect you, and will always.

      @Methyl if you are truly Christian then you know that none of those passages refer to homosexuality. Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13 refer to adultery with someone of the same gender, Romans 1:18-32 refers to idolatry and acts engaged in as part of idolatry worship, the sin is idolatry, not homosexuality and 1 Corinthians 6:9 refers to pederasty but that was changed to 'homosexuality' by those that translated The Bible into english. can you guess why they did that?
