While I personally am Jewish, I appreciate the humanism of Satanism, and the idea of a belief system that encompasses human values and self-identity. I'm a satanist, and everyone thinks we're mentally ill, but I hoped that this video told everyone the truth
As an abuse survivor, i have never been preyed on by a Satanist.
You were preyed on by satanist(s). The reason is that those perpetrators carried out satanic acts. It doesn't matter what they call themselves. Why "satanic"? Because "Satan" means "adversary", and hence "satanic" means "adversarial". If someone abuses a child, that's an adversarial, negative, antagonistic, evil, and very much a satanic expression.
@@proxy8918thats not what a satanist is please dont misconstrue words to mean whatever you want them too its weird. We need to remove the idea that "satan" is the only thing that causes people to be cruel and evil. There are a lot of factors at play and blaming it on Satan all the time gives people the opportunity to remove the guilt, social consequences, and responsibility of the person who committed the act. "It wasnt me i was guided by the devil" is a much too common excuse and we need to deconstruct that the idea of "satan" is the only root.
@@eatsyougore Satan is a fundamental archetype of the idea of evil itself. I am not misconstruing its meaning, and I never alluded to the idea that one should blame things "on the devil" as an external concept. @@WillOrSomething Sure, but believing you have psychic powers is fundamentally a belief in something supernatural. Every single person on this earth is a hypocrite and inconsistent in their worldview I'm pretty sure, and Richard being someone who both takes part in a movement that prides itself on questioning everything you think you know and not believing in anything blindly is also someone who seems to have a faith of sorts in his own ability as a medium, well... that’s the worst type of logic i’ve ever seen, God loves everyone, even non believers or people who don’t choose him, he just can’t force them to love him back or believe in him, also since God is all good he owns & created everything that’s good, if you choose something else that isn’t God then it’s your fault that you won’t receive anything good and will receive eternal damnation

Richard is somebody I would love to be friends with. He's a legend!
Same, but I think he'd find me to be extremely dull and boring for him! 😅
This was a great video. You could not have selected a better panel.
From the perspective of a Christian, who has never known anything about satanism other than that it exists, this interview was something really special for me in the most positive way: I was so baffled when I gradually realized that, according to Anthony’s guests and their seven tenets, Satanists share like 80% of the values that Christianity at its core is actually centered around, like for instance compassion, respect, forgiveness and of course most of all love (including self-love as well as love towards others). I really hope that I don’t offend any Satanist by saying this, but it truly warms my heart knowing that satanism doesn’t align with the stereotypical picture portrayed by mass media but rather shows much more significant parallels to the behavior of someone like Jesus Christ himself. As far as I see it, true Christians and true Satanists may have a switched vocabulary when it comes to naming good and evil, but both parties can have a very healthy mindset and pursue a truly fruitful life.
Read into the Church Of Satan’s rules outlined by founder Anton LaVey. It’ll also open your eyes. We aren’t scary people. We have families we love, friends we care for, even kids. I personally am a dog/animal lover so me and my wife have 6 dogs. I enjoy reggae music and cooking too.
Yup, in fact I would not call it even Satanism but something along the like off "DontBeAnASSsism".
Most PEOPLE can agree to most their believes, and they are usually called "atheists". Wrong too.
They are REASONABLE people, not judging other people or shamelessly messing with other lives when not requested.

@@cclover152 It's basically when someone has an incredibly strong reaction to a sound. So like a certain way someone chews, types, breathes, etc. triggers someone with misophonia.
People with misophonia tend to become irritated, enraged, and even experience anxiety-related symptoms when they hear the sound that triggers them.
Hope that helped

There are certain sounds that when I hear them I get really anxious because she would be really off put or get irritated when I or somebody did them.

When Jex mentioned how the way Christians were acting and how it shows they have "Christian privilege" I've never agreed so fast. Think about how offended they get just bc you don't believe in one thing they do, if that's not privilege idk what is

@@rocknecointin682 I'm speaking on the ones that throw fits and bully people over not having the same belief system as them, sir that's privileged
@@rocknecointin682 privelege is your religion being able to sway laws, go door to door without it being considered harassment to spread your religion, to not get kicked off a plane for your religion on your tshirt, to not be harassed at work for your religion, or, you know, spread across the globe and murder millions in the name of your god like America was very heavily BUILT on and not have it demonized across the globe in the process???

Like christianity gets?
@@rocknecointin682 Christians can wear symbols or clothing showing off their beliefs without being seen as dangerous, I have friends and I’ve seen stories of people like Muslims who have shown off their religion thru symbols or things like clothing for example hijabs and have been harassed for it, Christians can openly have events surrounding their beliefs like going to church without being harassed unlike again Muslims where their place of worship have been vandalized and have had open attacks or threats sent on them. This can even be said about black churches who may also participate in Christianity.
Politicians usually get more votes if they’re Christians and openly share their faith rather than someone who may have a better campaign but follows a different religion, most laws are based off of Christian beliefs
When someone who believes in Christianity commits an act of violence that doesn’t represent their faith but if someone from Islam commits an act of violence everyone who shares a faith with them is automatically seen as a threat
These are some examples of Christian privilege ☺️☺️☺️
totally, in some countries. where I live, it's common to get thrown in jail for being a Christian tho, so we don't have that privilege everywhere :)
Whenever Richard talks the background music gets spooky 😂
It’s weird to me how every satanist defines it differently. But when I say I’m a Christian but don’t go by a specific denomination I’m somehow judged for it by non Christians.
That's... the point... you follow the tenants and you love and listen to yourself then boom you're satanist enough. You don't need to prove yourself neither does everything satanist have to be the same. It is a 'religion ' of self love and freedom.

So many people get the words cult and occult confused, or they simply just don't know what they mean. A cult is a group of people with the same beliefs, practices or cause. For example; a bunch of people that go to the same restaurant every morning can be considered a cult. An Amway convention could be considered a cult. And occult just simply means anything in the spiritual Realm. This is taken from the words origins.
You also have to understand that movie studios all over the world has made satanism look so much worse than what it actually is, because that is the business they're in. The more they shock you the more they make money.

Personal choice matters. Satanism encourage their children to know more about other religions, and they respect their children's religion, no matter which one they choose to believe.

As someone who was raised catholic and currently isn't religious it's kind of interesting to hear about Satanism. Even as a non-religious person now the word "Satanist" makes me uncomfortable and a little scared, that's how I was raised to feel.
