Fr, the best one in a long time
The Christian and the Atheist can coexist peacefully.
The scientist and the flat-earther, not so much…
As Christian’s we are called to judge. He said “do not judge by physical appearance or with hypocrisy but judge with righteous judgement”That’s why he said how you judge you will be judged. He tells us HOW to judge. We are not called to mock or condemn but to call out in love and truth as well as to warn
As long as you judge silently, judge me all you want. I'm not trying to have a debate or be converted. Live in your peace and I'll live in mine.
Is it in love and truth when you use litigation to politically manhandle minority groups who don’t have the numbers to protect themselves?
Trust me, we all judge. Whether you are religious or not it is human nature. But when those judgements often turn into political attacks, stigma, and hate just for the simple fact mankind put words to ancient text… that is not richeous judgement but means to control others who do not share the same beliefs.
💯‼️
But isn’t that ur interpretation and aren’t you NOT supposed to interpret the Bible. Just accept it.
@raquelchavez6461 that's scripture... John 7:24/ 2 Timothy 3:16-17

I think it is very difficult to have a conversation with anyone who is committed to misunderstanding your point. These are very loaded conversations and we are all carrying our experiences with us, and so these conversations are always going to be extremely difficult - but it’s important to lead with empathy and understanding first
Empathy from the Christians, yes. Understanding from the Christians, no.
It’s spiritual warfare. These “ex-Christian’s” don’t recognize that there are literal demons putting thoughts in their head. They don’t have the Holy Spirit to guide them or understand it, but it’s also their choice.
John 7:24 (NIV): "Do not judge by external appearance, but judge righteous judgment." This verse emphasizes judging based on truth and God's standards, not on superficial impressions.

“There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you-who are you to judge your neighbor?”
Don’t think so pal!!
@@gabikassen270 that’s literally not what that means.

Well, he can't explain why homosexuality is wrong. He makes it the case that you can only choose to be gay which is not true. Girl in yellow claim that the only reason ppl are gay is because of trauma or coaxing which isn't always the case.

No one wants to here from a person who probably robbed and murdered people so yea
Johnny is so humble, meek, and knowledgeable. He is a great example of a follower of Christ. You can see God’s love in him. Especially with the non-judgment towards others
this guy is bold , hes aware of the place he has been, his visible firmness comes from Holy Spirit for sure.
He does show the true heart but that is where a lot of Christian’s get it wrong. We are actually supposed to judge and hold each other accountable. I know how he was meaning what he said but I do wish that he would have had a chance to dive in deeper or at least give the explanation of why we are to judge. Most people will get mad that I said that but we are to judge the outward appearance of what a Christian should be doing. We are not to judge someone’s heart which is God’s job. People will say that I’m a judgmental bible thumper when that is not the case. They do not understand what I am saying.
@@The_Scott_Bots The bible says you are not to judge period. You can share the word and help guide them but in the end it's gonna be their choice, you can't force them
Preach!
@@deo1107Absolutely untrue. The Bible doesn't say not to judge. It says not to judge unrighteously. We are absolutely called to judge righteously and speak truth to the world. The Bible says that we will be hated for it, but to use His Word as a sword of truth.
Hearing all the Christians say "this is my interpretation" after all of them sat down for "the Bible isn't open for interpretation" is nuts
Wow, I never caught that! HYPOCRISY AD OMNIA!
That’s just being purposefully obtuse. Whenever they said, “this is my interpretation,” they were referring to things not explicitly stated in the scripture like God’s intentions (which cannot be understood by humans). As for God’s instructions or standards, no one said any of them were up for interpretation.
It’s so frustrating when people are purposefully dishonest in a debate to try and have a “gotcha moment.”

Johnny is so strong and rooted in his faith I love hearing him speak . I also love open conversations like this . We should all be able to sit down and talk with people and listen to each other respectfully we can all be friends and learn from each other
Agreed! Johnny will reach so many with the try love and respect he has for everyone regardless of anything. ❤
Hes not listen to one of his Statements
Who else came here just for Johnny? I was looking forward to him getting a chance to share the gospel, he does it so well and breaks it down to such simple terms and a calm demeanor. But I know he also knows firmly who ever has an ear to hear let them hear.
People often mistaken soulmate only as family members, friends, spouse, teachers/professors/mentors, partners/colleagues, people who you are with for lengthy amount of time. And I am sorry if I sound like I am forcing my opinion on you. But I think soulmate or soulmate-esque people can be someone that you only meet just for a short while that you were meant to come and help or come to help you when in the time of need. Or in those came come together to work just for a short time to help others who are in need
When some of us coming here will have fear of death/afterlife/damnation/or nonexistence after death during our time here. For ourselves or loved ones. These eight had volunteered, let’s meet at this date and time and remind everyone that it’s going to be okay. In the end everything is going to be okay.
I love how Johnny can cite scripture off the top of his head. Goals! This was a great discussion.
@@Eli_Muwahhidhave you?
@@Eli_Muwahhidno one cares
Most atheists can do the same. A lot of us studied a lot because we were frustrated we couldn't find any rationality in scripture. Learning it creates a reciprocal trend where the more we learn the less we believe.
Not trying to debase this, but I think a lot of Christians can cite scripture but can't like...explain it. I'm not a Christian anymore, but there are key passages that were engrained in my brain from childhood that I was told to repeat so many times that I'll never unlearn them. 1 Peter 3:15 and John 3:16 are like the pledge of allegiance... churchfolk all know it and it's not particularly impressive that we can rote memorize and recite it.
@@Eli_Muwahhid bc the bible is longer than the quan so of course its easier to remember.
I would love to see this redone with straight people who are ex Christian. I feel like there’s so much more to discuss than sexuality
Fr
Exactly, the irrelevancy of their statements is ignorant and very annoying.
Well they feel the need to be inclusive which is fine, I also couldn't help at least notice what the non Christians were wearing, a bit strange may I say but besides from that point I really feel like that young woman just hasn't had anyone really talk to her deeply about it because she definitely believes just has a mental roadblock to it
@@Fly_Slo She never took the initiative to actually learn about her religion. Her parents were super religious and made her go to church but she never cared to learn about her religion.
Possibly she stopped reading, at 2 Samuel 24's ending?
May be hard, after that, for some.
Also, she may have wondered, how Satan got his pride? Or, if it was partially, built in?@@wd21
Johnny was so calm
Yea Johnny was on here speaking so calm and I can only imagine the amount of works hes done. I wonder if anyone has found or knows his social

So happy to see Johnny on here after seeing his life story on Soft White Underbelly ❤ he is so soft spoken and articulates his views so clearly! He’s so relatable for me❤
I knew I recognized him from somewhere. Thank you for bringing that up. I have seen the video suggested but never clicked on his story to watch. Definitely watching his video after this now
I looked for this comment! I recognised him too, well said.
I found out about Johnny from his appearance on under the influence podcast ❤ he's the only reason I'm actually watching this
Don’t like how Johnny got interrupted
Was Johnny a Christian when he was on soft underbelly?
Couldn’t be further from a Christian, but I respect Johnny and how genuine his story is.
Couldn't be further from a Christian? Are we talking about the same person? How so?
@@claireashley427i think you misunderstood, this person is saying they themselves aren’t at all a christian, not that johnny isn’t a christian.

I do love these interesting topics. I wish i was part of these topics and giving off my ideas about certain things. Its informative to see each side of these topics
I have a lot of respect for Johnny for taking this seriously and for not laughing at the suggestive jokes others said to lighten the mood
Frr
It’s okay to have some fun and joke especially in conversations like these, helps ease any tension
nah if they make a blasphemous joke then dont laugh@@cs5502
Exactly, the jokes were perverse and uncomfortable
@@elleddianaI thought that was just the Jake guy doing it.
😭 Poor Johnny…you can tell his spirit was grieved!
This was such a civil conversation. This was awesome.
The saddest thing that the ex-Christian’s show me, is that they haven’t studied hard enough the scriptures and on the scriptures enough to help them know enough that would cause them to kneel at the foot of the cross.
The saddest thing you Christians show me is that ya'll are always going to have a Superiority Complex.

@@ethandollarhide7943 stop commenting you are too butthurt.
Jason’s little apology at the end healed something in me as an ex Christian

You Christian now bro?
Art thy Christian now, brethren?
Bro are you Christian again ?!😮
How’s it going, friend
Also, i don’t mean to force anything on anyone, but we have various types of evidence for biblical events, if anyone is interested
Johnny was so calm and patient. When he spoke he made his presence felt. Everything he said made sense. You could definitely tell he knew what he was talking about.
I love this episode I think it's my favorite and as a Catholic I appreciated it the dialogue they all had together
Johnny ❤ You know the word ❤ Keep doing what you're doing, truly a living example of being the hands & feet of Jssus ❤ Love you Brother ❤
