Engines make some mechanical noise. I hear nothing unusual in the recording. Just relax and stop listening so critically. If you think the Suzuki is noisy check out some BMW noise threads...
Cheap mineral oil can be the problem. Try a double ester full synthetic like Motul 300V. Makes for a very smooth running engine and smoother shifting. Also good for 8500 + miles on the street if you're not racing or doing track days.
My 2023 gsx s1000 was fine when I bought it brand new when I went back for the first oil change that’s when I started getting that stupid rattle. They changed my chain tensioner and adjusted valves and when I started bike I had no cold starts. Picked it up rode for one day and boom valves sound super loud brought it back they said valves were a little tight and fixed the cold start sensor. Bang and noise came back AGAIN!!😡😡😡 Now waiting too what Suzuki corporate gonna do AGAIN. THIS IS RIDICULOUS SUZUKI WTF.
All that and I bet the bike runs just fine right lmao. Its normal. No matter what they do. There are people in the 20-30k mile territory and have no issues with the noise of the tensioner.
Got this bike last year, I use Silkolene 15w,50 , never had a rattle, also changed out the Dunlops for Michlen Road 6 ,big improvement there .
Engine sounds mint, to me !😂
That’s just how they sound. 33,000 miles mine does it on cold start.
after changing the oil brand from Ecstar 9000 to Amsoil performance 10W40 the tensioner stopped sounding
Big improvement. Mine makes it, but isn’t as loud as yours was.
I never heard any rattle.
I'm in the UK. It's never happened to me. And besides every Suzuki ever made performance or sports has always sounded like that on a cold start.
Sounds like a Suzuki. There is nothing wrong.😊

Needs a couple more phalanges in the engine, the left hand ones don't sound correct..... Maybe get 3 to be on the safe side.
I don’t hear a rattle ?

I would change from long grain to short grain rice. Japanese inline fours forever.
