As an ex military aviation guy, even if he could fly, the chocks were still on the front wheels of the plane. He wasn't goin anywhere 😂
A few years ago here in Seattle an Alaska Airlines baggage handler at SeaTac stole a plane and took it on a joyride around the Puget Sound area. He didn’t know how to land the plane and he even managed to do a barrel roll, which was impressive for someone who had no flight experience other than video games that had flight simulation. He crashed the plane into a lightly populated island off Puget Sound (Ketron Island). He was going through some mental health issues and a divorce if I recall correctly. It was a sad that he felt he had no choice but to end his life. SeaTac has since added extra security measures when planes are on the ground being worked on by ground crews. The tower did a great job trying to talk him down. His name was Richard Russell aka Sky King.
Once again...the mental health of this country is beyound understanding!!
I knew the cops certainly weren’t prepared for a scenario like this when one yelled out, “why don’t you step outta the car and we’ll talk, Bud!”
