And forcing them to work tirelessly on passage of a law in Florida re grandparents rights. They kept the boys from Danny's family and took the Markel name from the boys. Dan Markel was a fantastic father who would go to his children’s daycare to have lunch or snacks with them daily. He wanted to figure out a way to be able to tuck his children into bed every night worked into the parenting plan. He wouldn’t agree to let his children be moved away from him. Once Grumpy G’ma found out Dan wanted supervised visitation for trash talking G’ma, then G’ma went about fixing Dan in the most vile and unimaginative way. The number of children impacted by this selfish woman is truly heartbreaking.

You sound like a thoroughly decent father - good on you! As your 2 year old grows up and realises just how much their dad did to be an active part in their life, they will realise how loved they are, and that is a true gift. You don't have to like your child's mother, but you do have to be respectful - because your child is watching and learning how to resolve disputes and how to treat people from their parents. Your actions affect their future.
I wish you lots of luck and many happy times with your child moving forward 👍

I 💯 am convinced it was grumpy g'ma's idea to have DM killed when custody plans went down the drain, and then she put it in motion when DM requested she only get SUPERVISED visits with his sons. Once the horrendous things she tried to make those boys believe about their father came to light, Donna put her ultimate plan in motion and put her henchman baby boy in charge of logistics. I think sometime during all this planning Wendi caught wind of what was actually gonna happen, & Donna got her involved in the shadows. There are too many coincidences between Wendi & Lacasse for me to believe he wasn't supposed to be the fall guy, so in this aspect Wendi HAD to know. I just don't think this was her idea, though, nor do I think she was hands-on enough to ever be indicted. Knowledge of a crime does not make one guilty of it. Simple. The family kept wendi out of the mrdr as much as possible. There is zero evidence against her except for what she said in the court testimonies, she's a bad liar and has a hard time keeping her mouth closed. Edit i almost forgot, there is one thing: Wendi tried to frame her ex boyfriend, she tried to set it up so he would be in the vicinity when the hitman would strike

I have been following this case since 2016 when it broke. Dan Markel was killed July 18th 2014 and died in the hospital early morning of the 19th. He was a legal professor at the law school in Tallahassee, FL. And there's so much more to this case than what you had spoken about and that is the reason why the DA is not going to make a deal with grandma from hell. And little Wendi (she's an attorney herself) the ex-wife from hell..she is all part of this malicious and hideous crime as well. She drove by the crime scene about an hour after Dan was shot. Yep that's typical if you're guilty.
All of the internet and CZcams stations, especially the legal CZcams stations are all talking about it. You need to get on commentary with STS Nation, he's a former reporter and knows all about this case. You would be great as one of their panels, your smart, legal mind and very funny.
Donna just got through yesterday having a status hearing in court where they had to talk about an issue that may rise in court in the trial. Charlie's attorney which is now Donna's attorney spoke to Donna right after Charlie was convicted. Donna was all upset on a jailhouse call with Charlie when she thought she hung up the phone but she didn't. There was a Open Mic call and Donna was upset and talking about what to do, her assets and fleeing. She was saying, this attorney "Dan" Rashbum told Donna that she might have a chance to flee in time. Something like that. Yeah the attorney can't give her advice on that and it might be a big problem for this attorney..We'll have to wait and see. SMH!!
And I kid you not you would have a blast with this attorney Dan Rashbum (Rashi), I call him). He thinks half A$$ backwards from a normal legal perspective. He just went on STS Nation and was talking about this and him representing Donna. I couldn't believe he did that and commented little bits on what he spoke to Donna about regarding her flee. Yep we're all waiting for the judge to put a gag order on him for talking. If you watch Charlie Adelson's trial you would just see this attorney Bozo the clown in action. Which to me that's great let him keep causing a disaster and they all end up in prison because they all need to be in prison anyway..‼️ Yes every one of the families they're all in on it.
The reason it took so long to start convicting the Adelson's was because there was a prosecuting attorney in Tallahassee that was friends of and a judge or state representative in Miami that was a friends with the Adelson's. Willie Meggs is his name he's retired... Thank you Jesus!! And now a new prosecutor's there and they're getting this thing done...long awaiting too... Yep Adelson's had connections.
Here is the CZcams channel: "Surviving the Survivor Best guest in true crime."
And here's a link to the attorney Rashi's interview with them which was an absolute disaster and hilarious at the same..SMH

Yep, for years and years State Attorney Willie Meggs claimed there wasn’t enough evidence to bring them to trial. And yet, Wendi’s boyfriend at the time, Jeff Lacasse, had solved the crime ten minutes into his police interview. If you deep dive into this case you will not believe it. If it was a Hollywood script, no one would believe it.

That’s not what “disingenuous” means. You seem to think it’s synonymous with the word “wrong,” it isn’t. To be disingenuous basically means “to not be genuine,” usually applied when a statement is given or some position is taken. An example; if Bruce had known beforehand that Dan Markell was actually well liked by everyone but the Adelsons, but he knowingly lied and stated otherwise for whatever reason, that would be disingenuous. However; if he were simply mistaken when he said it - which he clearly was - then it’s not disingenuous, it’s just incorrect.
Sorry to ramble about it, I’ve frequently been seeing people misuse the word lately. Maybe it’ll help someone though at least.

We've 3 grown daughters. Told all that unless their husbands become addicts or abusive our ears are closed to anything their husbands tell them in their private lives. To tell anyone words their husbands share in confidence with them is a betrayal of sorts. The last thing a spouse needs to think is their inlaws know things shared in trust. Any problems are between them and need to be solved by them. Our oldest divorced her 1st husband and we remain friendly bc he's the dad of 2 of our grands. A good dad too. She was also fathered by a guy I had a long relationship with who sadly was an addict for the 1st 15 yrs of her life. My current husband adopted her when she was 5. Her bio dad loved her enuf to sign papers. When she was 15 he got clean for 13 yrs b4 he passed from cancer. She had a relationship with him in those clean yrs. He never paid child support but when he passed he left her all he owned. His parents did too. She was able to finish college and buy a home outright. We never spoke negatively of him. I told my daughter that he had an illness and it was always our hope he'd beat his demons and he did. Looking back 18 years after his death I've no regrets that I didn't speak down about him. The clean him was a pretty good guy. Even in active addiction he had deep regrets of what drugs took from him.
Sorry so long but I get upset for kids...even grown ones whose parent or grandparent speaks ill of their mom or dad.
Michael rests in peace and I'm glad my daughter got to know him b4 he left this earth.

He had intended for her to be found at a later date, not a few days after he dumped the body. Moral of the story is now he is in prison, mom is dead and grandparents are raising the child. Really? I remember watching the trial for her brother and the two that he contracted to kill the father right in his driveway. What I took away from it was that this woman and her son hated the son-in-law more than the woman divorcing him. It was almost a game of capture the flag to them rather than custody of children. The children must be early to late teens by now and I cant imagine being shielded of the news.

The fact those kids have been with these monsters that completely erased their father from their lives, including changing their last name, is disgusting. I hope they grow up and learn of this and hate these monsters.
Edit: I disagree Donna deserves just as much time as Charles. She was the one that pushed for this. The horrible crap she did before this to try and make the father's life difficult alone should have warranted some kind of charge. Dan was literally murdered right after a court filing to limit grandma's access because of the crap she was saying to the kids. She was the primary instigator of this.
