The underage girls need to make complaints regarding the abuse they have suffered and they need to progress these claims to the police and to court.

When I was 13, my mother joined a cult. A year in, she wanted out, so she ended up selling me to the leader. Yes, I said she sold me for a whopping $1000 and an apartment. It was the most horrific 2.5-year life. I was able to get away after my father reported me missing. I went on to graduate a year early and went to nursing school. However, there's not a day that goes by that I'm not affected by what I went through. I caught HPV from him. I had to have a full hysterectomy at age 23. I sustained many injuries that caused arthritis and I just lost a kidney from damage I sustained. But, I survived. He went to prison and is now living in Texas.... forever registered as a se/ offender. My heart goes out to these women, from one survivor to another.
EDIT: TO CLEAR UP THE DATE ISSUE. I meant the next 2.5 years of my life was horrible, not that I was with the cult for 2.5 years. There was the trial, I was homeless, I was addicted to pain medication, and I just couldn't seem to find my way. My story came out in the Farmington Daily Times, April 19, 2009, as part of the "Take Back the Night" series, for those who don't believe me. There is a picture of me and a lengthy article that tells part of my story.

This has honestly been one of the worst things I have found out in life. That young girls were systematically put through this for the richest and most powerful people on the planet. Child abuse on an industrial scale. Knowing that these folks will never serve any real justice and, like you said, how terrifying it is for any of these women to come forward considering the power differential and the high profile of the people who participated. Then, not a single one of these powerful and rich people spoke up about what was going on or tried to stop it. I know a lot of the horrifying, large-scale things that have gone on in history and this is up there. Why does the world have to be such a place of evil.
Most people had no idea what was going on, but President Trump said if he was elected he would drain the swamp, that is exactly what he has done, all this is for the movie. They have all been caught and dealt with, and not just in US, it’s worldwide. Watch Sound of Freedom, Jim Caviezel.

There was a documentary made in 1993 for the Discovery Channel titled "Conspiracy of Silence - Abuse in Boy's Town". These people have always been above the law. You're absolutely correct about these types of people, particularly pedophiles, not being able to rehabilitate!!! I had a friend who worked for the state (which I will not mention) as a psychologist to pedophiles who had served their time in prison and were back out in society. And I asked her one time if it was even possible that these people were able to not see children in that sick way, and she said no, they just learn to control their impulsive nature. They're maladaptive, and just learn how to control themselves so they can live in freedom (with legal limitations) among the rest of society. She said they know that it's wrong, but due to whatever (?), they just are the way they are. How she could even do such a job was beyond my comprehension, but I guess somebody has to?!
I would like to add that they do not learn how to control their impulses, more likely that they learn to hide their behaviour so as not to be caught.
@@katellaexactly. They learn to be more covert and careful. That's if they even have the impulse control for any level of restraint. Plenty of them just reoffend without any kind of effort to abstain, escalating their crimes in amongst serving insufficient sentences and being set free to do it all again.
I listened to some psych on NPR talking about treating pedos. He actually said "if they relapse", and I thought, Well, if an alcoholic relapses, they MIGHT drive a car and kill someone. If a pedo relapses, they are definitely going to ruin someone's life.

I truly believe they have their brains wired differently to the rest of us. Either that or a chemical imbalance. This is why they cannot fully be rehabilitated. The urge is always there but they can learn to either control it or hide what they do. I worked in an environment where I came into contact with a few of them and some were repeat offenders. One in particular, had to have an escort if he wanted to go anywhere. I assume that service was withdrawn at some point because he reoffended twice and is now in prison for a very long time. Apparently, he wants to be chemically castrated which just proves how much he can't control himself.

Thank you so much for pointing out how hard it must have been for these girls to come forward against a lot of very powerful people. I was abused by my uncle, and when I spoke up I was not believed for decades and was punished and called a liar (my uncle went on to abuse my younger cousins as a result) so I know how hard it is to speak up against anyone - let alone against powerful famous people.
As for Prince Andrew he hasn't just lost his status in the Royal Family, but he also lost all respect of the people in the UK. He used to be a popular Royal, but now he is universally disliked by everyone.
