its all about nutrition, i cut out the stupid takeouts, stopping at the mcdonalds drive through, i stop ordering with the boys at work, and i cut the junk out and i lost 30 pounds. Cook your own meals a lot better for you.

I’m taking a 2 week break off social media and I’m concentrating on myself to make mental recovery.
Three Things:
1. I’m not losing body fat.
2. I’m slimming down.
3. I’m maintaining water weight.
I did the exact same things with my daily routine.It was out control and stressful I quit before I got results.That’s definitely true,I now focus on daily clean Diet,exercise and a stretching and a daily fun hobby.
Exercise and mental health goes hand in hand; especially for Foundational Black Americans who are suffering from the bad generational effects of slavery. This is an issue that goes overlooked in the black community. I think Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome, as Dr. Joy DeGruy explains it, plays a significant role in the mental health for Foundational Black Americans. At any rate, the advice in this video helped me cope with my childhood & adolescent trauma, which is rooted in the bad generational effects of slavery, to where I was able to develop & maintain a daily workout routine along with being consistent with a healthy diet. I have lost 10 pounds already and still losing weight. Thanks a lot Brix Fitness.

Man I recently came across your videos and man could I use your help. As a truck driver my morning schedule is never the same and I’m normally getting home around 4 or 5pm. I too am overweight and would love to lose those pounds but lack the confidence and the consistent schedule to get out and make those hard changes. I use a habit tracking app. It gives me stats like consecutive steak and completion percentage. The goal is 80% or higher for 90days. Then I work on the next habit and keep building.

But i do tell them to program desire and beliefs into their affirmations.

No one can easily change their natural physical attributes but self care makes people more physically and psychologically active. Do you have a routine for someone that works the graveyard shift?
All I know is don’t eat to sleep or drink caffeine to stay awake the last 4 hours. Try flipping whichever the recommended wake-up time here is by finding the time you get off work and get to bed, then add 8 hours of sleep. Off at 7AM, bed at 8AM up at 4PM.
Just adjust the routine for your schedule

5:10 am -make your bed
5:15 am -20 minute workout
5:30 am -3 rounds of wim hoff breathing.
5:45 am -3 min cold shower
6:00 am -high fat/ protein breakfast
9:00 am -work
Evening
6:30 pm - 5-20 min meditation
7:00 pm - dinner, high protein meal…big ass salad. Include healthy carbs
8:30 pm - cut off all screens
9:00 pm - journal
9:30 pm - go to sleep
