And a bit of contribution here:
Sometimes, it’s not just about over eating, but what you are actually over eating. Our choice of foods are what makes us fat, not because we ate.
So be disciplined enough to be eating necessary nutrients. Fiber, protein, a bit of healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates. Then vegetables and addition of fruits.
Avoid processed foods as if they are instant poison.
    Hope this helps someone.

      @BrixFitness  Před 4 měsíci

I hear you, and it's completely okay to feel overwhelmed at the beginning of your journey. Acknowledging that you need help and reaching out is a brave and crucial first step. Starting can often be the hardest part, but remember, every journey begins with a single step, and you've just taken yours.
Here's a simple guide to help you start on a path toward the change you want to see:
      1. Define Your Goals: Start by defining what you want to achieve. Keep it clear and realistic. Whether it's improving your health, losing weight, or building better habits, knowing what you're working towards is essential.
      2. Small Steps: Break down your goals into smaller, manageable actions. If your goal feels too big, it can be paralyzing. Small steps could include incorporating more vegetables into your meals, going for a daily walk, or reducing sugary drinks. 3. Celebrate each small victory to build momentum.
Seek Information: Gather information from reliable sources to help you make informed decisions about nutrition, exercise, and wellness. Knowledge is power, but be mindful of information overload. Focus on foundational aspects first.
4.Professional Guidance: Consider seeking help from professionals like a dietitian, a personal trainer, or a wellness coach. They can provide personalized advice tailored to your unique needs and circumstances.
      5. Support System: Share your goals with friends or family members who can offer encouragement and accountability. Alternatively, look for online communities or local groups with similar goals.
      6. Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself throughout this process. Change takes time, and setbacks are part of the journey. Practice self-compassion and patience.
      7. Reflect and Adjust: Regularly reflect on your progress and be open to adjusting your approach. What works for someone else might not work for you, and that's okay.
For structured support and guidance tailored to your needs, consider exploring my group coaching program. It's designed to help you navigate the complexities of making lasting changes, providing you with the tools, knowledge, and community support needed to succeed. You can learn more about how we can work together at www.wearegodswellness.com.
Remember, you've already taken the first step by recognizing your need for change and reaching out. That's a sign of strength. Keep moving forward, one step at a time, and know that I'm here to support you on your journey to wellness.

I'm in the late night craving stage. After my 5th meal which is my last meal before bed, I wake up in the middle of the night supper hungry. Once I conquer those cravings, I will be good.

    • @BrixFitness
      @BrixFitness  Před 4 měsíci +1

Thanks for sharing your struggle with late-night cravings; it's a challenge many face but often feel alone in. Nighttime hunger can indeed be a tough opponent in your journey to wellness, reflecting not just physical hunger but sometimes emotional or habitual needs as well.
First off, consider if your last meal is balanced enough to sustain you through the night. A combination of proteins, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates can help in feeling fuller longer. Also, hydration is key; sometimes, our bodies confuse thirst with hunger. Try keeping a glass of water by your bed for those midnight wake-ups.
But there's another layer to it! The discipline and consistency you're striving for go beyond just diet; they're about tuning into what your body and mind truly need. When those cravings hit, ask yourself: What am I really hungry for? Is it comfort, distraction, or maybe something else?
You're not alone in this journey. If you're looking for more personalized strategies and support to conquer these cravings and build a lifestyle that aligns with your goals, check out my group coaching program. It's designed for men like you, focusing on the mental and emotional aspects of weight loss, helping you find sustainable ways to manage these challenges. Visit us at www.wearegodswellness.com to learn more about how we can work together to overcome these hurdles. or you can reach out on Instagram ig.me/m/brixgoesin

Im just crying because not being able to get out of the house is a torment. Please if someone can just point me in the right direction, I can't take it anymore, I NEEED to change my life... please if you can someone recomend me some guidelines on diet and how to start working on myself as a fat cow with zero mobility. I don't know that to do, I just know it's either start working on myself or getting ready for surgeries in the near future. Im 32, 131 kg now. please... help..

I'm truly sorry to hear about the immense challenges and pain you're experiencing right now. It's clear you're going through an incredibly tough time, and it takes a lot of courage to reach out for help in such a vulnerable state. Your determination to change your life, despite the obstacles you're facing, is a testament to your inner strength.
First and foremost, it's crucial to approach this journey with compassion for yourself. The language you use to describe yourself reflects a harshness that you don't deserve. You are facing a significant challenge, but it's important to remember that you are not alone, and there is a path forward.
Given your current health and mobility concerns, it's essential to start with small, manageable steps that prioritize your well-being. Since your mobility is limited, focusing on your diet can be a powerful first step. Consider incorporating more whole foods into your diet, like vegetables, fruits, lean proteins, and whole grains. These foods are not only nutritious but can also help you feel better overall. However, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional or a dietitian to create a plan that's tailored to your specific health needs and limitations.
For your mobility and pain, gentle movements might be beneficial, but only under the guidance of a professional who understands your spinal issues. This could include physical therapy or gentle exercises designed to improve flexibility and strength without putting undue strain on your back. Again, professional advice is crucial here to avoid any further injury.
I strongly encourage you to check out my website at www.wearegodswellness.com where you can find more resources and support. My group coaching program could offer you the guidance, accountability, and community support that can make a big difference in your journey. Together, we can work on setting realistic goals, developing a personalized plan, and finding strategies that can help you navigate this challenging time with care and support.
Remember, it's not about making drastic changes overnight but about making consistent, small improvements that add up over time. Every step you take towards your health is valuable, and I believe in your ability to embark on this path towards healing and strength. You've taken the first, most crucial step by reaching out for help-let's take the next steps together. Your journey is important, and you don't have to face it alone.

It's completely understandable to feel discouraged by past attempts that didn't go as planned. The journey to weight loss and personal transformation is often filled with ups and downs, and it's not uncommon to face moments of doubt and frustration. What's important to remember is that every journey is unique, and what might seem like setbacks are actually part of the learning process, helping you understand more about yourself and what works best for you.
Here's how I've learned to navigate those challenging moments and shift my mindset:
Acknowledge Your Feelings: It's okay to feel discouraged or doubtful. Acknowledge these feelings without judgment. Understand that it's a natural part of the human experience and doesn't define your ability to succeed.
Reflect on Past Attempts: Instead of viewing previous attempts as failures, see them as valuable lessons. Reflect on what they've taught you about your habits, triggers, and what strategies did or didn't work for you. This insight is incredibly valuable.
Set Realistic Goals: Sometimes, we set ourselves up for disappointment by aiming for goals that aren't aligned with our current reality. Break your goal into smaller, manageable steps that feel achievable. Celebrating small victories can boost your confidence and motivation.
Shift Your Focus: Instead of focusing solely on weight loss as the end goal, shift your focus to developing healthier habits and improving your overall well-being. When you focus on the process and how it makes you feel, the results will often follow.
Find Your Why: Understanding why you want to lose weight and improve your health can be a powerful motivator. Write it down, and remind yourself of it, especially during tough times.
Seek Support: Surrounding yourself with a supportive community can make a significant difference. Whether it's friends, family, or a coaching program, having people who believe in you and support your journey can help you stay motivated and accountable.
Practice Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself. Change is hard, and setbacks are normal. Practice speaking to yourself with the same kindness and encouragement you would offer a friend.
If you're looking for more personalized guidance and a supportive community that understands exactly what you're going through, I invite you to explore my group coaching program at www.wearegodswellness.com. Together, we'll work on creating a sustainable path toward your goals, focusing on building a positive mindset and habits that last.
Remember, believing in yourself is a choice and a practice. It's something you can cultivate over time, with each small step you take forward. You have the strength and the capability to achieve your goals, and I'm here to support you on that journey.
