Thank you Haji! I'm looking for a place to shoot 250 yards or more. The slugs are flying stable and I would like to see how they do at farther distances. How are they working out of your guns. Is there any other guns that like these slugs?

Very nice Stephen I drilled out my barrel port that’s all I’ve done shot my first 100 yard group yesterday with H&N 21.14 at884 FPS got 1.06 “ can’t wait to try you slugs thanks for all you do for us

Sweet...Nice shooting. Hope you take it after the Rock Pigeons. That will be some awesome footage plus would love to see how they perform compared to Nelson Slugs. Personally, I have never fired Nelsons or even handled them but I have yours and your slugs are perfect in weight and shape. Can't wait. Thanks for the video.
The neilsens slugs do not work well in the Nova liberty. I've tried them at different velocities but no luck. That's why I made my own.

I have been going through your videos on this gun. Winter's here in New Mexico and I'm bored so I need something to Tinker with. You said that you did nothing with that gun except your Hammer adjustment and 3/16 drill the Barrel Port. Did you tune up the regulator? I am just loving that rifle. You did a beautiful job on all your stocks. I myself like to Tinker with my air rifles and I want something to do. So I was thinking about purchasing one. I like the fact that handles your slugs no problem. You're getting some amazing groups. I really like your videos brother. They're very well-informed and you always shoot us straight. Thank you for making these videos. It really helps guys like me to take the guesswork out of it .👍🇺🇸✌
Thank you Richard! Yes I also turned the regulator up a bit to increase the output pressure to about 2900psi. You will need a chronograph to make sure you don't turn the regulator too far. Once you turn the reg beyond the point it can no longer seal against the white delrin Piston stop your gun will act like an unregulated gun. Just one important note..?if you what to get the power to 50 for you will have to drill the transfer port, add a a larger diameter power wheel and drill the holes larger and drill the transport on the valve a bit larger. That may sound complicated but it's not. I also used a Dremel to angle the valve port for more free flow of air coming out of the air tube. Again easy to do. I suggest you have a large air tank and compressor to make refills easy. Don't try to tune with a hand pump as you will look like a body builder after pumping so many times.

Lord knows I could probably use the exercise.lol. Really thinking about ordering the Jefferson State Raptor in 25 caliber. But I want something to Tinker with.... and like I said you done a hell of a job to your rifles. Awesome. I've been a Centerfire long-range shooter for about 15 to 17 years. Thousand yards & Beyond. Got into air rifle in about 2 years ago. I am completely hooked. Like I said before the other people... it's a complete different science. Steve i up my reg wheel 1/4 turn also drill out the barrel to 3/16 " was at 870 fps now at 860/864 ? when you adjust the reg wheel counter clock wise is that looking down the barrel or like you are shooting it ? was using Baracuda match 21.14 gr i hand pump so its a bitch to degas to often lol thx.

Iam a Steamfitter by trade and a dish base should be faster than a flat based one . The dish base should Handel pressure better as the projectile moves through the barrel and pressure centers in the dish . A flat surface thus the pressure always trying to find a weak spot . I could see this maybe making the slug less accurate while the pressure distribution may actually be to one side of the slug as it leaves the muzzle. This is why high pressure piping is always caped with a round cap and not a flat blind . The flat blind simpily can not handle the super high pressure they can fail.

Im about to get me one to play with while I wait on FX Usa to get my Impact back. I do believe I'll figure out how to put a larger plenum on the Liberty, and see how those benefits are!

Do you know what the twist rate is on the barrel that the Nova liberty uses? Twist rate is very important in maintaining long range accuracy. I'm assuming they don't use a lothar Walther barrel because the barrel itself would comprise 50% of the cost of the gun if that was the case. But LW uses barrels with a twist rate of 1:17.7 , which only provides moderate stability for .22 slugs. So I was curious what the twist rate of your barrel is. I also believe if you could push those slugs 50-100 fps faster, your group size would be cut in half.
I believe these are proprietary barrels from Nova. My barrel is a stock Nova liberty barrel with a 1 in 17" twist. I have been told that upto 35 grains in .217 diameter the spun rate is adequate. So, that's why I tried making a few different slug types till I found one that worked. So far only 1 person has told me they didn't work in his barrel. I then asked him to clean and season the barrel. That worked for him too.
@@AirVelocitySport So if you load the slugs by hand, how do they feel when they push into the breech? Is there any resistance? I know the bore diameter of the of the LW barrel is .215" bore diameter and .221" groove.
I understand that .001" can make a huge difference in accuracy, so in your gun .218" may be grossly inaccurate, while .217" may be like a laser beam hitting it's mark.
I think you should sell a kit that includes 20 or 25 rounds of your AVS slugs. They could be sized from .216" up to .221" (20-25 in each size). All the customers are looking for is groups at first. They could run through the gamut of sizes and see which groups the tightest . Once they determine the exact size to use, then they can make a larger purchase of the slugs in that size. I don't know if you already have the sizing dies for the other sizes, but if you do, then you could charge $30 (or more) for the kit. Then your customers can know the exact size that works best for their barrels. Just a thought....

Hey sir. what is the best speed for your 23 gr slugs?
I personally find that anywhere from 840 to 990 was the best range. I have had others tell tell me they shot them at 770fps with very good accuracy out of the Nova liberty

Problem is I had mine sitting on my deadshot fieldpro tripod and it was so windy that it fell over and my stock broke. I see you made a very nice stock for yours. I was wondering if you would make one for me or help me build one since ATI does not have any replacements in stock. I can pay for your workmanship or ship the rifle to you. I do not have the tools to make one like you have. I would appreciate any help or guidance 🙏 Thank You in Advance
