    The 2012 Camry is far from boring. I just bought a 268 horsepower Attitude Black SE with 18" alloys, paddle shifters, Entune (Voice control apps) and ultra suede seats. 5-star overall safety rating, KBB's best resale value award, IIHS top safety pick and free maintenance. I can't wait to blow the doors off a bloated flash and trash Sonata the first chance I get.

  • @AaronSmith-kr5yf
    @AaronSmith-kr5yf Před 2 lety +2

    We bought a 2012 V6 SE to replace a 2000 Avalon. HUGE UPGRADE in terms of horsepower and how it handles/drives overall, thing was a rocket ship, feels like Toyota under-rated the V6 horsepower. Also a big upgrade in terms of tech, bluetooth, touch screen navigation, stability control, more airbags, push button start, etc. However I liked the Avalon better, it was more of a land yatch, which is my style of car. Way quieter, lots more room, bigger trunk, interior was screwed together better, it was just a nicer place to cruise at 75-80mph for 500 miles at a time. Also the seats were mounted a good bit higher with larger door openings, made it very easy to get/in out of and more comfortable since you didn't sit on the floor like the 2012 Camry.

    I think this model looks better than the new 2015 model... I like the edginess this one has. The 2015 model looks too plain, bland, and is lumped in with a bunch of other cars... at least the 2012 design looked different, haven't seen another sedan like it.

      @roostersideburns3440 Před 6 lety +1

    • @richarddobson3138
      @richarddobson3138 Před 4 lety +4

      @@mrbigbigtoe Couldn't agree more...Toyota read too many anti Toyota reviews rather than look at their product and its sales...The 12-14 was significantly better looking than the horrid 15-17 refresh. Sales were much higher for the 12-14 as well.. The 15-17s new clothing didn't excel in any area and in fact it looked like multiple designers put it together without talking to each other...The rear end of that car is hideously bloated with the overly large zero design taillights.... Their was zero cohesion in the design of the 15-17, whereas the 12-14 had plenty.. The 18 was a huge improvement especially the rear end, and the top half of the front fascia really resembles the top front fascia of the 12-14s. I'm considering buying a 19 or 20 but I'm torn between the two basic design differences.. The L models are slightly too conservative and the S models are slightly overdone.. 18-20s probably the best looking Camry's ever but I'd say the 12-14( SEs only) are pretty close

    • @graesson
      @graesson Před 4 lety

      @@richarddobson3138 agree. Just purchased my first Toyota last summer (2012 Barcelona Red SE ltd. $10,200 w/ 80k). After getting Toyota to honor TSB- II for Torque Converter & ECM fix couldn't be happier with the sporty accoutrements, 18" rims (without which is just too stodgy) and Kyle Busch NASCAR heritage. This is from a long time Honda driver (~500k). Also see Scotty Kilmer video- "Here's Why Mechanics Don't Want You to Buy This Car." For a 60 year old common sense male driver, it fit the bill quite nicely.

    Toyota doesn't get any money from making the LFA even when priced $375,000,so it's impossible to price it at 90k,plus they only make 500 of them (150 in the US).
    And they use a special carbon fibre, The car is like almost completely carbon fibre.
    The 458 doesn't offer the driver feel the LFA does,almost all reviews about the LFA says that it has a driver feel that most of all the other supercars don't offer.
    and the FR-S is meant to be a cheap fun to drive car/tuner so I'm with you on that one.
