This is quite possibly my favorite Ross comment ever, as it strikes that delicate balance between snark and humor. Well played, sir. Well played indeed. -Emme@RoadflyTV
I have the exact same car. I love it I'm only 16 going on 17 in April nd its a wonderful first car for me being a junior in highschool. I got mine from Toyota on Western. NO REGRETS!!!!
Truth Moment hi I'm Khunt2011 and I go on to other car reviewers videos and beat up Hyundai cars, but I do it because I've experience both cars. Now Toyota is the best in my opinion and I don't care what no one says the camry is here and its here to stay, let me repeat that The camry is here and here to stay ! Nice review Ross and Roadfly! And thanks for confirming that the camry is here to stay.
Best backup camera you've ever tested Ross? I think you should have said in the mid-size economy sedan category, because the Audi backup camera with active parameters completely blows the Camry's out of the water in function. Regardless, great review! You covered the boring car with good information.
Car sizes just can't get any bigger everytime it gets redesigned as it has demonstrated with the Camry and the new Accord is also slightly smaller to put it back into the mid-size category.
Wow. I am gracious and so appreciative of my parents buying that for me. I don't even drive it. My mom does and I drive our old Camry. So don't even give me that crap. Plus my parents have owned Toyota's and Lexus's for the past 22 years. Yeah, that's why I am and always will be a loyal Toyota owner.
@2Kris2Kross the mid-size sedan that's going to stop Camry's reign is the 2013 Fusion and Fusion Hybrid because Ford already said the is going to get impressive MPGs (I forgot how much they said).
I first started buying Toyota's in the mid-90's.They are so damn reliable! My current 2006 Camry SE V6 has 79K (a baby in Toyota years), I still own my 95 Corolla w/ 160K and still runs great. My 2004 Sienna LE has 130K, and has never seen a mechanic except for routine maintenance. I plan to drive my current 2006 SE for 250K before considering buying another car
If i said too all car, this one have the most airbag that have ever built in this car, my parents have driven camry when sense 1987 threw 2005, and as i said, this car is the most quiet car ever:) and the engine is sample to look at:)
I am driving one of the 4 cylinder base models overseas and it's a nice car. Not exciting but nice, very good on gas too. I also drive this car over 100 mph hour on my daily commute and it's quieter then a Mazda 6, I like it. I would probably really enjoy a 6 cylinder with leather and may get one when I am back in America. Or not since it looks so plain. Probably get a Honda or Kia or Hyundai instead.
As much as people hate the Camry for mediocre handling/driving dynamics - its still the car to beat in the segment...........if Toyota got serious with this car they would wipe out any competitors to it.
The 2012 camry is the best ever comments listed below in this conversation. .My mom has a 2003 Camry LE 4-cylinder it is AWESOME. It lasts forever, get one to also save your life in a crash Ive tested out all other cars that compare to camry but they dont camry is the best. Dont get any other car. its fast, tough, smooth, and great looking inside and out. Its very cheap.
Lower weight is a plus in the city, where acceleration is frequent but never quite so much that wind resistance is an issue. Once you are up to speed, it is mostly aerodynamics and mass. That is more a function of manipulating momentum. You have to "push" more and more often the lighter a car is. Lower WT is best for hard/frequent accl. The claim that lighter weight leads to better F/econ isn't always easy to agree with. Your mileage WILL vary...
If I ever buy the 8th Generation Camry SE I'm gonna do a 6 Speed Manual Transmission swap. I'll be the first person to do an Auto to Manual conversion. The way a Camry should be with stick shift.
I agree completely. I wish so bad this car would sell bad but we all know people see a Toyota badge and it's sold. It appalls me whenever I see someone with a Camry, especially a new one. Out of all the better options out there, u got a camry? Money well wasted. Hopefully with all the new competition comming up sales will go down... I was happy to hear the Nissan Altima was the second best selling car last year. Take that, Camry!
the Camry they released for Asian markets looks so much better than the North American version..It was that was for Gen6, and still the same for Gen 7....:( never understood why they would want two designs for different parts of the world...
The truth is that most drivers around the world are looking for appliances. As car enthusiasts we appreciate so much more about our cars but we're a very small minority. -Charlie@RoadflyTV
I beg to differ. I'm 16 and was begging for that car. Guess what? It's in my driveway. Though my mom drives it for now, it's mine for college. So yeah. The Camry is definitely not a car for someone that is boring or has a dull sex life.
I was car shopping and i did look at the passat vs the new camry and i priced both of them the same around 30k and if i may say they are amazing cars but i got a deal on the camry and moved on...lol
Most important car in the world.... Because in the US...... Just FYI there is a world outside the US. The Camry is practically unknown in Europe and in Japan it is a niche model.
So are you drooling over the 2013 Acura ILX, 2013 RDX, 2013 Accord Coupe and Sedan and the new Acura NSX and their flag ship model, the Acura RLX yet? (I know the release dates are far off from now) When will you guys get the reviews? How does he like the Idea of Honda going to Direct Injection and possible CVT? I Dislike CVT so much but Hopefully I can count on Honda to option a 6 speed Manual or atleast a basic 5-6 speed Auto. At the least, make the 5 speed Auto CVT assisted.
well not sure about pricing but Toyota will be more reliable plus cheaper to service and I think more spcaious. From what I have heard V dubs (at least in Aus) are notoriously relatively expensive to service (e.g. Amarok major service 1000 AUD).
is he tiny or is the car huge....
Hurray, I LOVE EVERY ROSS REVIEW! Love this channel.
Another great review! Thanks Ross.
great review as always Ross
Great job man you're really good at these
I really like this car prefect balance for sport, practicality, reliablity, and style. This is defiantly on the list of cars to buy.
A "thinking man's" car review. I like how you guys add the exact tire size when describing the wheels.
This thing looks great :) I really like the modifications they've made to the exterior :)
YESẞSSSSSSS 👍💯✔️😇

when it comes to reviewing a car ROSS your the best!!!!
love my 2012 camry...he put it smartly!
well said. not to mention how they have improved quality and give you a ton of features for the money.
Good test drive video
Hey Ross, what makes the Camry's backup camera the best one you have tested?
I have the exact same car. I love it I'm only 16 going on 17 in April nd its a wonderful first car for me being a junior in highschool. I got mine from Toyota on Western. NO REGRETS!!!!
Mechanical Dj Jesus ur right he makes the Camry look like a hole suv for Christs sake because of how small he is
I wanna to know if you're gonna still thinking the same when you have to change the transmission fluid
are you guys going to review the subaru brz or scion frs any time soon?
I'll see you next time.. Mr. Rappoport

I love Ross! :D
Snow in April? I'm glad I live in Albuquerque. We're hitting 79 degrees today :-)

do the 2013 accord
Gotta love the new Camry and how Toyota has improved the interior design with more premium materials. Good job Toyota!
YESẞSSSSSSS....I LOVE IT 👍💯💕🤣
hahahahahaha why does every car seem to dwarf Ross? Great review as always, man!
ross needs his own show on network tv
although they both use the same engine but for some reason you have to use premium with the ES
ross, have you been given a demotion? first the prius and now the camry.
I hope the SE could also sound like a sport car
Car sizes just can't get any bigger everytime it gets redesigned as it has demonstrated with the Camry and the new Accord is also slightly smaller to put it back into the mid-size category.
FYI!! The SE in Camry has ALWAYS stood for "Sport Edition." Never has Toyota referred to Camry SE as "Special Edition."
Wow. I am gracious and so appreciative of my parents buying that for me. I don't even drive it. My mom does and I drive our old Camry. So don't even give me that crap. Plus my parents have owned Toyota's and Lexus's for the past 22 years. Yeah, that's why I am and always will be a loyal Toyota owner.
can u guys please do the optima hybrid 2012?
@2Kris2Kross the mid-size sedan that's going to stop Camry's reign is the 2013 Fusion and Fusion Hybrid because Ford already said the is going to get impressive MPGs (I forgot how much they said).
I just bought this car last week...😊😊
ross you rule!
Still getting the Optima!
Dude that camry looked huge. How tall is the guy in this video? My girl bought 1 of them and it's not as huge looking as the 1 in this video.
snow in april?

Nice design :)
✔️😇💯👍🤓💚
Not to hate on Ross or anything, but he makes the backseat look massive.
Is this a Moxie's commercial?
That was very nice. I wonder if they all have a back up camera like that.
No. It doesn't come standard. It would be nice if it did.
astonmartinridin starting 2014 they came standard on all model
@@adams1696 NO, 2014.5 EDITION DID👍💯😇💚✔️
Kay McCall I should’ve known. I have a 14.5 lol Updated crash test too hehe

Great review, considering how boring this car is! Keep it up, Ross!
I fully agree. Also, I ment "well built"
I dont know why you got so many thumbs down... I completely agree!!!
first time that i like a camry
Ross makes cars look HUGE!!! lol
I really like the looks of this car and I think I would buy this over an Accord.
I DO TOO 😊💕💯
Agreed!
How about you review the LE, the model most people can AFFORD to buy???
I love camry 2012
In the past year or so Mazda has been my favourite Car company
As much as people hate the Camry for mediocre handling/driving dynamics - its still the car to beat in the segment...........if Toyota got serious with this car they would wipe out any competitors to it.

I always wanted a camry the size of a phantom
No the base I4 LE is $21,000. The I4 SE model is $24,000, while the V6 SE bumps it up to $26,000.
i knew they arent the same but i didnt know there is so big difference
I love my camry some of you can judge it say its boring to me its sporty and runs great. 2009 SE
@Oliver Newell its an appliance that gets you feoman a to b and nothing more.

agreed!
I have it and i love it ^_^
Me ....I OWN A BLACK 2014.5 SPECIAL EDITION SPORT CAMRY.... FULLY LOADED N I #LOVEIT💯🤓✔️😇💙💚
in my opinion, the price cut is visible in the quality of the leather and craftsmenship of the seats. doesn't look like quality work beginning @ 2:08.
holy fender flares batman!!!

this just made me want to buy a Passat even more.....
no bloopers at the end :( lol
Great car. Does everythign you need it to do with a second thought and will last you. Hard to fault it. Powerful roomy better styling built great.
I AGREE 💯👍😇
The Toyota camry. Driving it is like doing laundry.
5.7 seconds 0-60 sure puts an "oh" face when your Camry keeps up with the new f150s people think are fast.

I think a lot of viewers don't understand that most buyers of the camry don't buy it because of it's performance or looks...
the Camry they released for Asian markets looks so much better than the North American version..It was that was for Gen6, and still the same for Gen 7....:(

Acura TSX ripoff much??
Bilbo Baggins?
He said "O" face!!! hahaha
It really reminds me of the Kia Forte.
