What holds the wheel studs on will spin even when the e-brakes are on.
One of my favourite car channels, keep it up!!!
Your channel is so underrated. Entertaining and useful videos.
Hell yea man always look forward to your vids! Such a positive dude🤙🏼
Don't need to do that but always good to learn new tricks 😁 cheers bro
Nice video. Thank you! Seriously, though, you should wear safety glasses when you’re getting your face close to any power tool. I was nervous watching you put your face close to the impact driver while installing the new stud. Take care of yourself, dude!
great video, no BS no stupid music. Done and on to the next thing Bravo!
Like always i enjoy your videos .thank you
Great Video Bro thanks for sharing!
Awesome video man!
All the way from Wales UK. Top job! My subaru is the same to look at but no turbo 🙁 it's a R sport 160bhp but love it. You were the first channel for subarus that I watched 👌
👍😎
Good video, I was working on a newer 2016 forester but the general concept was the same, thank you man
Glad it helped
Watching this reminds me I need to replace both the backing plates on mine. One job I really don't want to do.
Nice video. I just wanted to point out that your link for the Wheel Stud Installer Tool actually goes to the page for the Makita Impact Driver instead of the stud installer. (2023-11-25)
Thanks for the heads up! I just changed that 🙏
I had one stripped on reach of the rear. Couldn't find a good video on how to do the rears so had to take it in to the dealer. Unfortunately they wouldn't do it without replacing the bearing since it was getting pretty bad, but they have me all new studs for free at that point. Lol
Great video
I have a question what if you want to install extended wheel studs? Do you think that taking the hand break shoes will give you enough clearance?
Hmm I’m not sure. However, I’ve seen some guys have to cut that dust shield in order to get the Clearance needed for the extended type studs. It didn’t look like a fun job. One day I want to install some of those!
Thank you for your replay I might do that
Ayyy
I tried to do this with my Impreza and all it did was strip the stud
Sounds like a cheap stud maybe?
