  • Well after the disappointing Maiden attempt, I fixed the FW190 as you have hopefully seen and it was just waiting for a good day to fly.
That day arrived and I am very happy to say we had success with 2 flights before the cold beat me back home.
Seemed to have an issue with my batteries but after getting home, discharging them all then balance charging them, they seem to be a lot better so the next flights will hopefully last longer.
Thanks to all of you for your support and watching. Please feel free to comment, like and subscribe.
Wishing you happy holidays and a good 2024!!

Great job on the re-maiden! The dolly works well and she is a rocket.

Nice! And fast... About 30 years ago, I made one of those for ,49 COX engine and 2 ch radio. It has been hanging from my garage wall ever since, never flown. All others have, so not flying it was propably partly because it ended being so beautiful that the fear of breaking it sort of prohibited the testing.... The other one not flown, yet, is a scratch-built model of AN2, also almost too pretty (for AN2...) to be risked. But it will fly. As it is completely scratch-built exact scale model, I most likely have someone really skilled rc pilot to test-fly it. I am not skilled enough for a most likely quirky flying model...

It’s only fast with a heavy left thumb 😉

Fantastic take offs, low passes and landings! She really does look good in the air. I wonder why it makes that noise when the batteries are discharged. In any case, another great success for your building and flying skills!

Very impressive. Nice job framing, building, covering etc. Like the takeoff fixture idea. I scratch built and converted a Stearman PT-17 from Guillow's plans long time ago. Put a Cox .049 on it. Covered in Monokote. Flew on grass field. Had three successful flights before ripping gear off and doing substantial damage to fuselage. Fun project regardless. Your 190 flew great. Focke Wulf's design flies fast and efficient even in scale. I'd like to try another conversion with electric motor like yours. No castor oil spray. Thumbs up. Subbed.
