SKippy's Guillow's Undercarriage Solution?

Well I've tried overarm, underarm and dolly launches and neither is as neat as a takeoff using undercarriage so I decided to see if I can make a removable solution that may work on all of the Guillow's type models I've built.
Using an already existing undercarriage set, I've created a slot for both the main and tail wheel which means they can be fitted for flight or the main gear can drop out like a dolly as the model gets airborne; well that's the thought anyway :-)
This is how I did it, and we now need to get some better weather to put it to the test.

Nice solution. Undercarriage is for sure one of the challenges always. I have come up with several clumsy solutions to removable undercarriage and I am thinking of how to build and have functional retracts. Way beyond my skill level as I can't even get a plane to fly, but it is good brain candy ;)

Thanks. Retracts would be great but tricky and more expensive. I've done some removable UC for the Dumas Hurricane and will do little video of that.
