In this video titledEU4 Releasables - THIS Is The MOST TRASH NATION In EU4 I do a playthrough as Yazd after releasing it from The Timurids and I try to become a great power in Europa Universalis 4 1.34 Lions of The North. This is the series titled Releasables where I attempt to play every releasable nation in EU4 or Europa Universalis 4. In this video I play as the nation of Yazd in EU4. So let's see if I managed to do it! I hope you guys enjoy this series. If you enjoyed this video consider leaving a like and subscribing for more content in the future.

Which strategy should I use as Nitra to become a great power next time? Leave a comment here.

Obviously become the Emperor of the HRE and have Czech as an accepted culture.
Alternatively stack movement speed modifiers so you can go very fast, like on nitro
Full annexing Poland (if they spurn Lithuania by choosing the local noble) and Bohemia sounds like it'd be fun. West Slav Federation?
In seriousness though, I'd be very careful of Austria. If they PU Hungary before your independence war then breaking free could get significantly harder.
Nitra has a mission tree, just show is how interesting it is!
red hawk, do you have male pattern baldness?
Czechoslovakia
The thing with changing religion is that the rebels must occupy more than 50% of your development, but the graphs show % of provinces for some reason.
nope that is not the case, as long as most of your land is of the religion that you want to flip to think its around 50-60% you don't even need to spawn the rebels, as long as they appear on the rebel tab you can simply accept their demands! easily tested as lithuania since most of the country is orthodox at the start, a valid strategy is to unocuppy all the provinces that the rebels have occupied to negate the autonomy penalty
yep always fun when you see people in videos look at that graph and see 50%+ and then accept demands without it working
@@daanbouman9604 The demands also literally say if it will work or not. Like just read!
@@mattasoEu Yeah, I meant the percentage of religion, cause that's what the rebels do and that's what the graph shows. I could have phrased it a little bit better.
@@hellodolly7989 im not reading allat🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
mushsha decced on timmy, then they got full annexed so chagatai became the primary participant
I’m pretty sure that national national ideas have been around since release day and they’ve given them to every country that they hadn’t yet designed unique ones or group ones for. They were pretty common back then due to very few nations and regions being fleshed out
The generic national ideas are the worst idea set in the game. What's really funny is how much Byzantium borrows from the generic National Ideas - about 7-9 of the Byzantine ideas are straight +5 increases from the National Ideas. If it weren't for the Tolerance of the True faith tradition, Byzantine ideas would be trash tier.
The best generic ideas imo are daimyo ideas
i love how red hawk's hair has been growing recently, soon we'll get too see him with long hair
Bruh I hadn’t gotten a haircut for like three weeks in this video 💀 I always go every two weeks
@@TheRedHawk let it grow, get a mullet.
I know the rules but for whoever is intrested, you can develop Yazd to be higher dev than the other province and release yourself as Zoroastrian this way
Btw I played as Yazd in Extended Timeline, it was a pain, but fun nation to play, cause of a very terrible situation at the start, every neighbour hates me
I dont think its a good idea to start as zoroastrian though. when rebels pop out its easier because they convert some of the provinces to zoroastrian
17:30 imagine being a war advisor, you are sitting around the table with your duke who tells you : "so I just declared war on the country across the sea, let's get them" and then you have to pipe up and remind him that the country doesn't have boats...
10:00 They declared on timurids and ajam declared on timurids. Ajam took those provinces but war continues, Timurids was alliad with Chungustie
The war between mushasha and chagatai was in hidden Ohio so you didn't see it
Ohio strikes again
@@TheRedHawk only in Ohio💀
I actually got this bug too, war between Commonwealth and Tunis
@@TheRedHawk Jokes aside, it looks like the Timurids were allied to Chagatai, Ajam declared on them, then Mushasha declared on them, then Ajam peaced out deleting the Timurids and leaving Mushasha in a war with Chagatai. Wonky af
nitra finna take bohemia
The AI does expand towards the player. I had a game as Delhi for the achievement and Ming conquered Bengal and declared on me.
Playing as Korea I saw castille colonizing Siberia and then declaring war on me
I do wonder how much an aggressive player's activities in a region cause chaos and make the stronger ai perceive areas close to the player as weak. Disrupting alliance networks that might form without the player's presence, weaken neighbours in regular wars, preventing their own allies from expanding by constantly dragging them into wars. Probably other factors are caused by the presence of the player too (the converse effect in Europe when the player is in Iran, lets say).
I've come for my weekly dose of

In Extended Timeline, I played as Yazd, year 1335 under Muzafarrid dynasty, you'll start at a very bad position, with bad leader, 2 bigger nations will warn you not to conquest on weaker neighbours and everyone hates you, but I found a way to get out of that hellhole, it was a pain, but fun nation to play
I think another nation that was allied to Chagatai owned that province that Mushsasha was at war for, but then Ajam declared war on them too, and Chagatai probably denied the call to arms for some reason, so they just had to fight one tiny nation and annexed it super quick, leaving Mushasha in a war against Chagatai, since the nation they declared on no longer exists.
I know that is a run on sentence, but I just don't care.
Also, Yazd actually just has the generic national ideas. I haven't seen those in a while lol
I like how you show 6 and 2 with your fingers at 23:07. :-) Merry Christmas and congratulations for 100k on YT! :-)
"Who made these ideas?"
Probably some guy who didn't think anyone would be craziest enough to release this nation to play it.
If you're actually curious what happened, Ajam full annexed the timurids, meaning they no longer exist. When the primary War Target of a war is full annexed and no longer exists, as long as they had allies in the war, then the war Target changes to the next strongest full participant in the war. In this case, the Ottomans were Allied to chaugatay, so chagatai becomes the new war target, because the war cannot end if there are still participants in the war when the primary participant is full annexed.
Did red hawk see budget monks Calvary video, feel like he got called out a bit there 😅
21:00 that is a nice, plump Teutonic Order! And Two Scicilies pulling their weight nicely too!
Ever since the buff to Aristo maybe you should consider going with that when you need manpower
This is funny, in my last game I was the Timurid, expanding everywhere but failling to my subjects revolt
Good video keep op the good work😂❤
It's super-easy to join the HRE and become emperor as Nitra, so definitely do that. Makes expansion way easier.
Lol that 0 6 0 starting ruler. CEO of diplomacy
19:50 the pain is real
I wonder how austria was doing with that #1 gp spot
Yo Hawk what are you planning on for your 100k celebration? Beloozero part 2?
Finally Nitra, my favourite releaseable! Maybe as a challenge take all west Slavic provinces so Slovak culture can finally join them lol
Transoxiana in this game: I hate this monster! The Horde behind the central Asia!
700 more subs......good luck^^
Woulda been cool to go for Persia, but I think the rules are no formables right?
They definitely target the player. I had a Bavaria game in which the ottomans went only for Europe and Crimea. By 1650 they never fought the mamluks
Nitra is similar to nitre, so max out the firepower of your guns and cannons.
the moustache.. it-- it's expanding!
Overextension is over 100% 😄
Damn, shame you didn't vassalise Timmy and use its cores for reconquest
Now that you've succeeded as Yazd, go back to it and form Persia (because you've beaten the challenge) and restore the Achaemenid Empire.
If you did Yazd you also did Kerman and Isfahan, these three are 100% identical
looks like discord doesn't detect anymore when you're tier 1 (or more), coud you please fixe that ? could you also add all the saves in the chan?
some of the national ideas of all time
so close to 100K subs!!
Maybe Mushasha had seperatists and the province was ceded to Ajam trough Ajami seperatists?
Austria and muskovy looking nice and juicy in this run ngl
Hey red hawk I don't know if you're into survival games but there is a game called This land is my land. Where you play as a native American cheif and lead your tribe to fight back against invaders.
Soooo close to 100k! Haha 🎉😂
Red Hawk to 100k, less gooooooooooo
releasables have advantage of having positive modifiers from land ownerships so, goverment progress is faster.
Whilst everyone knows that konigsberg is rightful bohemian clay, a lesser known fact is that Jerusalem is rightful slovakian clay!
I don't remember but would it be possible to try and convert into a order of brewing monks (whatever the government is called) whilst snaking your way into the holy land
Snaking because well Nitra is a bit of a snake, and into the holy land because monks idk
Here's to 100k!
Hey, just wanted to share that as of Lions of the North, vassals can declare independence wars even if their liege is in another war! Sorry if its it's something you already know, but it can be super useful for becoming independent in my experience ^^
Yea but allied vassals won’t join
@@sokyu7723 because of the "fighting in a war with them" acceptance thing?
@@mikab631 yea learned that the hard way
Where are you from redhawk?:D
Holy shit what was that 1000 dev austria made of??

Mushasha declared on Timurids and Ajam declared on them also. Ajam sieges them first and Timurids died so Mushasha couldn’t be at war with Timurids anymore and thus Timurids ally Chagatai became war leader in a war that has a war goal that neither country can get the war goal.
THE BEST/WORST NATION IN EU4
-Every red hawk video
You're wrong, that would be Luristan and you're gonna meet them soon
From what I can tell with the Mushasha situation around 14mins is:
Ajam and Khorason were each at war with the Timurids for a province.
Mushasha started a war with the Timurids around the same time.
Chagatai was at war with someone Timurids was allied to, and got turned into a vassal as a consequence. This brought Chagatai into all 3 of those other wars.
Ajam peaced out first, taking the province Mushasha wanted. It is possible Ajam peaced out before Timurids became a vassal of Chagatai, Mushasha still would have been at war with Timurids even though the province isn't theirs anymore.
Khorason peaced out second, taking the last Timurids province. It is not possible that Khorason could have peaced out before Timurids became Chagatai vassal, as Khorason took their last province which would have invalidated the war if they weren't Chagatai's vassal.
This left Mushasha at war with Chagatai for a province they didn't even control.
Is Yazd where we get 'Yazidi' from?
Bump
Ah, the Persian expert is back at what he does best!
For Yazd, for Mughals, for Persia! 😎
BING CHILLING
Timurids had Dashtistan. Ajam DOWed Timmy and full occupied. Mushasha DOWed Timmy. Timmy got ate by Ajam. Allies of Timmy were left over (Chagatai et. al.)
Every time a nation turns to or revives Zoroastrianism in EU4, Alexander the Great screams
On which difficulty he plays?
Strictly speaking the desired religion must be the largest religion province wise. If there are three religion 30%/30%/40%, the you can flip to the 40% one as soon as rebels spawn.
SOOOOOOOO CLOOOOOOOOOSE TO 100KKKKKKKKKK
Nitra? ROCK AND STONE :D
"Why would anyone play Yazd"
Someone who enjoys pain and suffering 😆
What happened to nation formation
I forgot totally about this
think it got shafted because he'll form every nation anyway as he does A-Z
Hawk didn't like the format of forming a nation and then not interacting with it. He said that it wouldn"t continue until he figured something out
Rest in peace
@@heramish5029 could he maybe do some games where instead of only playing for specific set goals he does things like laith and zlewikk where they just play and maybe do a part 2,3,4 etc
If you play for Nitra, you have three options historically: either create the Great Moravian Empire. Or create an imaginary Czechoslovakia, within its historical borders.
What will happen when you will have to play one of Byzantium releasable nation?
I will play them
@@TheRedHawk I mean yeah but like : How will u survive tho?

Why is Muscovy that huge
making me wanna play in persia
If you form the Timurids while Zoroastrian, do you still get the cores on Ajam and can you form the Mughals?
I believe you have to be muslim to form both the Timurids and the Mughals.
I also wanted to write that the Mughals can only be formed by countries of Iranian culture group except for the Timurids, but I got it confused with the True Heir of Timur achievement :P The Timurids can form the Mughals, of course.
Yes
president for red hawk!

Could you add more unique secondary objectives? Being real having the same objectives makes releasables feel way less interesting
Who is Dali, what about when is Dali?
I think religious rebels need to occupy more % than your state religion has, hence why you could flip Zoroastrian while Sunni was larger with 50%
Don't lie,you were having fun so you didn't notice you already won ^^

When he did face reveal ?
Since you have Great Moravia achievemnt already, how about you free AI Moravia and make it get the achievement. If it's not too easy for you, that is.

hi
Why is Yazd so weak lol
I played Yazd in Extended Timeline mod, year 1335 under Muzafarrid dynasty, they started out in the worst position with a pathetic sultan, surrounded by neighbors bigger and will warn me not to conquest on weaker neighbors, but I found a way to get out of that hellish situation, still I have to kill lots of rebels, and everyone hates Yazd
