      @@user-hk7de3nt4q this sect do exist at present times also. Those who call themselves Ismailies or Agha khani followers of prince Kareem Agha Khan. Also called as Bohri Muslims. They are mostly in Gilgit Biltistan area in Pakistan.

    What i used to hear is Hajar e aswad was stolen by Fatimid Shia and they took it to Egypt with them for 20 years.. later Salahuddin al ayubi ( rahimuallah ) fought wid them and brought back to kaaba .. please clarify on this ... jazakum Allaho Khair...

      The Hajr e aswad has repeatedly suffered throughout history.
      The Qarmatians stole it in 930 AD. And this history is well documented. They killed hundreds of Haji and threw their bodies into the ZamZam well and took the stone with them.
      A man from the Fatimid Empire did come and tried to smash it but was killed on the spot

    Can someone explain then how can we know if we have the actual hajar al aswad if it was stolen. Could the one in the Kaaba today not be a fake? Allah knows best.

      Well it is a meteorite so whoever decided to plant a fake would have to find another meteorite of the same size and appearance. Good luck with that.
