@@subulassalam6067 if I'm not mistaken at first the guy was sitting with his side facing the sheikh and then only after the guy gave him his full concentration. You translated it as he was fully concentrating at first

Where I come from i.e. Pakistan, if a person calls upon other than Allah Subhanahu wa-Ta'ala and you try to gently guide them by providing them with proofs from the Quran Al-Majeed and Sahih ahadith, either they scorn you and try to prove that their point of view is correct by twisting the meanings of those verses or ahadith or they say that by forefathers or my peer, baba jee, maulana told us that it's permissible to do so we do so. Fanaticism can make people blind to the truth. It's a blessing of Allah 'Azzawajal that that person's heart was open for the truth.
May Allaah guide those who gave this a thumbs down Ameen!
SubhanAllah may Allah As-Sabur grant us with the same patience like the Shaykh had for this brother. Perhaps most of us have this judgmental mentality when we see a brother or a sister making mistakes/innovations in their ibadah, instead of benefitting them with da'wah to Tawheed we scorn them deep down. May Allah increase us in enthusiasm and gentleness in giving naseeha to our fellow Muslims whom we see have flaws in their practice of religion. But may Allah rectify us in our practice of religion first of all. Amin.

This is the effect of the Ulama giving personal dawa out in the field to people who really need it. Lectures are only for seekers but what about the others, outside the masjid who are not interested?

The explanation of "Kitaab Ut Tawheed" is a good book for this. It covers all the chapters of tawheed including dua. The explanation of Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen is available in English, and I believe Sheikh Al Fawzan's explanation has also been translated. Sheikh Fawzan and Ibn Uthaymeen also have some lectures on CZcams about this (translated into English).
Kashf Ush Shubuhaat is a good book for clearing the doubts some people raise against tawheed,

i have an honest question . plz reply with ur knowledge. There are many durood shareef promoting channels , they promote reciting of durood shraeef (salawat). thats a good thing .
But at sometimes they say, we can say , " Ya Rasool-Allah, nazar-e-karam on me"
nazar e karam means; a look of attention or kindness .
Is this permissible ?

Many points it has Alhamdulillah..
First,, not to takfeer quickly...
Second,, giving dawah with patient.. Clarifying the truth with best manner...
Many of us know the truth but Don't know how to transmit it..
& also,,we can not learn from book only,, we human needs someone to follow that's how Allah subhanahu tawala created us.. For that,,he sent phrophets...
Third,,,, to transmit truth,, we at first go Against his fault,, perhaps he might reject,,, but if we run slowly,, then insha allah,, he may be guided.. If the shaykh directly say that,,what are you doing,, you are doing shirk?
Then,, perhaps he might reject..
May Allah give us patience & guide us rightly....
