The first Ethiopian war was pretty embarrasing and though they won in WW1 they didn't contribute much particuarly not with the constant attacks against superior Austrian positions. Then of course they kept fucking up in WW2 and getting Germany to bail them out. Most of that was due to poor leadership and outdated equipment but still, it's left them with a reputation.
A truly incredible series, of suffering and drama. Although you did not achieve your goals of completely destroying Russia, you are technically the hegemony of Eastern Europe! And you made Poland Lithuania survive. I look forward to another series like this, it was really entertaining
This was honestly a pretty nice way to end it. It may not be "EPIC AWESOME WAR ENDS" but not every campaign needs to be that. I mean this is more fitting to what the campaign was. A final expedition to get resources, spectating others fighting silly wars, really silly diplomacy that is mostly related to getting resources. All of it fits into what the entire campaign was. Between the rise to power campaign of the Muscovy serious and the eternal struggle and suffering with a nice ending in the american bloodbath, this serious fits in nicely with it's own theme of facing issues of proper independence. Paying back money to the Elbians is probably the most fitting ending this campaign could've had.
Good to see that in the end, the PLC lives on! Glory to the PLC and thank god this wild ride of a campaign has ended, my heart couldn't take much more of it haha
The great war was a huge victory, not because of the land acquired, the peoples relief, nor the great powers concrete place, but poland being profitable

@@kevinstein1568 He beat Russia because of the Germans. Every war Spud won was because of the Germans coming to help him, and every war where it didn't happen, he lost. The economy was in constant shambles, basically 80s Iraq, and only improved with the war reparations from China. he had terrible resources, overstretched lands and in the end he lost. The only reason the campaign ended like it did was because no one wanted to play anymore, sparing them from a humiliating peace deal.
Hey dude have you actually played this mod as the PLC? Have you played it against other people as the PLC? The fact he didn't get partitioned and was conquering shit at all was because of how well he managed the situation. I have literally never had a campaign in this mod where the PLC (when played by another player or when faced against other AI) didn't get absolutely wrecked by one of Scandanavia, Bohemia, or Russia/Muscovy. He somehow finished as a GP as part of the world's strongest alliance. The chinese human waves would be annoying but nothing the Germans couldn't handle.

Scandinavia barely played a part, and Spud always had the advantage (except for the start). Spud survived because of his allies and luck, but had a terrible army through and through, only winning by the backs of his war allies, who were itching for a fight no matter what.
