speaking as a cave base main... you don't actually have to die on the drop, you can catch the wall on the way down near the top and survive with 10-20 health... this is worth being careful with before assuming it is not raidable through the drop side.
Yeah its mainly an anti - online deterrent, groups can't really raid through drop down if im online- practically suicide
and with a parachute you wont lose any heath at all
Also look into a piping system like aloneintokyo( only discovered from the vid you just did duo) did in his cave vid recently. Seems ridiculous

Willjums video are my sleep therapy. Dudes videos are incredibly edited and the voices fits all sound within it.
I gave up on Rust when it first came out after less than 90 minutes of dealing with toxic twats and got a refund. Now, after getting into these videos, I decided to give it another try, doing it right this time, learning to play on a noob server before going to a real server to experience the constant deaths. Willjum videos are a great way to learn to accept what will inevitably happen and power through it.

This is much more reminiscent of the Willjum of old, who worked hard to stay under the radar. Those were the videos which made me a fan. I know that your skills and techniques have advanced dramatically since those days, but it's still nice to see you working to avoid unwinnable confrontation while achieving your goals. Very satisfying.

That’s exactly how I felt watching this. It’s like watching your favorite show end and the cast all saying goodbye. You know they’ll be back next week, but after it cuts to black, you sit there wondering what’s next
This video hit different. Maybe because it brought back some nostalgia of a simpler time. And seeing the cave base come back again to say hello. And the ending was perfect knowing the base survived under the radar of an aggressive clan. Very good, relatable video.

With one of the recent updates, you can use the wire tool to disconnect the battery with a single right click, then take the battery, place the new, and when you switch back to the wire too, the wire is right there ready to attach to the battery. Such a great update.
I love you showed that death montage. Most of the time we as fans just want to see the W. But overall we don’t get to see that without trials and tribulations. So thank you Willjum for doing this for us. Thank you for putting in the countless hours for entertainment. I appreciate it greatly and know this community does too. ❤️

I bought this game to play just like this man. I survived a whole wipe without being raided. Had workbench level 2, guns, explosives everything you could want, even sars. My friend never got back online so i did it all by myself. After years of watching your content thanks for giving me the courage to play this hard game. As a frequent pve player I’ve done this loads of times, some servers allows for test generators, so doesnt always have to be battery swapping. Glad to see you pull it off here ❤️

Willjum found a way to make sure he doesn't get recognized in a video. Build where NOBODY can see your base.
One thing that is pretty slept on for a Cave base, is a Generator and chring a battery with that. Granted you'll need fuel but if you can fit in a refinery its an easy way to get some fuel.

i knew exactly what you were going to do to get power down there because i've done it myself. FYI, you can run a auto turret for a full 16 hours on 1 fully charged large battery. You could easily charge 2 or even 4 larges in that little starter you put outside your cave. Anyway, another classic Willjum thanks for posting
