WWII Tanks That Should Be Added To War Thunder

- People sometimes ask me what vehicles should be added to War Thunder, so I have yet again made a list of some tanks that I think would fit in the game. This time it's all about WWII tanks. I took some suggestions from the last video and combined them with some of my own ideas. I don't expect to see any of these in the next War Thunder update, but it'd be nice to see them in-game someday. In this video, I talk about the T23 HVSS, T-43, and AC III Thunderbolt.

The German luchs and sturmtiger

The strumtiger
@@kriegsmarineluftwaffe1378 Like many people have said in the past the Sturmtiger is wont work in WarThunder. If they are going to do anything with a SturmTiger it should be an Event like an April fools event or such, but as a tank in game it would have no place anywhere. If you think the reload on a KV2 with the loaders dead is long, a SturmTiger's reload with all of its loaders in perfect condition is much much longer. The only good things about it is its armor and the round being essentially a bomb with 125kgs of explosive filler, which is more than the german 250 kg bomb but less than the german 500kg bomb and can carry 14 of them. Essentially it is a flying bomb. Besides that, it will probably be less maneuverable and slower than the Tiger Is and will probably have a minimum reload of over a minute with a maximum of at least 4 minutes. And thats if gaijin decided to be nice and make it faster than what it probably was IRL, which is probably around 6 or more minutes.

@Aaron B What about Skink for UK and T52 MGMC for US?
@@astoran3147 THe T52 would be just like the M15, a single slow firing cannon and 2 50 cals, not really that desirable if you ask me.
@Aaron B They dont need to remove the M42, also, I actually like the 40mms, they pen a lot and are insta kills on aircraft, you just got to get use to them.

Personally I want a the experimental IS-2 with a 100mm gun
Apparently some of the IS-2Ms in the 1950s were rearmed with the 100mm gun (there's a suggestion on the forums with actual sources), so there's real grounds for a tech tree IS-2 (D-10T) since these apparently were service tanks. Given that the experimental one was on the 1943 hull whereas the IS-2Ms were more like the 1944, this would probably be the best of both worlds, being better and more produced.

Part of my mind was going "it's not the british tech tree, it's the commonwealth tech tree" but i instantly realised, it's basically all britain with a few sprinkles of commonwealth and even so it doesn't matter.
Why oh why is it. That EVERY Australian vehicle that either gets added or is suggest is a premium or event vehicle? The only AFV we aussies have that we dont have to spend a dime on or sell our soul to Stalin to have a hope in hell of getting. Is the bloody 2pndr Dingo. Not all of us can dump hundreds of bucks to just have fun playing the vehicles our country made!
I'm more interested as to why canadian tank and australian plane are in american tech tree? But having british tree turned into Commonwealth one with researchable tanks would have been a nice change. Especially having 17 pounder Sentinel.
@@TheArklyte i know. I understand rearranging tech trees is a nightmare. But, how many premiums does gaijin need? I know they need to make money. But this is crazy every update. Btw we added 2 new researchable tanks and planes. And 14 new premiums!!! Thats what you want right?!!
@@TheArklyte there are 4 (I think) in the British aviation tree
@@thegoodaussie1968 yeah, Boomerangs, Wirraway, Beafort, Beaufighter and two Sentinels(2 others are absent). However canadian Ram tank is in an american tree(where it's not needed btw) and Ventura bomber is also among american premiums(though I've mistakenly called it australian in previous comment. It's a RAF plane).
Jokes on u none of my country's tanks are even in the tech tree
Italy needs quite a few new, indigenous vehicles as well. A quick example would the "Celere sahariano", just to name one. On the forum there is a very detailed proposal for new tanks, with a good list of vehicles. Let's hope Gaijin remembers about this tech tree.
O magari il P30/43 bis, oppure M17/44
The P40 prototypes would be really good to have, and easy additions too. The P40 had a conventional flat front like the earlier Italian tanks for much of its development and was armed with the 75/18, then the 75/32, and only in the final sloped prototype did it get the 75/33. The M15/42 is great, but its 47mm lacks the penetration to be good in uptiers, so the P40 lacks a good backup. The flat-fronted prototypes get the same best round (HEAT) that the P40 does, and due to being worse they would fit perfectly in the tech tree between M15 and P40. Put one at 2.3 and the other at 2.7 with the M Celere Sahariano and we'd have a great set of backups for P40 that would also form a good lineup at their own BRs. The options are out there, if Gaijin wants to help Italy.
THey should also put in the new Italian heavies from World of Tanks into the tech tree too!

And most importantly bt-42 to the Swedish or german tech tree.
It should be German or Russian since there is no Finnish tech tree. Most likely German though

@@VKK-cr1uk agreed.
Personally I'd like to see the Kurassier (probably spelled that wrong) since I've never seen it in any tank game. Would also like to see less well known tanks like the Turan.
T-43 was supposed to replace T-34 not because "a number of issues were identified", but because no one planned that T-34 would exist for so long. Issues were known even before production. You should remember that T-34 was supposed to be replaced in production with T-34M in less then 6 month. Whole point of production of abyssmal early T-34 was to prepare production line, train crews and test modules. No one expected that war would start and it'll get greenlight for several years of nonstop mass production. So whatever changes were possible to adopt from T-34M were introduced over time resulting in T-34/76 1943, while majority of them ended up evolving into T-43 project before being scrapped AGAIN and evolving into T-44. T-34M had torsion bar suspension and engine that was put at 90° to hull to save space. Both of these changes were introduced into production only on T-44 which was a completly different tank.
I love how you could hear how excited he was when talking about the tanks

The 25 Pounder actual range test maximum penetration using APC/T with "Supercharge" was up to 96mm. @ 0 degrees @ 100 yards.
By the time of the Korean War, the 25 Pounder had a HESH shell issued and these were used during that conflict (Source: Retired Royal Artillery Korean War veteran that I used to know. He had many tales of "lighting up" NK T-34/85's with 25 Pounder HESH rounds).
The Aussie AC III served until the 1970's and had HESH ammunition available.
The Maus is pretty cool, hope they add it.
hmmmm
re add it you mean
Can you do whit if the r3 t20 fa-hs was historically accurate
It would run out of fuel by the time you reached the cap point
It would be move to 9.0 br
it being a 1982 prototype, it would only be useable on italian maps (So the map that used to be called Italy) and only a small number were built (i know more than 1 were made, but i am not sure if it was 2 or more than 2) so you only get 1 per team. oh and since its from the same year as the T-80B it would be BR 10.0 (if you make BRs about year and then base it around the soviets)
(and/or since it was an export vehicle that failed to get any sales, it can be used in the line up of any nation once its unlocked)
Oh god the fact that any country would be able to use it would be a nightmare
Also I think that the r3 would be a premium for any other country except for italy since it's more of a lend please vehicle
Love your vids, sir. Can't name any vehicles I'd like to add---except maybe the Lowe, the unbuilt paper project---but where's the B-26 and the P-40Q?
Your suggestions are okay problem is br compression and the grind if those 2 things can be fixed Atleast a bit then I would really suggest adding them
It's official, Skink is coming to War Thunder!
I'd love a replacement for the M16 halftrack, pls gaijin.
Knowing gaijin it will probably be at least a BR higher than the wirbelwind because reasons, but I'll take it!
To be fair, being .3 higher than the wirbelwind would make plenty of sense. You can kill a wirbelwind with MGs, you can't kill a skink with MGs.
There is a m4 sherman with 4 50 cals this should be made the same tier as the whirbel wind. Since its kinda similar.
Now that's the list that interests me
Please! Continue making this a series.

Type 4 Ho-To (Japan)
P43 (Italy)
43M Zrinyi (Hungary) but could be added as a premium to Germany or Italy
TACAM T-60 (Romania) but can be added to either Germany,Italy (not likely) or.. USSR as it was a tank created out of captured T-60 tanks.
Bishop (Britain) Absolute garbage tank IRL, but would put it for the memes
Sexton (Canada) But for the British of Course
KV-13 (USSR)
Churchill NA 75mm (British)
Is that the Churchill with the sherman gun fitted in North Africa?
@@mrmadmax4523 yes
i would like the TACAM R2 (romania) alongside the TACAM T-60
I would love to see more armoured cars, things like the daf m39 and stuf like that. I think that not only would it provide a different playstyle for the countries that dont have them it would also balance out the start of the game a bit more. Plus some people come for a quick action game which not all trees offer atm
What about one of the test beds made for the ac4, the one with TWO 25 pdr guns? It was made to test if the ac3 turret and chassis could withstand the recoil of a 17pdr. Since the 2nd gun took up so much room in the turret, it took multiple minutes to reload and the guns were fired from a lanyard pulled outside the vehicle to avoid the recoil killing the commander. I think 3.7 or 4.0 would be a fair br, since it would have an absurd amount of bang at its disposal but it would be a sitting duck if caught out during a reload. Could be a fun event vehicle.
all of them would be premium...
They’ll add beautifully designed maps but they’ll cost 80 USD

FINALLY a WW2 only vid. I want the bloody Honi 2 as a 1.0 TD. They're so many Variants of the Hago, Chi Ha, Chi He, and Ke-ni. Italy's only ww2 tank that hasn't been added is the Semoventte 149. We can fill the Italian tree with Hungarian and Romanian tanks. America...... doesn't need that much. Maybe the M24 6×50cals. Britain needs more Commonwealth tanks specially Australian/South African. Germany doesn't need that much. China has alot of weird tanks like the M10 with a 105mm and a SU76m that was made to resemble a T-54. Sweden IDK.
Frances has so many variants of the AMX-13 it's a crime they haven't been added, everything from a 2×50cal (like the M13) to a 2×40mm (used M-42 and a prototype that used the M-19) a 105mm Howitzer or a long barrelled late cold war gun. I really hate how France suffers from lack of variety while having so many tanks.(Even some South American versions of the AMX-13).
AND LASTLY MORE CARS/HALFTRACKS. Every nation has a bunch of them that could be included.

-the semovente 75/18 M42 (we have the M41 one),
-the M16/43,
-the 2 early P26/40 prototypes (with flat armour, one has a 75/18 the other a 75/32),
-the P40 final prototype (it has a different engine and turret to the production version),
-the P40 final prototype with improved engine (they wante a 410hp engine rather than the 330hp, but it was too limited so they planned to switch production latter on, some sources claim the P40 final prototype was given the upgraded engine for testing)
-the AB42 prototype (an attempt to give the AB41 better-slopped armour)
-the AB43 20mm turret (the one in game is the 47mm version)
-the AS43 armoured car
-the Autoprotetta TL37 varient with 47/32
-the AB41 47/32 (a TD prototype based on the AB41 equiped with 47/32
-the L3/35 20/65 (a modified L3 tankette with an autocannon instead of twin MGs/20mm AT rifle
-L3/35 CC (early) (earlier versions had roof mounted 20mm solothurns instead of hull mounted)
-semovente 47/32 L3 (a tank destroyer prototype based on the L3/35)
-(there is also the M8 assault tank with the 65mm gun, but it was a prototype built before the 65mm got EP or EPS shells...)
-edit: also the semovente 90/53 prototype had a different shaped gun shield with less protection
ironically enough they can't have the semovente 149 as its an arillery piece without a gunner's seat.
also the italians had a bunch of gun trucks (similar to the YaG-10) that can be added (2 with 90mm [not includeing the gunshieldless prototypes which would add another 2], 2 with 102mm naval gun [not includeing ww1 trucks], 1 with 100m howitzer, depending on sources 2 or 3 with 75mm AA guns [not includeing ww1 trucks], 1 with 65mm gun, 2 with fixed 75mm guns, 3 or 4 with 47/32, and a few ww1 trucks with 120mm naval guns which were also used in ww2 against the french forts in the alps), there are also a large number armed with 20mm autocannons of various types.
What I would like is WW2 Flamethrower tanks (although with the Flamethrower being a secondary weapon and not the primary one). Something similar to MG's in War Thunder but with the mechanics being A: Tanks with exposed crew will get their crew grilled immediately and B: Closed tanks having their crews slow cooked by the continuous heat. The Fire could also damage the engine or set Fuel or Ammo on fire if the fire is concentrated for a while on those areas.
All the different post war m3 stuart modifications, some armed with flak guns, Pak guns, and oerlikon quad mounts too
I’m fine with them adding more tanks, as it will add more variety to some matches. However if they do this, they have to reduce the grind on tanks or make these tanks strictly drop down/ premium tanks. For someone like me where I’m at only 5.7 on American Tanks, if they added that T-23 , and added to main main focus tree it would be another vehicle I’d have to grind. So I’d just be annoyed, as I said before, I’m fine with them adding more tanks. They just need to implement them properly in the game. Which they probably won’t due, Ik some devs watch these vids sometimes so I’d thought I’d put my opinion out there even though I haven’t been playing for a very long time.

Gaijin: great video mate, thanks for the suggestion
I would probably add in the 90mm M4 they were planning on as a stopgap till the M26 took precedence. Probably as a premium, probably at 5.7. The US SPAA line in the tech tree needs some help too at low to mid br. The M19 and M42 are too expensive to justify regular use, and the M15 is kind of not...good. Maybe it's just me but I hate that thing with a passion. Which leaves you with the M16 that feels more than a little lackluster in higher tier games. There has to be something they can add in that isn't awkward like the M15, or fragile and expensive like the M19.
My comment is more a wish for sci-fi tanks(within reason, ofcourse), mainly: Halo Reach's Scorpion Tank.
You already made a video on that tank, but if I had the choice between a Scorpion or a modern tank I'll got with the Scorpion 9/10 times.

A thought for some additional South African vehicles.
We have very interesting ifvs. The ratel 20 as. Ratel 90 as wheeled ifvs. Their is even a mortar version of this.
We still operate a home improved version of the centurion tank.
We have a awesome attack heli. The Rooivalk with an amazing home grown atgm ( the makgopa, on paper a much better atgm then the hellfire)
We have the G6 Rhino spg (155mm arty)
We have very interesting mrls vehicles. A small Valkyrie and its big brother the batteleur. (the latter is on a armored vehicle)
Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
But there are also so many things they could add that aren't similar looking to existing designs or prototypes - the Deacon spg using the 6 pndr for the brits (if we must put the AEC as a premium), and one of the many armoured cars with scouting and a 2ndpr as the Daimler doesn't get it.
Spookston can you do a video about
The M145D Rhino Tank *[Halo Wars 1]* vs the Terran Crucio Siege Tank *[Starcraft]?*
Here’s a couple more WWII armored vehicles that could be considered but weren’t on your list:
KV-13: An attempt to develop a “universal” tank to replace the T-34 and KV-1, much like the T-43. Only a few were built in 1942, and initial problems with the prototype and the needs of the war effort led to the project being cancelled in favor of improving the T-34. However, it wasn’t a total loss as modified versions of two of the tanks were used as the basis for the IS. I could see this being added as a premium counterpart to the T-43, with a similar BR to allow use of both tanks in a lineup together.
ARL V39: A French assault gun for which two prototypes were completed prior to the fall of France, armed with the same weapon as the SAu 40 (though iirc modified to fire shells with increased propellant charges, improving muzzle velocity and armor penetration with AP rounds) but on a more mobile and better armored hull. I could see this filling the BR gap between the SAu 40 and M10 GMC on their tank destroyer branch.
Mobelwagen: This was a stopgap SPAAG intended for use until the Wirbelwind and Ostwind could arrive in strength, though it did serve to some degree of success on the western front. It has hinged armored plates that can be raised to increase crew protection, but this comes at the cost of preventing its single 37 mm autocannon from being fired at ground targets. I could see this being added after the Sd.Kfz. 6/2 on the tree.
Panzer IV mit hydrostatischen antrieb: This was an experimental conversion of a battle-damaged Panzer IV Ausf. G fitted with a hydrostatic drive similar to (but much less prone to spontaneous combustion than) the powerplant of the Ferdinand tank destroyer. It also featured a hydraulicly powered turret, but how well the vehicle did in tests is unknown, with this one-off prototype presently residing at a storage facility in Anniston, Alabama. I’d see this being a premium or gift vehicle.
Panzer I Ausf.C: A fast reconnaissance version of the Panzer I, which saw action with the 1st Panzer Division and LVIII Panzer Reserve Corps. In addition to being extremely fast, it features unique armament in the form of an EW 141 7.92 mm semi-automatic anti-tank rifle, not the most lethal weapon out there admittedly but able to deal with the armor of most rank 1 tanks relatively easily. It'd be a decent option for a premium or gift tank.
I would love the A.C.III. Any idea where the 120mm pen comment for the 25pdr came from? I've found it really hard to find actual armour pen values for the gun, just general allusions to how it performed, which I figured would put it somewhere just over 100mm of pen.
I hope your next video will include some things to add for Japanese low tiers.
I'd like some subsections of the British tech tree dedicated to commonwealth tanks. There weren't enough of them that it's worth a full Canadian tech tree, but just having the Ram in the game would be nice
what about australia
Man, having the T23 would be really nice
I would have liked WWI tanks like the mark IV and V, the A-7V, the K-Wagen, the char-2C, the ft-17, etc. That would have been a pretty good br1.
M16 half track with the howitzer on it. That would be neat
A thing i would add to the list is the p43 heavy tank that was an Italian design supposed to give the carro armato p40 better armor and a better gun sadly wasn't made but even i would still add it to fill the italian 5,7 because the Sherman firefly is repeated twice in the tech tree with no major upgrades from one to the other more than the addition of a single 17 pounder spds
I was playing warthunder with my friends last night and we discussed this lol
They have said no to paper tanks (the P43)
@@swedishstyle9778 The P43 Bis was planned and had a wooden mockup, and besides, several vehicles in game wasn't made, not just in the German techtred
@@tirpitz177 i know. I can imagine if they add the P43 many people would demand alot of paper tanks or half build tanks. And Italy would really need a P43.
What is your opinion on the NM-116. Think it could be added to the game? Perhaps 5.7 or 6.7 br on RB.
personally i'd love for some ww1 vehicles, ie. the A7V, mark I-V, ft-17, whippet and the other lesser known about tanks/vehicles
hell maybe even a panzer 1 and other sdkfz 251-types
Spookston: *Mentions Australian vehicle*
Me: *Happy Australian Noises*
Although I dabble in WT and do like listening to the channel I do not all the topics you have covered.
Do you think there are vehicles that should not have been added to the game for whatever reason you see and would you do a video about it. Or do you think like Gaijin that everything is up for grabs and eventually it should all be added.
Do you think any of the vk series should be added (I mean specifically the heavy tanks that are in wot before the tiger)? Or at least any heavy tank before the tiger? I just think there needs to be something there so newer players can gain the skills necessary to use the heavier tanks between 5.3-6.7
What about the M24 OTO 60mm HVG? I mean it is kind of a “modern” vehicle, but it is fairly well documented, and both the Chaffee and the 60mm are already modeled in game.
Now we have AC 3, mentioning the charge bags in war thunder. the Type 75 SPH could also use charge bags because it is an exact copy of the M777 howitzer.
How about the Fiat M16/43 "Saharian" tank ? There was an incomplete prototype, but it would be fun to have another legit ww2 Italian fast tank. And speaking of Italy, there's also the "Semovente B1 Bis", which is basically a turretless B1 Bis tested as a potiential tank destroyer. Lastly, but not least, french tanks in Italian service in ww2.
A bunch of self propelled vehicles from ww2 including howitzers, like the Hummel, or su-14
Or tanks like the M728 CEV, also the remaining AVRE family.
Just to add a wide variety of fun vehicles since iam enjoying the Cent. AVRE and a bunch of others lately (besides the troll bounce one of the remeining vehicles with a working gun)
Hello, but as an Aussie the AC-4 thunderbolt has the 17 pounder the picture you showed was the AC-1 sentinel and AC-3 was again different and had duel 25 pounders
this isn't correct although it's all facts that are commonly mixed up.
The A.C.IV was never given any other name and it was in fact the A.C.III which was known as the Thunderbolt. The A.C.III that was equipped with two 25-pdrs was a testbed to simulate the recoil of the 17-pdr gun on the A.C.III's chassis. There was actually another design designated A.C.III which was actually completely unrelated to the Thunderbolt and was known as the Scorpion. It was basically an A.C.I but with three engines installed in a cloverleaf layout.
this might be because I play germany a lot but it'd be fun if they added some more sdkfz 251 variants (there was a bunch) and maybe fold the similar ones together in the tech tree so it doesn't become too overcrowded either
I really want to see the Sd.Kfz. 251 variants in game, there are over 7 of them.
We just had one with the strategist event.
The one with the pak 40 so i can sip on thoes allied tears
You not mention the StuG IV (4.3) which is a very awaited tank destoryer for a long time.
And the VK 16.02 Leopard (4.3/4.7/5.3). A prototype was maded but no gun added to it, but both hull and the turret are existed, they planned to arm it with a 50mm KwK 39/1 L/60 alongside a MG42, and there was an idea for the 30mm MK103 but the luftwaffe needed all the autocannons they can get so the idea was scrapped.
There is also the Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf. L "Luchs" (1.7/2.0/2.3), its had the almost the same hull as the Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf. H, with a different closed turret resembling the Sd.kfz 234/2 Puma turret, armed with a potent 20mm KwK 38 autocannon with a MG42
I list some Hungarian vehicles.
Toldi series, there are 3 different variation, its a Hungarian licensed version of the Swedish Strv m/38 reserve tank, but with stronger armor and better armament along with better mobility.
38M Toldi I is armed with 20mm 36M Solothurn heavy AT rifle and a 8mm Gebauer machinegun
42M Toldi II is armed with a 40mm 36M cannon and the same 8mm machinegun
43M Toldi III is armed with a 40mm 37/42M. L/45 cannon with again the same machinegun
Armor wise almost identical the first Toldi had 33mm sloped front, while the II and III had 35mm sloped front, but the sides were very weak, only 13mm on the side, on the rear were 10mm, the turret for all were the same 35mm front, 25mm side and rear
Turán or Turan for those who can't say its name, also had 3 variations, but the third one only got to the fully equiped proto stage.
40M Turán I is armed with the 40mm 41M L/51 cannon, better than the ones what the Toldi II have, not sure about the Toldi III, also armed with now 2x 34/40 AM 8mm Gebauer machinegun
41M Turán II is armed with a short 75mm type 41M cannon, cappable to shot the same German HL/B HL/C HEAT shells, but this gun had its own HEAT shells, but still better than the German 75mm L/24, also got the 2x 8mm 34/40 AM Gebauer machinegun
43M Turán III prototype, the 40mm cannons were ineffective against the soviet T-34 and KV-1, so the military needed a new 75mm AT cannon, first we tried to get the license of the German PAK40 but the Germans refused to sell it, so we design our own "PAK40", the gun was named the 75mm type 43M. L/43 pretty much the same, but ours had a bit more penetration, but the gun breech was too long so they had enlenght the turret, which in my opinion made not just more weaker but more uglier.
So the gun is the 75mm type 43M. L/43, also armed with the 2x 8mm 34/40 AM Gebauer machinegun
Armor wise almost all the same, all of em had 50mm front and 25mm side and rear
Turán III turret armor was 75mm front, sides were 35mm, and the rear were 55mm
Zrínyi self propelled gun, as i say "its not pretty but gets job done"
It was armed with a 105mm 40/43M howitzer, it was capable to take out the T-34, but only close range.
Its had 75mm frontal armor, sides are maybe 50mm or 25mm, don't know, the rear was only 15mm
One of its advantage that its very flat, maybe flatter than the Italian Semoventes, but wider also.
In the battle of Torda a few Zrínyi knock out 18 T-34s and only lose 6 SPGs, it was made the reds retreat back.
Zrínyi II, the idea was the put the new 75 cannon into the Zrínyi, non maded for far as i know.
44M Tas, only a prototype was made which was bombed at the factory.
For a fact it was similar to the German Panther, with some differences of course.
Gun wise it was meant to use the 75mm type 43M L/43 cannon, or the 80mm Bofors anti aircraft cannon, or the German 75mm KwK 42 L/70, there was an idea to fit the Tigers 88mm cannon into the turret, but the idea was scrapped fastly because political and other reasons. The secondary is the 2x 8mm 34/40 AM Gebauer machine gun.
Armor wise 120mm frontal sloped armor, 50-80(?)mm side armor, and a kinky 20mm rear armor.
40M Nimród SPG and AA, it was a very trusty machine against infantry, armored targets and aircraft all in all.
Weapon wise its had the 40mm Bofors L/60 autocannon, the same you can find on the Swedish L/62 ANTI II and on the French truck CCKW 353 AA, the gun was designated as the 36M Bofors 40mm. Dont have machinegun.
Armor wise don't expect much, its had enough armor to protect the crew from machinegun fire, but nothing more. Front plate and turret 28mm, side both turret and hull 13mm, rear turret 6mm, rear hull 10mm
P.S the rear turret armor is very small so dont expect anyone shoting there anyways.
39M Csaba armored car.
Weapon wise nothing special, morely worse, a 20mm Solothurn heavy AT rifle and 2x 8mm Solothurn 31M machinegun
Armor, uh 9mm everywhere but decently slopped so machinegun fire 'except heavy machinegun' will not pen
Mobility wise its can go 65 km/h
There is also Czechslovakia, but the comment is long as it is, so i not gonna start listing them too.
The TACAM R-2 is a Romanian TD with the hull of a panzer 38t and would be a great addition to the German or Italian tree as a gift vehicle or just a simple vehicle in the TD line
panzer 35t actualy
I agree with your assessment about adding late Cold War and Desert Storm-era vehicles. An expansion to the US tech tree with the T-prototype tanks would eliminate the over-estimated US BRs. Bring the T14, T20, and Sherman 76 back down a peg. Maybe adding an organic German tank at 4.7 would also go along way with preventing lop-sided uptiered games.
I'd like to see the Marder II, probably on of the most known TDs in the Marder series, esspecially in WoT........along with more Panzer III varients like the Ausf A
