Lesson 23: Fruits
These are REAL lessons. No actors. No scripts. A real learning experience.

I think each learner has his/ her own set of challenges. For a Russian, there's a different alphabet. Pronunciation of certain sounds like R, TH, H, W, and the vowels are also tricky. Grammar is a challenge, too. There are no articles (a, an, the) in Russian, for example.

There are a number of uses for "either."
1. I don't know the answer. - I don't either.
2. I'll post a new lesson either today or tomorrow.
3. Either colors or clothing will be a new topic.

BE is irregular. It has special forms in the present and past. But like all verbs, you can use the infinitive (to be), the base verb (be), and the gerund (being).
1. I want TO BE happy. / I want TO GO. = infinitive
2. You must BE careful./ You must GO now. = base verb
3. BEING careful can save your life./ GOING to bed early will help you get better. = gerund

For a Russian, I think it should be more difficult to learn than to a Latino.
so sweet and nice teacher . may i ask about verb BE. it is the most confusing word . what is it meaning actually . how it got so many forms . how it is related to its forms meaning wise.
thanks jennifer. what i was asking the meaning of BE dictionary doesnt helps to understand its meaning except to confuse more. we also say e.g you BE there. here we use the word BE and not its forms. should i understand that all parts of speech have also got different forms like BE has got or only verb has got different forms.have you also uploaded videos to learn grammar?
