I wanted students to try to listen without subtiles in my early lesosns. Now the grammar is more difficult, so I added the subtitles.

Ha ha! Yes, we do! We know that not everyone liked the big blackboard, so I tried out my little whiteboard. It's quieter, but it's small and not stable. We're looking into other possibilities. We are two stay-at-home mothers, and we film in Natasha's house. We don't use a classroom or a professional studio. Thank you for your patience. :)

Yes, there are differences in grammar between British and American English. You can find some resources online with lists of those differences (grammar, spelling, vocabulary, pronunciation). Try a key word search "American vs. British English." Regards!

I'm sorry this question was overlooked! This is a good question to post on my forum. I've actually answered this before. The short answer:
    1. can = present (I can dance.) / could = past (I could run faster when I was younger.)
    2. could = more polite in requests (Can you help me? / Could you help me?)
    3. will = future (I will see you tomorrow.) / would = future in the past (You promised you would help me, but you never did.)
    4. would = for polite requests (Would you please tell me?)

GUM is a noncount noun, like bread or air. Often we can make noncount nouns countable with special phrases: a loaf of BREAD, a cup of SUGAR, a mouthful of AIR, a piece of GUM, a stick of GUM.
    Does that make sense?

how woo Continue to study vocabulary and grammar, but focus on listening practice. You can use some of my playlists, like Oral Reading Fluency, and begin to learn how Americans use connected speech. Words may seem to blend together in faster speech. You may like EnglishwithStacy here on CZcams. She explains some of these patterns. Also, RealEnglish videos train your ears to here everyday speech (American and British). Good luck.
