    Hey mate just going off the service manual with oil it’s 0.63 litres, and oil and filter it’s 0.65 litres.
    The 0.9litres of oil is when you assemble and dissemble

      A little extra never hurts 😂

      Haha hopefully not, I’m assuming you’ve been putting a litre in the whole time?

      Yeah 1l every time
      Bike has just clicked 4000km on the last ride and no issues

    Anyone knows the amount of oil replacement with filter, for a wr450f 2019

  • @dchannel4281
    @dchannel4281 Před 2 lety

    I'm pretty sure the service manual states that oil change amounts are as.... only dropping the oil is 620mls an if dropped with oil filter its 640ml an you only put 900ml in when it's been full disassembled... and your putting a liter in it... an next to the sight glass there's a bolt that you are to undo to see if you have over filled it when the bike is on level ground. Over filling it will fuck it lol

    Is it true that with these enduro bikes like this 450 or specifically the wr450f 2004 model there is a lot of maintainance, or is it the same as some other bigger enduro bike like tt600r, like how often do you have to do a service like that?

    • @foordoffroad8915
      @foordoffroad8915  Před měsícem +1

      Yeah a lot of maintenance if you ride it often, service every 7-10 hours and clean air filter every ride

  • @vasfi404

    So how many kilometres max for an oli change on the wr, also do you change the filter eeverytime too? Sry I’m really amateur but I really want this bike😅

    • @foordoffroad8915
      @foordoffroad8915  Před rokem

      Go by hours not km for maintenance
      Generally 10 hours max between service on dirt bikes and yes oil and oil filter every time
      On the newer wr450 the service is every 7 hours

    Hi, how many hours do you change the semi synthetic oil?

    • @foordoffroad8915
      @foordoffroad8915  Před 4 lety +1

      7.5 hours is recommended on the 2019 and up
      The older ones are 10 hours

      @@foordoffroad8915 thank you. i think i have been spending my money with the full synthetic oil on my 2010 wr450 every 10 hours.

      You can run either it makes no difference really it’s only in there for 7 hours of work

    • @foordoffroad8915
      @foordoffroad8915  Před 4 lety +1

      Service interval is 7:30 hours I normally do it a bit earlier, air filter clean after every ride, check valves around 2000km or 50 hours, will make a video on how to when I get to that point
