I am looking forward to your review of the InMotion L9. In the meantime I have a suggestion to include an additional range test to your testing so that we can get an apples to apples comparison. Currently your range tests involve riding at full speed whenever possible, but this obviously penalises faster scooters as range reduces with increased speed. It would be nice to also include a range test when riding at 25kph/15mph as this is the legal maximum in most countries and then we can also see how much range is realistic with each scooter when riding them in the same manner at normal legal riding speeds. I realise this is a lot of extra work, but its something to consider in future reviews because customers can then compare apples to apples. It would be nice if the industry would quote their ranges in this way rather than how they currently do (15kph speed at 25 deg C on flat ground with 70kg rider and no wind) which is totally unrealistic. With cars we usually get mileage quoted on urban/56mph/75mph speeds to get a good idea of how well they perform under different conditions. Just some things to consider and I understand this may be asking too much, so no worries :=). You have the best information source and channel for anyone looking to buy a scooter, so keep up the good work.
Inokim OX is the boss Hans down....the Dualtrons are insane fast if one can handle it!
Didn’t mention the rion scooters what ru doing!!!
What about the Zero 11x it should be on number 1
How about KUGOO G2 Pro Electric Scooter?
This is one of the best comparison videos I’ve ever seen, largely just due to the incredibly useful graphics you show while discussing each model.
Thank you so much! Please subscribe, if you haven't already :-) -Paul
Your persistent screen graphic stats are well done. Good compliment to the reviews.
exept: it lacks metric system in some cases... at least more than 250k of your viewers use km/h not mi/h.... :S plz think globally, your content is good!
@ i also question myself if he did test the scooters at all.
This channel is a non-biased review destination for electric scooter reviews. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Waiting for my Emove Cruiser. Thanks for this video. The quality is top notch!
Exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you!
Wow - this is fantastic. The amount of work that went into this is incredible. E.S.G. = the definitive guide ( bar none ). Thanks for sharing all the info.
Blown away by the quality of this Video and content! Congrats ESG n Chuck!
Much appreciated, this video was 3 months in the making.
Quoting company specs ? Showing pictures and video of media releases ? My scooter would eat all but the Thunder, on a par. I could throw this together in about a day.
Richard Godfrey: Richard, what do you ride?? How long have you been riding?
Thanks Chuck! It is great to see how far e-scooters have come.
Crazy right!
From a psychological point of view it’s interesting how people tend to vote based on emotions rather than utility... The big scooters like the Wolf and the Thunder are among the least versatile for commuting and are more for joy riding on weekends but they have a much bigger emotional impact and scored the best, while some of the most versatile scooter like the etwow V or GT are not even there...
It's possible that in a majority of scooter purchases, the objective is more fun than practicality.
is it really so surprising to see irrational creatures capable of forming emotional attachments vote without putting too much thought into a scooter survey?
You're right. It's interesting. When I made my choice, I didn't want to spend an enormous amount of money. I wanted a last mile solution. It was a combination of price, weight (low), range, weight capacity (I'm pretty portly), and build quality. So with those factors you should be able to calculate a sweet spot. I ended up with a $250 Swag 5 elite. I won't know if this was a good solution for a year or so but I like it well enough.
Dennis Mathias a lot of people start like this, I started with a $350 one 6 years ago, one year later I almost put $1000 and now I have several scooters at different prices points and for differet purposes... Some people will stop at the entry level, others will stop using a scooter and others will climb the quality spectrum and even have several (sometimes expensive) scooters...
Digitalguy; The scooter hobby is an addictive one and I have gone quickly high end. I have 3 scooters at an investment cost of $7000.00 and growing...rapidly. I want a RION next!!!
Bought the Zero 10x about 2 months ago. Besides the power and comfort, I love how you can tweak and configure it to your wishes.
Mavis Vdv had one too, but sold it last summer. Not because it’s not good, because it’s too good. It’s a real monster scooter, unfortunately too dangerous in a crowded city like Vienna.. couldn’t limit myself or the scooter... always full throttle ;) stay safe and always wear your helmet on this beast!
Still working fine after 1 year?
@@Ancorarte I sold it with pain in the heart. Here in Belgium it's illegal to have these kind of (unlimited) high powered scooters. But what really drove me off was that you'll need a separate insurance for these things which wasn't in the past.
Stellar production quality... You all have made incredible improvement.
Amazing work 👍🏾💯👌🏾
Very informative report. As we own an M365Pro that my eldest loves, I bought another Xiaomi M1 Swiss edition for the youngest. Both on sale, the later purchase for just under USD400. I bought a heftier scooter with 120kg capacity for myself (103Kg)...to keep up with the kids. A rear wheel drive (500W, 13,500 MaH, IPS 54) OBARTER X1. For USD 690 (AliExpress), this scooter is IMHO a BEAST. Suspension front and rear, disk brakes front and rear, plus regen break. VG range. Hard to beat at this price, considering all of the features.
Glad my scooter made the list, 200 miles on fluid horizon, very impressed, I regularly get 25mph on full charge then 22 to 23 mph. Also 20miles per charge consistently.
I love love love that you include mileage based on top speed! Kudos to you brother!
I bought my Fluid Freeride Horizon based on this video and your site. Looking forward to trying it!
Great video. And good to see my Widewheel Pro is in the top 10 😊
Thanks Ali!
I’m a newcomer to scooters. Don’t have one, want to buy. I really like the layout of the information in the video. Thanks, I’m going to watch some more of your videos and see what I come up with. Thanks again!
This was so incredibly helpful.
Thank you, from Australia!
Happy to help! Those results were based on rider feedback. We also have a data driven list on our website. -Paul

Been waiting for a video like this for ages. Proud to be a subscriber! Thank you!
Thanks for the sub! We are always open to suggestions!
Great list very informative. I going to install some Led lights under the board to my wide wheel pro.
Yes, do it!
Hi sir how about wide wheel pro?..it's good right..
I’m surprised the varla eagle one didn’t make the list, great video keep em coming
The Varla is a Zero 10x copy actually
Awsome video format! Than you!
I still think that the perfect commuter is the Emove Cruiser. Medium weight, LONG range. IP67 waterproff, 10" tires, dual suspension
Awesome review kind sir...I have the ninebot max, and after 3000 miles I finally got something broken, the rear fender.
Crushing it with these reviews!!
Definitely preciate' y'all 4 doin this...
Chuck is truly the king of electric scooter reviews! Bravo!!!
Great review. Also validates my choice of the Thunder which is always good to see :)
Always enjoy ur videos Chuck!
Now I see why I could never order a m365 pro... i wonder tho why they aren't available in the US anymore 😕 🤔
Ayyyyye! My homie made #5 😸
Watching this makes me want a 10X next once my G30 training wheels are off!
Yea - go for it. We love the 10X geni.us/IaBkXX
Awesome job on the video, Chuck. Concise and great graphics. Thanks! Your videos are really informative
Great video with tons of information for people to have a foundation for when they decide to shop for an electric scooter. Maybe the next video could one for elite electric scooters like....Xtron, Rion,Weped and so on....maybe it can be a video of scooters of over $3000. Just an idea 🧐
Thanks! Great info!
No problem!
Love the video real world types thank you
Excellent info and review. I will buy the Gotrax ...to try.
Amazing video!
Thank you so much
Thank you! -Paul
Awesome video full of information, well done
Thanx Chuck for the video 👍👍👍
Zero 10 owner and happy with it in super responsive and aharp hydraulic nutt brakes!
Great list, rundown and on screen graphics with a great voiceover.
Suggestion for the future hardly anyone in the real world sends their scooters from 0-30mph, can we get rolling start data? 5mph to 20mph or 10-30mph
Thumbs up
Great review but I would put the Fluid Freeride Horizon over the Segway Max tho because of the speed power and suspension
This list is community chosen
awesome review guys..!!
Awesome information!
Great Review! 👍
Superb review Chuck!
Excellent guide and very pleasing so see Miles per hour being used +1
Excellent guide and very pleasing so these detail information.
Thank you so much! Already working on the next one.
Is there a top 10 for end of the year? Looking for a workhorse that has the range and handles nyc roads /weather
Can you do one on electric bicycles please? Extremely informative video
Just Bought the Kaabo Mantis Base. Super Excited right now
Do an updated list. Would love for you to recreate this video again.
I bought the Horizon based on your review and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately the scooter I wanted to upgrade to is not on the list being the Zero 8X. However the 10X is pretty high on the list so I feel fairly confident that since the 8X has a lot of what I’m looking for it will be a good choice Once I decide to purchase a new scooter.
Great to hear! Yea, the 8X didn't make the list, but the 10X is definitely a favorite for so many riders around the world. geni.us/IaBkXX
Electric Scooter Guide Thanks for the response. if you don’t mind me asking, for someone like me who doesn’t want to deal with flat tires and doesn’t mind a more bumpy ride, would the 8X be a good option? I’m Even considering the Emove cruiser for its long range, as that is very important to me, but I’ve also heard the 26 amp hour version of the 8X can go 40+ miles on a single charge. I will take a bit less range so I don’t have to deal with flat tires but you are the expert and I would love your opinion.
Great way to see the review of these! Really helped. What do you think of the Apollo Ghost 👻?
I'm a big fan of the Ghost. Amazing bang for the buck. Its incredible up hills. -Paul
Awesome quality and content
Suprised though that Nanrobot didn't make it. I own a D5+ and its specs/price value for money blows away pretty much anything
Absolutely agree. Thank you for your professionalism!
Thanks Ben!
U totally forgot about inokim oxo
I’m a thunder rider for over year now. I would actually recommend the wolf warrior over the Thunder just because it is more durable, better suspension, has a horn, and headlights. The only downside is it cannot fold up as tight as the Thunder for transport. It also cost substantially less. Same motors, battery, and controllers. Great review!
Is the q1 hummer good?
Fair play to you. Honest
I'm reading the manual for the thunder (haven't bought it yet) and I don't see it having turn signals. Does it? I refuse to believe a scooter over three thousand dollars lacks what $1,500 scooters have.
Which one should I buy?also thank you for this video I am really into this stuff👍👍👍
Edit:I am that budget person.
Great video Chuck. What scooter would you recommend for an 8yr old girl.
The video was great! In Japan, you can't easily ride an Electric scooters yet. The law is troublesome. I'm looking forward to the video! With love from Japan :)
Amazing video, thanks! Ranges not accurate but gives at least some kind comparison :-) I have the Xiaomi m365 pro and I'm thinking to upgrade to some other model with better range. Pro still going strong though...
Thank you for the good video.😎👍😍
I have recently just ordered a kugoo g booster could you please do a review on on it
Zero 8 is not on the list but it's very similar to Zero 9.
Would you recommend Zero 8 over the Xiaomi M365 Pro riding in a city?
I know they have a big gap in pricing but is the pricing difference worth paying for the suspension?
Would you be able to review the Joyor Y9S please?
Now thyat the Niu KQi3 came out can you do this video top 10 again???
Should I buy the inmotion L9 or max G30 kick scooter. Which one is better in term of specs
Great comparison .
Awesome(&Currus NF10?)
This video was based on ratings and votes, so probably not enough people own the Currus yet.
Great video !!!
Thank you!
Which is better and which one should I buy? The Emove Touring, Turbowheel Swift, or the Horizon? It's a very hard decision because they are all fairly similar.
Have you released the info collected on scooters that didn't make the list? Trying to get real world info on the Hiboy S2 or Max.
I’m enjoying the M365 Pro 2 for the first time using e scooters. Have never moved around so chillin in life!!
M365 or pro?
@@arinabolot566 pro👍
Great video 👏👏👏
Thanks for your hard work bringing us awesome content.
Very good video. I don't own one but am seriously thinking about it.
Awesome!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Nanrobot should have made the cut. I own the d5+ and love it! One of the best purchases I have ever made(I'm 40 yrs old). If your looking to find a way to commute or just get around town easily buy a scooter. You get what you pay for.
Anny suggestion for max 600$ budget for a 190 cm and 110 kg man? Was looking for the Kugoo M2 Pro or the Youping Q02. What do you think 🤔
Awesome. I currentky have M365 PRO and I really want Kaboo Mantis PRO. Sad thing is that M365 PRO still stay as my daily driver because it can survive rains like nothing. But Kaboo mantis is full of holes :D. Only for sunny days :D.
Great video, but unsure where the price tag for the Ninebot Max was taken from (that price tag is for the newer Max G30LP, which is not the one you show here), just figured I'd mention it here.
I just did a paper round with the pure air in the SNOW it survived, very impressed.
:)
Questions regarding the usage of high performance scooters like these. What do they qualify as on roads? Secondly What are the long-term maintenance cost/requirements. And lastly, how do people address the practical concerns of these scooters such as putting them in one's vehicle, going to the coffee shop/grocery store and preventing them from being stolen?
My number one scooter, is the one I own( Good review)!
Which one is that?
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide The first one on my channel as a preview
Really surprised the eMove Cruiser was rated so low. Maybe a lot of the responses were for the older model.
Emove touring makes a ton of top tens
I have had my M365 for 4 years now and i am still enjoying it. Through the years i did think of upgrading but utility wise and my usage i do not think that i need an upgrade.
Appreciation from the rest of the world for the Metric conversion of the weight and range, but will help if you also do the same for Top speed and Acceleration.
Thank you for the 9nfo
My favorite, without having tested it, is the Emove Cruiser from Voromotors. I'm looking to buy one. I just bought my first e-scooter, the Gotrax G4.
What do you choose
or E7 2022 - Without barrier
or ClassyWalk® - Performance N4 ???
I am in love with this king of electricity ride and the FASTEST thing in the world!!!
Very amazing vedio about electric scooter
I'm just kinda stuck with my gotrax XR purchase with honeycomb tires on it regretting not getting something more like the emove or fluid freeride especially with that tripod folding storage
I have just seen the one in goelectricshop, are they any good?
What's the one at the end wheel spinning with the coloured lights
Hey Chuck what do you think about joyor?
Pleasantly surprised the thunder at #1. Well worth the money if can put for a dualtron. I personally have the dualtron ultra and nanrobot d4
Does anyone know if u can attach a seat to any of these models? Thanks.
I was very interested in the Top 13 for 2021 and enjoyed the report a lot. OTOH its not a review for commuters and I would appreciate a review on ‘Last Mile’ scooters. Considering what would be important to me in particular in order of priorities for me:
Weight / foldability (I have to lift it in and out of my car and I am an older woman)
Power for hills (I work/live in a relatively hilly place, small hills but hills nonetheless)
Price (obvious enough)
Security (Ability to lock into place to fixed object and keyed on/off)
Accessories (I would like to use my scooter for the occasional shopping expedition or visit to a friend/family etc so a small trailer would be handy or even a dog trailer so I could take my small dog with me)
Tires (Not so important as I don’t off road etc but the tyres need to be puncture resistant as my previous scooter was constantly having tire repairs due to screws etc from my work commute and that got old and expensive)
cheers for the good work!
My vote is the Xiaomi M365. Never tried others because of the pricing, but this one puts a smile on my face.
Heyyyyyy my scooter made the list
I've had a Horizon since December. The design could be improved a bit (the screw-on handlebars in particular are REALLY annoying and time consuming to fold) but it's fast, reliable, and has survived a pretty rough accident involving a car door. I got the smaller battery version for $675 (black friday deal) and it's great for daily commute.
looking for a scooter with seat, any good choices pls?
Superb Kaabo Mantis! Using it for 8months now... and i what to upgrade to wolf warrior or zero 11x. What do you think guys? 😁
Wolfwarior!!
