I just bought a Horizon and found the Electric Scooter Guide to be spot on. Really happy with my purchase upgrading from a m365. I feel super secure when riding on bumpy roads with the ninebot MAX. The tires hold up well and Slime helps as well. The brakes work great, the build quality is wonderful and I get compliments all the time when out and about. I would most definitely get a heavy duty bike lock. I mostly ride without a helmet ( I know not safe) but going 17.5 mph is more than enough speed, especially on city streets. I would buy the ninebot max from BestBuy for their 2 year replacement warranty. Piece of mind for $8.60 per month for 2years. Totally worth it! Segway covers alot with warranty for 1 year as well. I have bought my second Ninebot Max and sold the last ninebot max scooter (after the warranty ended) for half the price on Offer Up with a defect (leaking tire valve). I just bought the fluid free ride and am 30 miles in. I love it and it charges fast and finally comes with a bell, it’s so damn fast and I rarely use it on its highest power setting. It’s not a beginner scooter and it has a great display, I’m super happy with it and has a lot of visibility at night. I did smack the handlebars on my head when I was folding it lol just don’t put your head in the way when you fold it. The braking was super easy to adjust with the included multi tool. I have the Horizon. Scored it for $549 earlier in the year. I love it... especially at that price. I tried the Ninebot Max and hated the ride. It didn’t have the torque or speed I was hoping for. The lack of suspension made for a rough ride. My legs would always feel fatigued even after short rides. I’m happy with the Horizon. If you're looking for range/ride quality, we'd probably go with the Xiaomi 365 because it gets almost double the real-world (tested) range of the Cityrider. However, if you want a scooter that looks built for cruising beachside and you don't care about going too far too fast, Cityrider's a good cruiser because you're going right around 16 mph. Good luck shopping! - Trina

Ah that sucks. Yeah the people at EcoReco don’t really back their product so much anymore. The Razor team back their products, but they’ve let other YT channels review their EX-R (Eletrek). Your channel is definitely more detailed and shopper focused than anyone else I know! That’s why I subbed to y’all! 😁

some comments are by company employees. ninebot has been proven to be durable. even now years after this video you would see ninebot max but not the other. this fluid horizon is the same scooter as yume s10, obarter x1, kugoo kirin m4, all are made in same warehouse and rebranded.

I’ve had 4 different GoTrax scooters and finally got a Fluid Free Ride Horizon about 4!weeks ago. I’ve ridden over 100 miles on it and it’s amazing. The charging stem comes with a screwing lock. Just be careful when charging it not to whack the handlebars or let it fall. Otherwise it rides like butter. Adjustable suspension with a turn of an Allen wrench (which they give you a small Swiss Army knife looking tool with 6 different Allen wrench sizes, flathead and Phillips screwdrivers, wrench attachment and wrench sockets for 8,9, and 10mm and some other weird key looking thing. Anyways it’s perfect to carry with you if you ever have a problem or want to adjust the suspension. As for the handlebars unscrewing on their own, I have NEVER had that problem. Solid scooter that kicks some serious ass for a good price. I haven’t done my review yet on the fluid site but I would give it 4.9/5.
The only things that they can change is a higher front headlight and charger location.
