My great grandfather was a Mayor there many moons ago. Their's a elementary school named after him. His name was Estanislao Martinez. If you ever go near that school. Can you please film it. Thanks. I'm in California
Hello, I've been enjoying your channel and I'm thinking about moving to Dumaguete in the near future. Nice house find.
Hey Ned!!
Thanks, very good video!!!
That property is truly a blessings for those who have family. The price is great too. That is paradise property. I am sure someone will pick that up ASAP.
Thanks for the vlog. Nice crib lol. I like rental views alot. Be safe my friend.
It looks perfect for a man and a new bride. One bedroom could be an office and another one for the first child. What a great place.
Totoo!
Now that's intense speculation ;)
Nice place. Thanks for sharing Ned. Bill from Michigan
I think its a great deal......love it
wow 500 cheap ,and looks great temping house, thumbs up ned,
Thanks Ned,
Nice place. This is exactly what we are looking for when we can get to Dumaguete. Love the garden area. We can't get there until local travel opens up.
We now wish we had taken that house. It's been all downhill since.
Very nice
very nice place. huge garden too.
Love it
Super Cool Video...Lovely house...
Damn why is Dumaguete so expensive? I am renting a fully furnished, air conditioned 3 bedroom in Albay for 10k per month.
plenty kano = plenty $$$
Seems like that screws it up for locals.
I love domaguete we just own a house there, it's good to see you in vedios Ned, congratulations to your new girl, I hope you will meet my husband in person You're a nice guy, I was followed your video since Michelle and you, I was a former Filipino and a U.S citizen now, I am a Postal employee looking forward to take a vacation there soon, God bless both of you.
Nice Place Ned!
Cool bean big guy. Thanks for the info.
Nice home
VERY nice
Are beds different sizes there that definitely isnt a king size?
What are you guys there doing about Dengue Fever outbreak? Using Mosquito Repellent?
finally a place that has some room
You had me sold when you said the pen is included! Where do I sign at?
Nice house, Ned! I can see you converting that garage/shop area into a modest weight room. What do you think?
This is actually a pretty good deal considering its furnished with decent appliances. House like this in Iloilo would be about 5-10k more money... and Dumaguete is suppose to be more expensive then Iloilo.
Sorry I disagree I live in ILOILO IN SABANA I rent a 4bed 3 bath ,garage all fence all furnished for 15k
@@carloscardama8052 I assume you mean Savannah out in Oton. Those houses are around 100sm on 100sm lots 30mins outside of Iloilo city. The house in the Video might have 1 less bed and bath but the rooms in that house are huge. I would say this house is 50% larger than a your average house in Savannah.
Funny you say that. Just last night I was talking to a Filipino couple from Iloilo and they said Dumaguete was less expensive (lodging and food) than Iloilo.
@@PhilippineDreams I agree in the food ..MARKET downtown and the one in Valencia ,,you can find lower prizes and some also the same Compare to fancy apartments Like the ones in DAWIN OR MARPA in Valencia , well if you want to pay over 30k up to 37 well come ,,IF you live in Dumaguete you know that ,, AND I lived there before ,, Is a lot to compared ILOILO IS A big city ,, Comparted to DUMAGUETE ,, So again all the foreigners are making Dumaguete more and more expensive How long did you bean living in Dumaguete ??
@@poultryboy1984 Yes the house in the video is larger ,the ones in savanna at list the up and down ,are all the same seize Like I told you they have 3 bedroom and 2 bath down and 1 bedroom and bath up with the Terrassa dawn also you have the laundry area or dirty kitchen and the garage , normally are all fences You can find empty houses for 10k and 15k for furnished ..Now this we are talking houses then you jump to the condos and that is another thing That Dumaguete don't have and will be long time until they finish the one in the boulevard . Yes it takes 30 minutes to go to down town ,, But really who wants to live in downtown ??I have everything I want in SM city , Iloilo Because we have more than 1 sm and also some's Robinson ,
Is the electric included in the rental. Everyone sata that island is good how is the pandemic now can I get back in through cebu?
Nice place Ned
Looks like a great house. And what it makes it even more attractive you think it's negotiable.
Nice place !
that's a nice place Ned.
Nice place. The previous renters liked it. Neighborhood good foreigners. Friends with previous renters. If you are a good Philippines type negotiator 15k would be a goal. Lot more expats and prices are rising in Dumaguete. May not be present owner but... BEWARE, must like karaoke music from next door beer drinking store from about 7 to 2am. Could have changed but what previous friends/renters told me when we thought of renting. Just hearsay so do not take as 100% accurate.
Nice house, thought you liked your current house
Great place for the money!!
How much security deposit is usually required there?
Very nice video and house. I will be moving to Dumaguete after the Int'l travel ban is lifted and will be living with my gf and her son. We would like to be near the beach or on it, in apt or house with most all amenities. Any info you have is greatly appreciated. I will be watching more of your video's as I was referred to you from a friend and also referred to another vlogger Bud Brown. Thank you and keep up the great work...
Kinda loud next to a busy street but the house is nice. Margie and I will be renting near Duma or Cebu , we are still deciding.
Doug&Margie Fit couple in the Philippines ..we will be finally in duma next month..also renting
Its better to have your own house in the philippines if you are planning on moving..alot cheaper...
I agree but make sure you do a long research about surroundings neighbours. If it goes wrong you cannot just moved out.
We've built a house in Davao and won't be leaving once we're there, so I agree with you, just need to be sure you'll be staying there.
Nice house
Anything in the 200 to 300 range finished all bills paid that u might know of
Hi Ned is the house for rent still open ? I live here inD.C.
Im interested in finding a place with a large secure and private garden to keep my dogs. Smaller house though. If u find anything. Thanks
Hmmmm, can’t understand the contact box? I assume this ones gone by now???
Cool place! Party house!
I wonder if the owner would consider selling the house??
Ned..you are a good man in or out of Pink House.
I would love to have more info.
I couldn’t live somewhere that has so many brownouts
does it come with happy ending?
I lived in the Philippines in Antipolo City. I had a nicer place and only paid $175.00 a month. Water was $8.00 and Electric is $50.00 to $60.00. The shop is nice. Inside if the TV break most will say when you move out you must buy a new one. This place is a nice place I will admit but still high.
Whaaaat!!! Moving?
Ned, you said it was in Western Dumaguete, can you give me a major intersection that is close so I can look on Google maps. We will be moving in a month or two and I wanted to see how far from Silliman University and just what general area it is in.
hi Ned...how about the pink house ....
Is this rented now?
If you plan to never leave, better to build your house.
I am moving to Dumaguete in about 2 months. I want to ship some things with LBC but I don't have an address. I will get there before the boxes arrive. Is there a storage facility I can ship them to then change the address when I get an apartment there?
ironhelm1 uh oh.. we had d same problem .we are moving nx month. But fortunately, i hav a college classmate who now lives in duma..yehey.we are sending our lbc boxes to him
If you move im all for renting your old place
Very interested
Ph25K for rental house in the PROVINCE? Wow, quite expensive. But if all those furnishings are included in the rent then it's good.
Yah 15k tops for locals..
Is this in Valencia? I’m from Dumaguete living in D.C. I followed you.?
Very nice house! I just don't understand why they don't have hot showers! They have everything else!
Great layout.... perfect for me! 555
25,000 Php to live in a ghetto right on a noisy highway with no privacy. I think I'll pass!
Subdivision is pretty noisy too, most neighbours has uncontrolled dogs and a preying eyes. For that reasons i am out too😂
ned is the best show on youtube .
Hello Ned and Chichay! Wow, are you planning to leave Pink House?
He won't want to answer yet :)
If all these places are so nice, why don't you move?
Plus they never mention the mice problems that the renter finds out surprisingly later once food is brought in the house
nice depressing dump
Nice place but too big for me. I hit the Philippines in November and will be in Dumaguete for a month in January. Is there a good online or FB site for cheap secure rentals?. Thankyou in advance.
I'm my experience the best way to find a place is to just go there and look. Half the places there are not even listed online. Even better if you have friends there to look for you cause the price might become higher if your are foreign. lol
Pwede mag pa video
+Philippine Dreams
How much do average Philippinos make per yr in wages Ned? (Professionals too?) Is R.E. "hot/active/overpriced/etc." for them (& being bought up by foreigners?) ??? @Philippine Dreams
(and those A/C units....are they any good in comp to the larger tonnage units we see in U.S. residences at cooling off rooms?)
Hi good evening
Does her want to sell this place
are you sure the pen is included? I would get that in writing
Funny.
Nice house, but 4:34 that put it over the top. I have not ever seen one with the pen included. ;P
is it me or do you move alot?
That is still a foreigner rate, Ned.. That would still be 15k tops for local renters..
Not too sure about that.
Nice place. But why oh why do they have to paint the walls green.
To show it in mint condition?
It's like a week old cat puke, so pretty.
You will find wild colors like in the Caribbean islands just the culture. And I have look for paint colors on line in the Philippines and they limited selection.
The little garage area is nice...little man cave area.
Very nice house ,,but 25k is a bit expensive , Plus for only two people to much of a house ,,,
25 K may be a little high for the Philippines, but compared to something that size in other countries, it is a decent price. It is nice. And road noise, you can get used to and in time wouldn't notice.
@@happypappy6371 Big mistake if we will compared to others country's ?? .. depending witch country you are toking ???Always stick with the comparable In Philippine .Dumaguete is getting more and more expensive for rents ,
@@carloscardama8052 That was why I said, a little high for the Philippines. But, remember, it is owned by a European. So they are also basing prices on their home country too. And some other foreigner will see that and think it is a good price.
@@happypappy6371 well everybody that lived in Dumaguete will tell you that is expensive ,,But also at this moment the ones that are making the market up ARE the foreigners that are rookies and pay the crazy prizes ..is hard to find goods pearls now , AND FOREIGNERS they keep on coming ,,Lucky for me I move to ILOILO for the moment no to many of us ,,Hope they stay all in Dumaguete ,,
@@carloscardama8052 Well that is natural for them, as they were used to paying a higher price. So, not checking on the local prices, they see that and feel it is a good deal. Which, compared to what they came from, it is.
Is it so much crime there for you to have to have bars on the windows fortified fences and a guard?
Yea bars on most houses in the Philippines.
THOUGHT THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED LARGE PANTRY....
Brother, what's it's like living in the Philippines being a foreigner? Cause even tho I'm Filipino I've been in Australia for 20 years I wanna know what the transition is like. Cause I'm thinking of moving to the Philippines.
Stay where you are if you've grown accustomed to basic amenities
I know it’s Dumaguete
, but where In Dumaguete
Candau-ay
Forgive me if I'm asking an old question.
I'm thinking about being a virgin on an old scene.
Friend of mine says that Dumaguete is in the middle of nowhere.
Almost no cell service or internet.
Please advise.
Lolz. Duma is the best. 😁
What a beautiful place Ned. I'd love living in that house, ... if only my wife was willing and ready to retire.
Nice house but I dont like the flooring.(my own opinion) Those tiles are good for kitchen.wood plank or wood design ceramic tiles would be nice to give a contrast of color in the room.i hate all white interior.looks boring
Wow expensive for pinay pinoy
Why aren’t you renting it man??
Stephen Douglas he looks at all these places never rents any of them . To expensive for his budget I guess .
Again
*Again!* LOL!
your girlfriend is so cute you lucky man Ned nice house ill keep dreaming hahha
That net is for stones im sure hehe
Tia Matte haha. Was thinking stones and akyat bahay gang
No yard for your "pup'... :( Not a King Size bed... too narrow...
I have found something very interesting. These are glasses. That you can self-adjust extremely affordable I have seen them for as little as $2. Would make a big difference inner child ability to read or see the chalkboard. The price varies. There are reviews on CZcams. Adjustable glasses. Fantastic vids you have a good day
Only rich people can afford
is this an advertisement
Horrible tiling
Clearly not safe in Duma, all the houses look like prisons, 🤣.
Adam FarQ all houses have gates on windows in Philippines no matter where you go
2 br unfurnished apartment in USA is about 1k a month !
$425/mo for 3 bedroom in ky.
about 3K in nyc
The USA is a big place. $500 a month for 3 bedroom, 2 bath in central North Carolina, 15 minutes from anything one would need. Although market rate for the area is $750.
2 bd house in Los Angeles $3500
And the salary in the US vs Dumaguete? Can you guess the difference? How many people in the US work to earn $3 a day?
Honestly, I dont see what ppl mean with nice place? To me the place look like shait, with poor solutions, psycedelic colors to a horrible price. I wouldnt rent this place for 10 k.
Different strokes and all that.
Very nice
