My name is Kevin. I hope you will enjoy my videos of my great new life of early retirement in Dumaguete in the Philippines. Come along on my island hopping trips to beaches, snorkeling, mountains, waterfalls and other Philippine destinations. WOW! I am blown away by this one! The price is good for all you get. This would be a place I would get a buddy expat to share and cut the price in half and live in luxury! Bedrooms are large enough I could have my office in one, leave the 3rd one for a live in maid, driver, anything. That workshop would become a side business since the garage is so roomy. The kitchen would be my palace with all the cooking I could do there; I plan of running a cooking channel when I move there. I'm saving this one for sure on my moving list. This is an American house in Bacong. Great find Kev!

Finally a home where they paint the outside walls. It just makes a real difference and makes the place look so much nicer.
Yes, the landlord lived in it so she kept it up very well

I think I’ll start sleeping to chickens crowing to get used to it. 😂 It’s been a few years since growing up on a farm by a railroad. Nice house. I have looked at Bacong before but didn’t have any details on it. Seems close to everything bigger but still small enough. Thanks Kevin!

Yes, I agree. Best thing about that one was location and the updates. I actually met the person who moved into that about 3 weeks ago at the beach. They are very happy with it

I'm very experienced with many many areas all over the Philippines and I've been there to Dumaguete and Bacong. I think this is a GREAT deal.. really great. I'm sure she'll rent it soon, especially after your video has 7000 views. haha. Even if the USD to peso drops to 50 again, $700 for a newer, clean, gated house, 15 minutes drive to central Dumaguete.. not bad at all.

Nice home! Best rental you have shown so far! I passed by there many times doing the Bacong, Valencia, Duma, triangle on my bike. Quite exciting to free wheel down to Bacong after the torturous trip up to Valencia. Then lots of stops if you are hungry or thirsty going into Duma from there. I bought bamboo furniture near the market in Bacong. Has there been any progress on the new airport?
No, nobody I know, even knows exactly where the airport is going to be.
Nice place Kev, as you said everything is negotiable, i could see 30, 000 peso a month if you take a long lease.

Thanks for watching Gary! I stopped by there and the Chariot 175 starts at 112K pesos, but was bare bones and no passenger seat. With seat it’s 117…so another $90. The Rusco Rupia, which I had never seen before is 204K. I hope this helps

I really like all of your videos but I really love the rental videos so I know what is available.. I especially love the outside set up so I can put my jacuzzi tub and sound system and all of my outside cooking stuff.. I love to fry all of my seafood and chicken outside and cook my gumbos and jambalaya..also love to barbecue everything especially some good barbecue hamburgers.. I am from south Louisiana and I love to cook good south Louisiana food and I love to eat my cooking listen to my music and sip on my Jim Beam..hehe..at the rear of the car on the wall look like a gate to the neighbor's property? What was that? Did the half bathroom have a water faucet in it? Thanks😊😊

@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65I remember you saying that your sister lived in Des Allemands and that is the catfish capital of the world.. you can put in at the boat launch at the bridge at Des Allemands and go right to lake Des Allemands or go left to lake Salvador and the Gulf of Mexico.. any kind of freshwater, brackish water and salt water fish and seafood that you want to catch.. you cannot pass up Spahr's seafood restaurant.. coming from Lafayette on highway 90 it is right before you get to Des Allemands bridge and coming from New Orleans on highway 90 it is after the bridge in Des Allemands..Google it..catfish and seafood gumbo and actually everything is good but the catfish and gumbo is outstanding.. they have great bloody Mary's also but I cannot mix alcohol with my food because I like to drink several drinks and then eat..not far from the restaurant on highway 90 is Frank's bar and world-famous bloody Mary's.. me and my favorite girlfriend would go over there and eat once or twice a month and I live across the Mississippi river in the country outside of a little town called Dutchtown Louisiana in Ascension parish.. I am not far from Gonzales Louisiana and that is the jambalaya capital of the world.. my favorite girlfriend died several years ago and that is when I started looking and met my Filipino fiance.. I am in my late sixties and this is my last hoorah..hehe..I'm trying to leave for October and I am waiting on a property settlement with my sister from when my parents passed away.. what is your email? I will not try to meet you when you are down visiting but I will surely meet you and your girl and me and my fiance will take you all out to eat if you like.. stay safe out there and keep it between the lines and watch your six..👍👍🐊🐊🫕🫕💃🕺🎸🍺🍻🏖️🏝️🏍️👙😁🤗😎🥂

I give that price for people who do not know how much a PHP is worth. If this was someone’s first video ever about the Philippines, then they would probably like to know that….wouldn’t you agree? If you watched a video about Paris and they kept mentioning prices in French francs, you would not have any idea how much that is in your country’s currency would you? Nope…as far as getting MORE views, you are wrong again because the people are already watching….the price doesn’t come until the end….thanks for watching though 😉
