I always wear full coverage including full-face helmet and armored jacket. I had an accident in the U.S. with a broken arm so I don't want to have one here in the Phil. Are you going to cover up from now on? I know it's hot and hospitals are probably air conditioned. But riding above 40kpm really does cool me, and I live in a hot/humid place (Tacloban). The fact is, long sleeves and long pants actually retard the evaaporation of sweat enough that it really cools you. Bare skin is less cool because of the radiation of the sun. That's why you see Asians doing roofing in the U.S. in the summer with full coverage, including on their heads!

I had the same pleasure teaching my sister-in-law to drive a Baja we purchased for her. She is now able to bring her childeren to school. The whole process only took 6 short years off of my life.

It would be hard to teach someone with no eye hand foot coordination, which the Army test you before driving any vehicle.

Remember what happened in Saudi Arabia. Teaching them to drive was the beginning of their "independence."

I also have a southeast Asian wife . A key safety factor is no cell phone while driving. Totaled three cars due to this same mistake in 20 years.
