Being a Brit I don't find it very homely but like a prison.
Yea the open area is nice the back feels a little prison like with lack of windows.
It would suit El Chapo or Pablo Escobar.
Very creative!
I would spend way too much of my life in the big tub watching the TV and having the maid bring me beer. 🍺
that would be just terrible...and scrub your back and other stuff..oh the misery! lol
Nice home. But surely need your personal personalizing if you decide to buy it. Great project home for those who love to design.
Wow what home nice place
Nice one Mr Tim , thanks Mr Ned good tour of a special house .
Pretty Nice House.
Wow, I’d feel right at home! 🇺🇸🇵🇭
A couple changes to the prison bars open the master bath add a couple windows and voila I'm home! Beautiful peace of land
I still here the rooster Ned, hahaha 😅
where is it ? can you put the coordinates up so we can find it on google earth. We wonder how anywhere is 6 minutes from the mall and on the Bacong Dumaguete line.
This is the perfect dream house for a musician who needs to be isolated all the time, i wish i could live here to record music :)
Does anyone know what compass direction, elevation, and other settings the AFN dish would need for the Philippines?
I noticed that there's no windows in any of the bedrooms are the bathroom so why when was the house built without windows which kind of turns me off because I like the light
Wow, what a place.. If you think about it, all the stuff included, 10mil is out of my grasp, but a very good price... Thanks Ned...
Where's the link to the house owner deets else? ..
Were there screens. What keeps the critters and insects out?
Exactly what I was wondering.. Any living thing on the planet cat size or smaller , can sneak in and set up camp. 😂
Just curious, what are the settings for the AFN box at this house (azimuth, compass etc)? I am retiring and thinking of going to the Philippines and if I can get an AFN box set up in the condo/apartment I live in that would be amazing. Any help you can provide would be helpful.

How much to build an American style 3 bedroom rambler style. Say 1500 sq ft ?
Wow that is a nice set up This guy looks familar he did a great job building that ponderosa thanks Ned
Interesting house with some cool features, but maybe a little too personalized.
How long has this property been on the market and do you know why?
Is this house near San Ova Beach?
Is there any land around the house, belong to the property and if yes how big is it in total?
Jorg Reiling It sits on 1600 square meters and an acre is around 4000 square meters so it’s 0.395 of an acre.
Golf clubs included?
Nice place, wonder why he is leaving? Just wonder... I really like his place.
Possibly surrounding land has been sold for developing.
Maybe health reasons...a pretty old git.
@@farangbuddha3870 Must be in his late 70s early 80s.
I'm interested
Me i know how much the price
Thank you
Nice. Really...
You could open up those rooms with large windows...allow claustrophobia to flow outside...and wafting toilet smells...
How much and why is he moving?
I love this place !
Can you buy this with a Pag-Ibig loan from the Philippines government?
Am just curious how much million is this? Seems too complicated house.
How much the price this house and lots
Nice house, but begs the question why move?
A great house but over the top as another comment said like a prison but iff you got the money why not
I like it did you sell it yet
Sold
Why aren’t there any windows?
The entire front of the house is open to the outside....so all of your daytime actiities are almost like being outdoors.
The back of the house is bedrooms and workspace. Windows means light...heat...and more access to unwanted guests. This is the Philippines and this home is built for security while you are there and most importantly security when you are not there.
Its amazing! 10 mil. Php is ...5 mil USD? I want to know what Tim does for a living? I will just do that. Huhuhuh
$200,000 USD.
LA light switches are a deal-breaker. LMAO
Even the Maid has it Made!
needs a swimming pool, grotto..waterfalls..palm trees..Playboy Mansion ..#1 rule in the Philippines..never invest more than you can afford to walk away from..stick to renting..avoid at all cost being stuck in the Phills..
Playboy Mansion had cockroaches outside, worked at Warner Bros. security Hugh Hefner and his movie star friends had Warner Bros. films and projectionist and a security officer to escort the film. And Hugh Heffner hire a chef to cook. Had Beef ribs. Ate while I sat in the kitchen good overtime pay. Oh, and no Play girls.
Surprise house was kind of old Holmby hills,
Rocket wise decision
Ned, there's your house. Get it..great for your growing family...
Nice house ,but its a lot of money for a place with no pool, the bougainvillea is a good idea, nature's barbed wire
Nice house.
Would not need any Bougainvillea if Gregory was still around.. ;-) #HisTiger
When I see this my thought is who is the legal owner and what the issues would be
Agree, unless this was bought with fun money that he can afford to lose
Yeah, who really owns the land?
@@celtosaxon loose? He is asking for 10M pesos mate. More like making quite a good penny.
@@Once800- - Why do you even ask? The amount of times he says "We" and even dates it with "back when WE had maids", along with a number of other verbal cues suggests that he's been here a long time and is quite possibly married to a Filipina.
When you have your wallet out and are interested, I could see wanting to know... But until then, it just sounds like your fishing for a conspiracy.
common logic I’m good where I live.
house is nice but it doesn't feel homey..
Hmmm not my style of house not a fan of the layout. nice block though.
I sent you an email. We may be interested in your house but not yet, Maybe around the end of 2021.
i like your videos exept this is probaly just me but the gum chewing is very annoying other than that i like your videos
Whaaaaa?
I thought that foreigners can't own property in the Philippines?
Yup. We all know foreigners cannot own land in the Philippines.
@@PhilippineDreams you can if you have a wife, its 60/40
yes, your correct. I wasnt thinking that way, as most woman there marry foreign men, not the other way around... but your right..
lease it.. 50-100 years
Foreigners can own condos & leasehold properties, just not freehold. Technically a foreigner can own the physical structures on the property, but that can be difficult to separate. You could also loan your Filipino spouse money to buy a property, such that selling the property is contingent on paying back the loan - but this can be very difficult to enforce.
Nice place and house, indeed. Also Tim seems like a good chap and I enjoy the good spirit of this video. Now, for 10M? I wonder what is gonna happen when the foreigners switch to the next "retiree meca" and the locals are left with this biiiig housing bubble. Prices are getting ridiculous around here...
Greed, and the rich foreigners have fecked it for everyone by tripping over each other to buy this land that was worth nothing 10 years ago.
what a house.
I’d be willing to bet the reason he’s leaving is because he’s smart.
Maybe there building a Rooster farm next to him.😂
@@samual3006 google bacong airport

How nice for you.
Meeeeehhhhh. It's alright...
How much?

@Cat Dancing - For someone working on a "Negotiable" deal, you sure are giving a lot of info throughout this comment section. ;-)
Where’s his wife?
Divorced
Wah.the walls looks like the houses in the state.rough finish which I dont like.the design of this house is not to my liking.
The question is why? Why sell? What is going on either personally or socially that someone would be willing to take such a huge loss? Why give up so many prized possessions? Is it a change in his financial situation? Is it for health reasons? Browsed his web site. It does not give any reason for the sale. Feels like something is not being forthrightly presented. And the no foreigner can own property in the Philippines law? If I were to spend $197,000.00 on anything I would insist on knowing every detail, no matter how seemingly minor it may be. In fact after watching many videos about living in the Philippines the more I am swayed to move to Panama. Not because of anything indigenous to there. It is all the white foreigners moving there. It is as Geronimo stated, "There is no paradise white people will not destroy".
No thank you, so many negatives, including the price.
Not for me. lacks any kind of warmth. Also, seems quite lonely and i don,t watch much tv. Paranoid house living
Number one can you stop salivating over the house LOL. Number two Nice try at the Mandolin (Actually I don't blame for taking a stab at that :)) I'm surprised you didn'r see that sons of anarchy leather vest that compliments his motorcycle (just sayin). You missed the Charlie Sheen reference with the jetted tub and the TV from Two and half men (ok I admit to watching every episode my bad :)) Just needs razor wire and surrounded by a mine field and a good old 50 cal machine gun on the roof, totally kidding.... This house is so cool, I can't imagine what the price would be except that some lucky millionaire might get it soon......Great job on the 2 part video really well done cheers from the land of the sleeping giant. :)
It's 10 million Philippine pesos, or $200k in dollars
@@robinlrice - Actually about $198K, but it's been on the market for 2 years and is listed as "Negotiable"...
People can say what they want about the price of homes in the Philippines, but IMPORTING all of that furniture, appliances, etc, doesn't come cheap. Construction (When you are a Westerner) isn't the cheapest. I can't imagine what that guy has into the place.
Homes in THAT location aren't exactly the "Cheap as dirt, Filipino Living" dwellings that we see on these vlogs either. Depending on your location, some homes with Western amenities in the Philippines are marketed at similar rates as the U.S.
If this is the life and location that someone REALLY wants and this floor-plan works for them... I think $175(ish) for a turn-key home with incredibly extensive (and expensive) security is a real deal here.
@@_Common_Logic_ I never said it wasn't a bargain. And i know about importing stuff, paying duty taxes & freight isn't at all cheap. If i was able to drop everything here & fo live there, that's the house I would be buying...
@@robinlrice - Not sure how you took my reply, but I was only adding to what you said to the O.P.
That being said, I think whoever buys it would need to be an existing resident or ex-pat who's been here a while...
Coming to the Philippines without an existing circle of friends or family would make that place a desolate fortress when it could actually be a slice of paradise. Privacy is one thing, but seclusion in a new country really narrows the target market down a bit.
That place is definitely built for entertaining and it seems the owner has had a pretty interesting life... If those walls could talk... An "Elephant trainer"?... WTF? ;-)
@@_Common_Logic_ at 1st I thought you had misunderstood my o.p. by your stating what a great deal it was, & the import phrase. I wasn't really too sure what you meant, but no worries,.we both know it's more than a bargain. I wouldn't mind the isolation & seclusion,.as that's how I live anyway, and enjoy it! Also, a Philipino citizen could buy it, or any American who married a citizen. Actually, there are pinay wives in my family, so if I really wanted it, I could just have a trusted family member (married to a Filipina) put it in their name, while I lived there for the next umpteen years, or so, get a maid,.& maybe marry her, then getting it transferred over to "our" names...
There is a large American population In Dumaguete, so making friends wouldn't be hard to do. Also, Filipinos are quite sociable. After 2 or 3 house parties there, I'm sure I'd have plenty of people to call friends..
Too bad I'm not able to just pick up & leave, that house is doable for me, and the extras make it almost too good to be true! Deffo my kind of house! Floor plan not exactly to my 100% liking, but with a few changes, it would be fantastic!
Does not look like a house, more like a dungeon with no windows. If I was a lady, I would not feel safe here. Suspicious on this dude.
Just remember that Foreigners CANNOT OWN LAND IN THE PHILIPPINES - So you're basically have to have the title in your girlfriend/wife's name. You can own the house, just not the land. Ever consider that? relationship heads south? And then you're stuffed.
Great place to live but not to buy a house - apartments can be owned by foreigners though, that's the only option where you won't lose if something happens with the better half
As I commented in Part 1, This is a Bargain at 10M pesos!
I wish I had an extra 10M =(
You probably don't 10 pesos..hehe
The materials things inside is what i love but the design of the house is look like a dungeon for lonely lover's ..sorry to say.
Ned. Please. Please. Please. Change your intro music or remove the intro. It's so worn out.
Nah.
@@chriscross9505 of course you're gonna support what he's doing because it's nice to. But I've been listening to that scratchy guitar intro in his videos for several years now. I look forward to the livestreams because I know it won't have that annoying dying cat at the start
No, don't change the music. I'm still accustomed to it when I hear it. I think of Ned's Channel or Ned, LOL.
@@artofverity8791 Awww 😥
Nope, leave the music alone....its perfect for his channel!
"Foreigners can't own guns in the Philippines"...they can't own land and houses either 😃😃😃😃
But their WIVES can... 60/40 split... Your point?
I think you need to better educate yourself because you don't know what you're talking about.
