Here's wishing Hollie a speedy recovery.
yes please, she seems nice.
I think that Janelle does awesome and is a quick learner. Janelle rocks! 💯
100% agree!
Rudy have you figured out she is a permanent keeper?
Any one of us would be lucky to have someone like her as a helper.
Both you and your dad know how to pick good women.
@@stevecowdery351 I agree with that , Jaymie and Janelle are awesome ladies! 👍
Janelle, no need for explanations, we can see you're giving it 100%. And frankly your learning a lot real fast.
I was going to say the same thing. We see the effort and that's what counts.
Rudy, you are dialing in your tube bending skills quickly.
Super impressed with Janelle's willingness to tackle new skills. She's a keeper.
My exact thoughts, loved her reaction to the plasma cutter.
I feel sorry for Hollie, but glad Janelle could finally work one the project and not break any rules. Rudy is going to need to be a little patient while she is learning the ropes.
Hollie's experience crawling on the trail will be missed, but Janelle is a more constant source of support. I am looking forward to seeing the rest of your build.
Rudy and Janelle...what a great team. Communication will get better for sure. I am so sorry to hear about Hollie. I wish her a speedy and pain free recovery.
I think what Rudy meant to say to Janelle is, "Thank you for helping me install this transfer case. Without you, it would have been impossible...". She rocks!
💪
Haha! He’ll realize that but only after she dumps him.
Janelle for the win! Now you can have someone to help all the time that isn’t popping in and out of the shop
Janelle, don't feel bad. Sometimes we gearheads assume that everyone else understands our terminology. The same thing has happened when I need my wife to help me with something. I found that if explain to her what I need and how to describe it before starting, it goes a lot smoother. Are you listening Rudy?!🙂
The problem I had with working with my wife was that if I didn't say "please" with "get me the drill", it didn't go well. I was used to working with an apprentice and we didn't have those communication problems.... Took most of the day to get in the habit of that one.
Just the fact that the two of you can work together so well, and under pressure, speaks volume for the quality of your relationship and the respect you have for each other!
I think it is pretty cool that Janelle gets to jump in and help. In your last video it looked like she was chomping at the bit to get in there and do something to help. Also from past videos she has proved to be a great help to you. She is willing to try almost anything and knows grease and grime wash off. Best of luck to you both and to Hollie.
I think somebody needs a transmission lift.
Dude. The whole time I was watching that I was thinking the same thing. Ef everything about lifting and trying to shimmy that behemoth in to place on pure arm strength while trying not to crush yourself or partner.
I was impressed with Rudy's strength, but was thinking the same thing. When you get old like me, you are going to remember doing some of that crap you shouldn't have done.
I think someone is skipping breakfast. You need to eat the most important meal of the day!
and a press
And the slly thing is that they are hardly expensive. A Harbour Freight one is what, 200 bucks? I use mine a half dozen times a year just in my home shop.
Janelle rocks !!!! Her directions were spot on, but in a stressful time, can understand your ability to be frustrated. Best to you both, and best wishes for Hollie
he better not let her get away
Don't sweat it Janelle, the fact that your out there helping and trying says volumes about your charecter . Rudy you better keep ahold of Janelle she's a keeper.
I’ve been there, struggling at the limits of your strength and the other person isn’t reading your mind!! Please respect Janelle. Talk about the task before you start, that way you’ll both understand the help you need from each other.
Yes we are all sorry for Hollie's injury but you have Janelle and she seems to be very capable too. Thanks for the video.
Get well soon Hollie! Rudy is one cool fabricator and mechanic! Good luck Janelle & Rudy!
You should bend a new brace that goes around the driveline so you don't lose any strength in the frame when it twist. Just a thought, awesome job on the RAM.👍👍
You are so smart and Janelle is such a great helper! Sorry about Holly. I know it will kill her not to be able to help.
It sucks for Hollie. I do feel bad for her, but it's still awesome that you will get to partner with Janelle. Just work her hard, and make her earn her spot - lol. I'm kidding.😅
Best wishes Hollie. Folks lets vote for Rudy and Janelle, remember these two young folks are competing against teams with decades of experience! Rudy and Janelle you have earned our respect and votes!
Love seeing ladies work on vehicle's and she looks like she likes doing it. Great job Jenelle hope to see you more on the videos
It’s unfortunate that Hollie had to withdraw but Janelle is an awesome addition! Mad respect for this team!
Have always loved seeing Janelle with you man. Love Holly too but good move. Janelle rocks as wellllllllll 😊
Janelle gives awesome directions. It's awesome seeing her in front of the camera more and wanting to help and learn
Never even heard of a doubler until watching you and your dad. Love watching you work, always “can-do “, engines, suspension, structural, Keep filming buddy
Best Wishes for Hollie to get well and strong and pain-free soon! And Janelle is terrific with a real positive outlook and a getting things done way about her. :)
Your knowledge and ability at such a young age is nothing short of amazing. Very encouraging for our future generations. Glad to see your lady involved.
Give our best to Hollie!! Rudy your pulling out all the stops on this build. Every build gets little more involved! Awesome video! 👍👍
Whishing Hollie a rapid recovery, Hope she's doing well. :-)
😇👍
It’s a bad situation but as she said, she’s going to be ok.
You got this!
Congrats to Janelle for the official capacity. #HigginsWins
I understand holding something very heavy and then getting instructions that only they understand. On the up side atleast they are helping and trying to the best of their ability . It’s just frustrating when your arms are burning and it’s not being fastened or fitted.
Rudy, I really respect your ability to envision a solution, draw it, cut it out, and weld it in place. And to make an entertaining video of it! That's a pretty rare combination of skills. Love those Torch blades. Metal cutting blades on my sawzall were useless before I got a package of those. They last so long, I'm still on that first package! You need a transmission lift. We don't need another fractured back. A little hint: To drill holes that must be tapped and fit in an exact pattern use a drill press. Drill the first one, and then tap it using the drill press or a lathe. Then bolt your pattern piece down tight to drill and tap the second hole on the drill press. Tighten that bolt, and you have a perfect guide for the rest of the holes. Then the only limit to your precision is your plasma table.
This is your best episode to date. Old school wrenching and fabricating. Janelle will be a 3rd hand for you. Knocking out the small pieces as you go. Perfect arrangement happening here!
Man Rudy, you are one skilled fabricator. I appreciate your abilities to try things out and usually succeed. I'm glad you have Janelle on the team full-time now
Janelle and rudy make a grate team Janelle's willingness to tackle any think and rudys can do attitude are a force to be reckoned with winning team
Rudy, Glad you didn't throw in the towel after Hollie's back boo boo took her out. Matt and Jamie didn't raise no quitter! Janelle, it's so awesome that you stepped up keep the program going!
Wow it's a cool thing to have your lady helping you before you know it she might end up building her own 4X4.
I thought Janelle's instructions were outstanding. Good on you for stepping up.
Great having Janelle involved! Hope Hollie recovers quickly
Glad to see Janelle officially become part of the team...it's about time! Go Janelle!
Don't yell at your help. You gotta give them good instructions on what you want them to do. Janelle is awesome help and you really gotta remember she only knows what she knows. Anything she doesn't know is on you for not telling her what you wanted.
Janelle, you're doing great...
No need to apologize, you are going to be a great off-road mechanic in no time...
And your explanations are funny and entertaining...!!!!!
Great to see you getting your hands dirty...!!!!
Keep up the great work....!!!!
When giving directions especially off road it is always driver or passenger. NEVER left or right. You know this Rudy
Janelle, keep kicking butt. You are doing awesome!!
Keep it up.
Janelle is a great asset to Rudy in the shop... It's hard to find someone as willing as she is to help any way she can and to learn new skills (not to mention get dirty in the process)... you're a lucky man, Rudy!!
Had already heard about Hollies accident but I pray she heals fast and everything is OK and goes the best it can for her!!! Get Well Soon!!!
Rudy you need some jack stands for installing those babies. Less work and stress on you and easier to line up. Just a thought .😳👍♥️
Awesome .. glad to see your back in front in the Comp..
I’m excited and happy that Janelle is your partner in this contest. Janelle keep Rudy in line and this is your time to shine, Im supporting you on this venture
I am so thankful Hollie is healing and hope she has a speedy and complete recovery.
It is encouraging that you have a helper in the wings. Janelle will give it her best and that will be good enough.
Go Team RAD!
Nice rig Rudy. I hope you win. You have good help. Great of her to step up. Give her a big hug for all of us. She deserves it.
Ruuudy! Take it easy on Janelle. She is a gem and you need to be patient with her.
Janelle is America's girl she is freaking awesome ! Holly is in our prayers
Nice job getting that doubler installed! Truck and Janelle are coming along great, both are keepers!
Sorry about Hollie, nice that Janelle is helping. You go Janelle, great job stepping up. Would love to see you more in the videos with Rudy.
Janekke, Girl you tha' bomb. Your willingness to learn is great and work ethic is phenomenal. Remember, No Fear. Keep pushing forward, Henry Ford said it best and I am paraphrasing, "If you think you can or you think you can't. You are right." Rudy enjoying the build, good luck in the race.
sorry to hear!... hope she gets well soon!
Don't worry Janelle, I didn't know how to start a plasma cutter either, till I was 45, 6 months ago. 😂
Janelle you rock we all need to learn never apologize for learning
This content and the way it is explained to us viewers is top notch:
Meeting unexpecteds with creativity is educating, inspiring and entertaining combined.
Kudos!
Great progress. Kudos to Janelle for stepping up. I will warn these kinds of projects can stress a couple bigly. Things may be said in the heat of the moment but at the end of the day, tell each other know how much you appreciate them.
So sorry to hear about Holly nothing but good vibes for her😊
Man, your skill just blows me away. You're very good. You must have been doing this when you were a child with pops, lol. Take it easy on your babe she's learning too 😂. I would be right with her.
Rudy I amazed at your knowledge way beyond your age!!! Go team Rudy and Janelle!!!
Janelle, you are doing great. Especially for someone who has no real mechanical education or experience. Just keep watching and learning and you will get it quickly. I'm impressed so far, keep going. I'm sorry to hear about the situation with Holly, that sucks in so many ways. I wish her a speedy recovery. Rudy, just keep going. You are doing great as well.
Disappointing to hear of Holly's injury but delighted to see more of Janelle becoming a key part of RAD. Treat her well Rudy, she is a keeper I think! Were I 60 years younger I would like to know her better.
RUDY! Good morning! Hugs to Hollie , I hope that she heals quickly!....... And YAY to Janelle!
Lucky 7! LOL
@@richardthomas1743 OK, just for today......just don't start expecting to get it on a regular basis. tee hee
@@JanelleVocate-Ames 😁
Janelle is awesome. Here I am putting off projects in my fully equipped shop with lathe, mill, welders... meanwhile Rudy is getting it done in a pedestal grinder that he has to chase around!
That is a beast of a t-case...in my experience the trans jacks are helpful, but there is still a lot of brute force required and sometimes the jack just gets in the way, so i think Rudy installed it the best and fastest way...also, I've been blessed that my wife helps me with my projects, but I do lose my cool now and then, which is never a reflection of her skills, but more a reflection of my passion getting the best of me...Janelle is doing great...when it comes to wrenching attitude and aptitude are everything...Rudy is a genius when it comes to fabricating and has an impressive set of skills...so to Rudy and Janelle: you guys are awesome, thanks so much for sharing and taking us along on your continuous adventures.
Machining? Naw, I have a grinder! You are definitely your fathers son!! Love it. Lol.
It’s mind blowing how much knowledge and skill you have at your age mate, your oldies are proud as hell i am sure.
You could have used a piece of pipe , cut in half on the cross member that you cut out , to provide clearance for your front drive shaft and retained the strength of that cross member. I think it would have been very strong.
Love seeing JANELLE working in shop
Janelle is a great addition to your channel in my opinion...👌
I do not like the fact that Holly got hurt, but i really love the fact that Janelle is now your partner. Lucky you ! 1
Love how Janelle is always willing to jump in and help!
Congratulations and mucho encouragements, Janelle!
Rudy you need a transmission Jack to help with heavy lifting before you hurt yourself!
OH no, I hope she gets better soon
🙏
Janelle!!! You go girl!
Just a tip to watch out for when working under a vehicle, it's quite dark under there so a floodlight would help us see what you're filming, but always try and have the light behind you to prevent the view being washed out by the light, this includes filming towards doors and windows, good video, very interesting a gearbox lift/support would be useful for you too.
Wishing Hollie a speedy recovery!
You and Janelle are awesome!
Janelle is a keeper, Rudy... you look after her and talk to her with care.😊
janelle, just keep working on it. when rotating always try and use clockwise / counter, that will help. Good to see the ladies helping out.
Talking together is what people are worst at. Speaks when we have tried for many thousands of years, that war still exists because poor communication or non-existent communication. THIS IS GOING TO GO FINE AS A COUPLE 💪👍
Janelle's awesome. You should teach her to default to "clockwise" and "counter-clockwise" when directing rotation. She should blame her teacher. Hahaha
Janelle, you are a rock star. One hint of rotation, think of an wall clock, say clockwise (rotate to right) or counter clockwise (rotate to left). I had to laugh, Rudy talks about smelling gas and then we see sparks flying. LOL. Great build
no fault found Janell every situation is different so we're all always learning. you're an amazing companion and Rudy is lucky to have a gal who shares his passion as much as you do
Be nice to Janelle I don't think you understand how lucky you are to have someone that likes doing the same stuff you do. No need to explain Janelle we all know you are awesome❤.
Hang in there you two! We are pulling for all three of you
That’s awesome y’all are working on this together. Communication will improve. I remember my wife helping me replace a transmission so I could go to work the next morning and our commo was lacking 😅but we got it.
Sorry to hear about Holli my prayers for her recovery 🙏 Janelle is a great partner for you on this project she'll always help her man ya got a good girl Rudy make sure to tell her that maybe off camera tho y'all are young we don't need to see that lol, great job getting that doubler built & installed thank's for sharing ❤😉👍
Nice work Jenelle. You are great help. When giving directions think clockwise, counterclockwise, left, right. Keep up the good work. When your team wins you too can claim the victory 😅
Sorry to hear about Holly's mishap. Take the time to heal.
Good learning opp opportunity for Janelle in the shop and event.
2 weeks to go, chop, chop, weld, weld. Finish soon, test evaluation, debug and improve.
Respect your strength and ability to man handle the gear boxes and other parts. On the trail that is necessary. In the shop you need to get or build a jack for such operations. That will enable you both to communicate more comfortably and lessen the stress. Having a willing and capable working partner is something I have never had and now I'm old and feeble and have to use mechanical aids for almost everything. Looking good on the build !
Rudy, Gotta hand it to both of you, you make it look easy, but I'm sure the home work you guys do is grueling! You guys are Rockin this!
Y’all are a great team and will do well together!! Respect and trust in each other!!
