How about the shop rag trick? Feed a rag into the gears and rotate the pinion with a wrench while bearing caps are off. Carrier will pop out!

trying to explain gearing (higher, lower, etc) to a buddy of mine, I landed on this: bigger number, slower it goes. smaller number, faster it goes. That's when it clicked for him. lol

So I'm in about 13 minutes (tail-lights) and I now see just how vulnerable the tail-lights on my 94 Suburban are. Yikes! Edit: I really like the RadCharger, you did such a good job on the paint and fab on her! A LOT of other shows on UtahTube never paint their projects, but lately I'm noticing an uptick in painting and I applaud you for starting it all Rudy! Good Job!

Rudy, the Ram Charger, well,... She's a fat girl. Her Butt will always be "touching" stuff. And changing out tail lights will get increasingly difficult to A. find, and B more and more difficult to get kinda sorta lined up to bolt them in. So, in all your know how, build some protection for them! The Carb, well it sucks. They all do for extreme off roading. I'd say, put a Holley fuel injection on it, but I think you tried that, but a quick easy fix is put a Chevy Throttle body set up on it. Cheap, easy, and auto parts stores usually have all the parts to fix or rebuild them, and as I know for a fact, they work great!

I'm guessing you figured out that there is a set amount of oil that should go in the shock rather than filling it to the top lol

That Ramcharger is running super rich. You can hear it loading up, not to mention the black smoke coming from the exhaust

FINALLY! I love the Radcharger. I have an 85 Ramcharger I'm working on trying to get going now and other than paint, and the roof rack stopping before the back, the Radcharger is kinda like the blueprint for what I hop will be one wicked machine. I already have a 360 magnum swap with a sniper and some other little fine tuned bits. Set up for dual batteries to power some accessories and plan on taking it on some road trips as my daily/trail rig. We need more Radcharger content!

I know everyone is in love with Holley injection but I have messed with both and the Edlebrock ProFlo4 is far superior for the money. My guess based on how its running is its FItech. ProFlo4 has Multi Port, Timing Control, Throttle Body and Intake for 2 grand and runs like a top. All tunable from any smart device with bluetooth. I don't know if you have Sniper or FiTech currently but both are super old tech and problematic compared to the ProFlo4.
