I guess I need to keep looking. The stock body similar to other 1/10 scale trucks like the Granite, MT10 or Traxxas Bigfoot are about the correct size for a monster truck look. I tried going with a F250 body from JConcepts but it just doesn't have the look I want. Honestly the F250 body is perfect scale for this chassis but it just doesn't look as impressive. @@deanmachinerc3258
Awesome truck brother!I got me a Everest 10 and I love it! I installed the reverse steering kit, you wouldn't believe the difference in maneuvering between stuff with reverse steering.. I had to go brushless so I got the Hobbywing Fusion quickrun SE 1800kv and my transmitter is RadioLink RC6GS v3. I bought a chassis from a guy on Etsy. Also got some shock keys. Now my E10 is just about unstoppable! Oh yeah I also got some wheel spacers 22mm I think now I got a good wide foot print. Did you take out the foam tire inserts? I removed them in my stock tires and man it made a world of difference. I also replaced the lockers and I have a steel spur gear coming. I saw a SCX 10 chassis kit and man is it nice I'm wanting to get that next and build it.
Nice looking rig ! I just bought one ,it's in trunk of car ,gotta "sneak " it in tomorrow, lol. Gf will be at work ,cannot wait to to do some mods ,I usually build tmaxx nitro and wanted to get domething electric ,after watching videos this one looks to be the best intro into crawling .you did a great job with this one ,great looking body ,you are correct that they take to much off the bottom of oem shell
Its a fun platform to upgrade. I bought mine new and removed the stock brushed system that they all come with and I’ve made multiple upgrades and changes to it since.I hope you enjoy yours as they are really capable right out the box stock even. Thanks for commenting friend, stay cool and RC On!
The E10 is a great platform to work with. I enjoyed all the different looks mine has been through over the past few years. I have posted several videos with completely different looking E10’s but honestly it’s the same one I’ve changed many things even brushless to a brushed oversized 590 motor on it too. Enjoy looking through my E10 videos I have several.
@@elias38 I got the body not long before I recorded this video just over a year ago from a seller on eBay. The top lights were simple to install I used a reamer and made the holes for the screws which held the mounts in place. Thanks for commenting friend!
Yes I drilled all the holes in the angle iron and used small nuts, bolts, and lock washers to hold the angle iron frame together. I used the factory drilled holes on the bumper as a guide to match where to drill to mount the bumper onto the angle iron. Also used where the hole to mount the original shocks onto the original frame as the holes to mount the angle iron to the original frame. I hope I made that easy to read! Thank you for asking!
Hello! Well I mounted the bumper onto a frame that I built out of aluminum angle iron I purchased from lowes. I connected the angle iron onto the original frame right where the shocks are connected to the original frame. That also allowed me to mount the shocks straight up and down and also install much more supportive body mounts.
The truck looks cool but you didnt really show what it could do. Those tires work great in dirt and mud but not so good on the rocks, if you want to make them perform better you need to sipe or cut the lugs so they will grip better. love the look of the truck though. Check out my tire test videos here on youtube if you want to get a good tire for that truck.
Thank you for the great advice! I honestly use this truck on trails and not as much as a rock crawler. I figured the tires would be adequate for mud and driving through streams.
Wow that's an Everest ' to cool nice work there brother
I would have never thought that’s an Everest 10 if you hadn’t said it haha sweet looking truck for sure
Looks cool... Nice trail truck
Wow that body and tires look awesome. 👍 Absolutely perfect.
I like how you attached a front bumper to your frame.
Thanks! I wanted something sturdy and it works well!
Where did you get the body? It sure looks nice. @@deanmachinerc3258
I was lucky searching for RC bodies on EBay and I found it. I want to say it was around $20.

Looks good and I think the wheels look better with that body
Thank you! I was surprised on how well the wheels looked but also the way the tires preformed compared to others I’ve tried on it.
💯👍👌
Thanks friend! 😃 🤜 🤛
Looks badass 💯

Really great truck Dean! I’m really diggin the body you picked for this much. Better than the original body!👍🏻👊🏼
Thank you. It turned out pretty good. I think this is my favorite body I’ve used on the Everest 10.

Where u find the body at
I bought this body several years ago (just before putting this video on here) i bought it from an Ebay seller.
Did you make the holes to mount that

What tires are those
Hi friend! The tires are 2.2 “RC4WD” brand mud slingers.
I redcat everest 10 with a mean machine race truck body I cut for rock clawing
Hello from southeast alaska do you have any stickers for my rock crawlers remote control
The decals I have for my Everest 10 new truck body was ordered straight from the official Redcat website for only a few dollars.

So, it's a crawler but you don't climb any rocks???
I got to get it on the rocks soon and make a video! I haven’t had it crawling for awhile!
