- In this video I demonstrate how I change the oil pressure sensor on a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder with a 4.0-liter engine. Before the repair the oil pressure gauge would read all the way high, even if the engine wasn't running. If you find these kinds of video helpful, consider subscribing. Thanks for watching.
AFTER INSTALLING THE OFF BRAND SENSOR THE CAR WOULD SOMETIMES READ NO OIL PRESSURE. i ENDED UP BUYING A SENSOR MADE BY NISSAN AND EVERYTHING IS READING LIKE IT SHOULD. I RECOMEND YOU SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND GET A FACTORY SENSOR.

Thank you for this bideo brother 🙏
You do not need to drain oil, just do a fast swap with sensors and you shouldn't lose more than a few ounces of oil spill. I did this because the oil was just changed.
my oil pressure sensor is leaking so this is a good video for me
Just out of curiosity what is your year model and mileage?
good
Hey man I just bought the same truck I wanted to ask what’s that noise that it makes on the dash everytime u turn the key ? It sounds like it’s hitting something
It's probably a blend door actuator. It's for the climate controls. My heat and ac work, so I don't worry about the noise.
Thanks, another quick question. Have you replaced timing chain yet?
Yes.
I’ve done 2 oil changes in the past 3-4 months, and truck goes into “limp mode” for a little bit. Turn it off, then turn it on. Do you think this is a sign of a failing oil pressure sensor? Needle gauge always stays in the middle, never gets pegged down or up.
I’m confused as hell as to why it goes into limp mode after oil change. And I do not overfill. Mark is in between the lines.
I don't think so. You need an automotive scanner that can read bcm and tcm codes. One of your computers will have a code if it's going into limp mode. You may not have a check engine light if it's not a problem with the engines computer.
Before fix the is high pressure on your odometer.?
The pressure was all the way up before the fix. Then I put in an after market sensor and the pressure would occasionally drop to zero. After putting in a Nissan sensor my pressure is in the middle. So buy a Nissan sensor.
Is from ATF oil pressure?
Is what do you mean, is from ATF OIL pressure?
@@GrimRepair automatic oil pressure
@diaznolasco_he I'm still not completely sure what you are asking. This oil pressure sensor is attached to the engine, it measures motor oil pressure. Are you using a translator? Type it in spanish.
