- What's up Internet! In this video, I demonstrate the processes and procedures that I performed to replace the oil pressure sensor on the 2006 Nissan Xterra! The dash was showing a high oil pressure reading while the engine was running and while the engine was not. This is a common issue with the Xterra and other Nissans so I wasn't too worried but I finally got it replaced and I am glad I did!

nicely done! and little oil never hurt anybody lol .. as for the hole I could be wrong like many times before but I do believe that's a channel where oil goes in and thats how sensor reads its pressure .. but its not supposed leak into electronic part of the sensor .. SO old one broke got stuck thus not working , showing right oil pressure
Ah that makes sense. Well it's fixed now, so I'm happy 😁
Nice project, Moe! I’ve always ignored the everchanging oil pressure gauge. Looks like a pretty easy fix and you get to partially change your oil too while you’re at it!
Haha yeah definitely an easy fix. Had I realized how easy it was, would've done it a long time ago.
nice teflon lol
No telfon was used. The old sensor had nothing so I didn't put anything on. No leaks 👍
Use a torque wrench.. thank me later.
I try to use it on most things 👍
