Neverwinter makes the worst buisness decisions, some of the decisions they make as a company is ridiculous, I love this game but they act like they hate their customers and playerbase
Wrong, they hate their non-paying customers. They're a F2P company. Their entire goal is to get you to spend money. That's it. They don't care to strip you of years of progress, they don't care if you quit playing, they don't care they nerf you hard and force you to spend the next 6 months rebuilding your character. They only care about whales who will pull out their wallet to get back what they just took from them and obviously there are plenty of idiots out there.
I’ve already deleted my characters and uninstall the game. Years spent busting my @$$ for certain weapon enchantment and artifacts just to have them removed without warning and don’t get anything back for AD and refine points put in to them. NO.......f this game and f cryptic
Players need to stop giving them money but the problem is, many don't want to, don't want to admit they have addiction so they keep giving money. Until players wise up and stop giving them money or someone throws a class action against them for unfair business practices or even congress steps in the have them regulated and loot boxes dealt with in regards to prize percentages just like the law makes lottery tickets disclose odds of winning on back of tickets, they will continue to rob people.

Yeah I was surprised I could rank it up. Im also upset about the stick horse it cost 1000 Zen = $10 and it is a green not even a blue mount. This should had been a prize you can get in the jubilee event. They are really money hungry. I invested a lot of money into this game in 4 years then I have ever in any other game. That anniversary made me so mad. There is no reason we shouldn't be able to upgrade it or even trade it in. Don't even get me started on the hof. Good video though.
Dragons ain't so bad its the get 1,000 for an achievement is so bad for me because of a 20 minute wait on respawn or running to another location to get another. I haven't tried in a team of 5 yet in 5 different locations each taking down a dragon. But I'm guessing it don't score if not on same map even if in same team group. The event which had dragons spawn where we pick up stronghold vouchers and there a dragon each side of the area spawning was ok though I wish the dungeon where the red dragon was that we had a different quest for where we actually fight the dragons in the dragons best instead of running away and fighting the hatchlings which I Don't think count towards the 1,000 I so badly want
I only have one regret when it comes to this game. I wish I had invented Time Travel. So I could go back in time when I signed up for Beta and told my former self that after 8000 hours of Game play and Mod 16 your going to want to knife your Wrists.
Just play it casually whenever they have new stuff to try out. Hard grinding on it isn't worth it.. It's all about competition and when the biggest damage dealers are paying through the nose for that and it being just a game to put all that time and effort into you'd be right in thinking it's time not well spent. You don't win anything of any value just get in game items to do the same thing you do any other day and it's just about repetitively beating up monsters..
This might not be a big deal to you but it is to me and should be for any maxed end game player that now cannot have all rank 15s without spending a ton more money! ALSO, you cannot even exchange them in to the exchange vendor so yeah you are stuck with them for life.
I turned my ward requirement off when I was upgrading new weapons... accidentally hit x for upgrade then x again for upgrade until success... went through like 75 ses 😥
As any mmo in market they need the end game leaving and new players joining, old players already know how to farm, run and master the games, last but not least end games already spent their money. I play this since mod 4 and I learn to overcome this kind of thing. Neverwinter should change the name to nevertheless
I gave the game a second chance after reading somewhere that people took up NW again despite their past hatred for the anticipated change. What I found was that it was quite difficult for me to garner interest into the game as I got bored with it real quickly even with Undermountain. I can recall the times where I played this game for hours, but now I cannot recall why I was hooked since it has been a long minute. Maybe one day, they will create something that keep players like me stay interested.

I thought it was really funny that they had an event where you get lots of rewards for buying zen into your account without the ability to actually buy zen anymore

Are the Tales of Old campaign artifacts still lev 70? That's another room to add to the House of NW Horrors. Before you could even get the full set the level cap was increased and the items became obsolete. Some excellent planning there.
Try upgrading your mount collar only to find out that the second the collar is over leveled for your mount it quits working but on top of that the only way to upgrade your mount to make the collar work is by spending cash
I'm on it right now and you can see they are messing around with enemies all of a sudden being on steroids and respawning three times the amount of enemies.
Me neither I took year 5 off to play multiple games with friends..when I get back on the 3 campaigns I missed were easily done in a few weeks so it felt like I didnt miss much but then I hear about the free rank 14, the christmas yeti mount, etc... oh well
I feel like this is something they just haven't gotten around to fixing yet. Maybe they'll just turn them all into R15 in a future patch. The free upgrade would be nice, however that would only be a temporary fix until max rank gets raised again.

Nah, you were given R14's, not R14's with the promise of free upgrades at the time. Still should be able to refine them but then again, it is Cryptic. They giveth, then taketh away on a whim. You're expected to replace them on your own, grind for the reagents then upgrade something else to R15 to replace the free gift.
If you have a Dark Anniversary Enchantment it was (as the only one) automaticaly upgraded to rank 15. But only the dark 🙈 (You have to look at the stats to see it, it still says r14, but it is r15)
Re enchantments, be warned, my forecast is that in mod 17/18 (if the game lasts that long) power will become less important/other stats will be more important and the need for triple stat enchantments will return. Keep those triple stat enchantments safe
as an actual d&d player, theres no reason for whole ass areas filled With dragons. In the d&d universe, dragons are super difficult to drop, so you wont get them thrown at you in any quantity over 1 or if your DM is a douche 2 or 3.

Since the patch the other day they've somehow messed up defence even more for barbarians. How I know rhis? Because after update I was doing spiders in stronghold solo no problem once I got level 80 in Underworld. Now since the patch I'm almost dying I mean I'm suppose to be a barbarian I even made him stronger since update got a better weapon even upped crit avoidance. So I wanna know what's happening? They really have done something with that defence a tweak in the patch no doubt

What's just as bad is the rng for the alabaster set or alabastard set as I call it I've got one piece just one and so many duplicates of shirts pants arms the same ones I have watched all my friends get both main and off hand pieces. The only 3 quests a day in which you can only get this is completely screwed I'm so disappointed after those three runs a day I log off the game it's so frustrating, and the more time goes on that I don't get it, I don't want to play so I've went from enjoying hope I'm going to get the other piece running my 3 missions and still playing for hours on the day to logging in running the 3 missions then logging off it's just not enjoyable until that drops for me

The 5 year anniversary event enchantment is like a badge to say I was there it was given to players who were lvl 1-70 if you want a upgraded r15 enchantment earn it like long time players did. The heart of fire enchantment had to be earned by completing a whole story line. Any money I have spent in the game was to support the devs for making content for a free to play game.
Not only that but me and few other people are unable to upgrade shard of holy avenger and etc on ps4 since the mod drop. Like when you try to upgrade the shards it won't allow to use a ward of any type
you had an entire year of this being a bis free gift. i dont see the issue here. this is only an issue for the people that can probably have full rank 15s anyway for the rest of the player base they are still happy with their 14s.

There were 2 dragons in this mod, the Shadow Dragon, and the one you are referring to. Which for your info is a chromatic dragon, a green chromatic dragon to be specific.

I picked a dark for the anniversary and it still says r14 but it gives 6% which is the r15 amount , not sure what the deal is with it but hoping it’s not a glitch
im looking at mine right now my radiant 14 still says item lvl 108 and 2160 power and my radiant 15s say item level 120 and give 2400 power. this is on xbox so its not giving me or anyone else i know the r15 stats or item level. dont know how its weird if you are getting it
Was going to say the same that my dark is giving my companion influence 6% instead of the five something. So even if it says 14 but it's giving me 15 stats I'm cool with it. The heart of fire being stuck though is a bummer.

@@TheRealAssistMan I actually never paid close enough attention to know the difference between the item lv of chants... Low on my radar. But I have to disagree with the multi Stat chants being useless man. I run them all the time and before mod 16 my pally was pretty much a walking God in pvp using I gigantics in Def slots.
Once I got all of the new gear my stats were capped in almost all areas. I have radiants in all my slots now. I think that is what he is referring to. With power and hp having no cap in my case that made more sense then wasting my slots on three stat enchants.

My free rk14 dark has the same stats as my rk 15. The heart of fire is another story and truly that enchant isn’t needed. It’s in the bank.

Since the patch the other day they've somehow messed up defence even more for barbarians. How I know rhis? Because after update I was doing spiders in stronghold solo no problem once I got level 80 in Underworld. Now since the patch I'm almost dying I mean I'm suppose to be a barbarian I even made him stronger since update got a better weapon even upped crit avoidance. So I wanna know what's happening? They really have done something with that defence a tweak in the patch no doubt
Isn't their some kind of refinement event coming I read about? It says this DOESNT include the refine pack on zen store? Maybe I read it wrong,idk? This is the worst buisness decision, why wouldn't it include the refinement pack, people would actually buy the crappy pack because of that. Who makes these decisions, it is fucking ridiculous. Maybe I read it wrong cause I was at work(I work alot) and kind of in a hurry.

This game is complete trash now. Makes me so sad they turned a really fun interactive game into a dead boring piece of crap. Everyone I know quit playing and I can't even stomach playing now cause it's just a totally different game now. No wonder everyone would rather play the illegal version

Yeah that's total BS. What's just as bad is the rng for the alabaster set or alabastard set as I call it I've got one piece just one and so many duplicates of shirts pants arms the same ones I have watched all my friends get both main and off hand pieces. The only 3 quests a day in which you can only get this is completely screwed I'm so disappointed after those three runs a day I log off the game it's so frustrating, and the more time goes on that I don't get it, I don't want to play so I've went from enjoying hope I'm going to get the other piece running my 3 missions and still playing for hours on the day to logging in running the 3 missions then logging off it's just not enjoyable until that drops for me

I feel you but this isn't a scam dude. It's a FREE item. Many players cant even get to rank 14 because we don't spend money in the game so its good gift.... I have to disagree big time with you on this one. Cool story tho

You don't like that it isn't upgradable. That's cool. I don't like that either, but its not a scam because it was FREE.

The 5 year anniversary event enchantment is like a badge to say I was there it was given to players who were lvl 1-70 if you want a upgraded r15 enchantment earn it like long time players did. The heart of fire enchantment had to be earned by completing a whole story line. Any money I have spent in the game was to support the devs for making content for a free to play game.

My anniversary enchantment gives 2400 defence.. whereas my rank 14 gives 2100.. I think it's max
Not only that but me and few other people are unable to upgrade shard of holy avenger and etc on ps4 since the mod drop. Like when you try to upgrade the shards it won't allow to use a ward of any type

Also, other games do the same thing. For Example, final fantasy brave exvius, some free 5 star base units are non upgradeable to 7 stars.

lots of things in this mod are just so dumb like they overlook the simplest of things. i like the mod overall but they missed so much with it its nuts.

But isn't the heart of fire an add on to Barovia in mod 15, sinve it was half way through the year not a brand new mod.
The heart of fire was not an add on to Barovia it was put into the game with a complete new mod. With a full story line character's and items.

Was going to say the same that my dark is giving my companion influence 6% instead of the five something. So even if it says 14 but it's giving me 15 stats I'm cool with it. The heart of fire being stuck though is a bummer.
I'm on ps4 too, so I don't know if Xbox dark is behaving the same.

I understand the aggression in hopes that the devs or even an asshat promoter will see this but it wont work. If you like the game then play it but there's shit they purposely keep nerfed in hopes of having events and other in game functions to make you worj for it. Which in ine aspect i understand because it's easy content. But the other hand it makes it lazy content. Like filler episodes in anime. Which is all this game is. @@TheRealAssistMan that is odd I looked at my anniversary r14 dark and it says il 120 and gives 6% comp inf, and a reg dark r14 says il 108 and gives 5.4%, my heart enchant says il 130, im on ps4 so not sure why there is a difference
a few people have said the same about the dark. i think either the dark is glitched or it is a wrong tooltip. who knows. so many bugs

double and triple stat enchants have higher item levels cause they give you more combined stats. even though no one needs and of the stats lol
@@TheRealAssistMan I actually never paid close enough attention to know the difference between the item lv of chants... Low on my radar.
But I have to disagree with the multi Stat chants being useless man. I run them all the time and before mod 16 my pally was pretty much a walking God in pvp using I gigantics in Def slots.
Once I got all of the new gear my stats were capped in almost all areas. I have radiants in all my slots now. I think that is what he is referring to. With power and hp having no cap in my case that made more sense then wasting my slots on three stat enchants.
