So last time I checked Halloween, Christmas, New year's, happen every year and every year they are the same. Halloween costumes and trick or treat nothing changes the candy is the same every year the costumes don't change just different people wear them. What is different about the game every couple of years something new comes along. Trunk or treat, elf on a shelf but it's few and far in between just like in the game. Last year we got new mount and companion for the festival. During the Christmas /Simirl event we got the Yeti
True its awful experience over 190 pinatas 0 sash - highly frustrated everywhere - if there be at least something make people happy

I just got into Neverwinter on Xbox One the last week of September. I'm currently level 65 with my main and 32 with my alt. I could not kill the beholder pinata with my alt, so I don't even try the Halloween event with that one. As for the event itself, I see it as a repetitive grind to try and get the broom. I do want it but I noticed that you get the currencies for it (or "components") very slowly or never. However, you can get 100 of the one currency for real cash. They *want* you to give up and just buy them outright. So we're basically being awarded with being able to buy the flying broom. I've been playing every day and pop every beholder pinata that I get. I can't seem to get the component that drops from it. If I don't win the broom, then I'm not going to waste cash buying it. I'll just make due with my horse lol.

As a Playstation person, I got my broom with the guildies last year. We are working on the wolf this year. I'm hoping the Winter festival will result in some good stuff. But I must agree with you that Neverwinter dev's have gotten lazy with content. Mostly I grab my keys, get my influence and return to Let it Die.
Why would you put a dev team and resources onto a game with a shrinking player base. I havent logged in for months even though I still have plenty of VIP.
I made five broom mounts from last year and my Splinter companion is maxed rank 40 for my Main, so honestly nothing new for me to do SSDD, the only reason I got the Mount skin from the Zen market is I had AD. This game is just so boring to me and running ME dungeons kills me a little every time I run them. That's even when I do run them.

The broom mount is still behind a butt load of rng just saying it took a bit for me to get one 2 days... and some of my new guildmates still don't have it...

Assistman design a new event and send it to them. The community should be asked to submit ideas for new events. I admit that I do not find the events too interesting after playing for several years. They need to step up and change things slightly each year. New challenges,and new rewards to keep things interesting.
I am enjoying mod 19 but I admit I am not spending as much time on Neverwinter as I used to.
What the hell do the devs do for months because it sure aint new events good rewards or anything important
waist of time Neverwinter has become. I went back to SKyrim SE. I've been on twice in the past month. I didnt even get on in time for the event to start. I have always found the halloween event to be boring.

I love Hallow's Eve, but this event, and most previous events, have been lackluster. So, while that's been going on, I've been working on leveling my ranger. When there's new rewards from events, I'll start paying attention to them. Until then, I'll be working on leveling my alts to run stronghold stuff and get it leveled up faster

It didnt piss me off as much as it sounds like it did you, man. I kinda like how its all the same, sorta like holiday movies. It would have been cool to have some new graphics for the same old gear, though. The events are a little grind-heavy, so not having to go out of my way is cool. I got to do tomb of the nine gods off the rq, and that really made my season.

Id have to agree, i sold off all of my enchants and such as to have NOTHING compelling me to come back. Im happy i got some of the money i put in that game back honestly. And since ive quit neverwinter, i have 0 regrets doing so and have found there are SO MANY other games out there that are well more deserving of my hard earned cash.

Your wrong about one thing: I still dont have the damn broom mount because they made the stupid component you need to gain the broom impossible to get. I dont mind grinding if I'm guaranteed to get the thing I want by the end of event(like the cta event, etc) but I hate grinding on a maybe.

Haven’t been playing Neverwinter for long. Got everything for the mount except the Sash. Opened over 100 Piñata’s and got a bunch of the same crap. Wouldn’t even mind if there were a bunch of different items you could get from them but all I’ve got is stacks of crap.
The event sucks, the devs suck, the game sucks.

Kinda wondering what I did differently because I'm hearing a lot of complaining about not being able to get the witches staff for the broom, I got it on 4 different characters, and the most pinatas I had to break was maybe 30. Though I did them privately and all at once.
The game is boring and the devs don't care about it, only with the income money, and all the changes, this game should be renamed to NERFWINTER, sad.
I love when you complain, you're basically voicing what I'm thinking. You are definitely right about spending time with your loved ones. I would love to take my daughter trick or treating one more time, but she's 19, 200 miles away, and in college working 2 jobs. I hope mod 18 turns things around. Destiny 2 may be free but without the latest expansion the game is useless. You can't play more than 30% of the content.
false. you can play everything except the newest stuff and the moon planet stuff. you still have access to multiple raids, strikes, nightfalls, crucible and tons of other thingsand if you buy the shadowkeep dlc it comes with everything as well as the season pass for just $35 which is a great deal
