Never played borderlands .. soo many good pc games ! My new thing on games is no season pass .No deluxe this and that .Base game or if not bargain bin. Game devs have become too greedy segmenting content for sales .

Thanks for the info, but the video was stretched out much more than it needed to be. But that's just my opinion. I waited for this game to come to steam and I dunno if I wanna get it. On one hand, I wanna play the game. On the other hand, you have gearbox selling out to "epic", Randy, and various other problems. I heard the story sucks and the gameplay is good. I might pick it up for $30 or I might not. The exclusivity deal still stings.
Might be too late, but I would 100% recommend the game. I also waited to get it from steam. Yes, the main story is infuriatingly bad, but the gameplay itself is crisper than it's ever been (and you can finally restock ammo by pressing 1 button). The 2 DLCs so far are amazing content-wise, the story is much better than the main game's. Finally, they've announced that in a couple of weeks they are going to make a harder endgame (kind of like OP8), so there will be more meaning to maxing out characters and stuff.
If you have played previous borderlands games, you are probably going to love this one
@@PsydeON I ended up getting the game because I've got nothing else to play. I gotta say the visual are good, the gameplay is awesome, and I like the story. The antagonists are a bit cringy, and I can't believe what happened to Maya. Other than those two things I'm liking the story. I like the quality of life improvements, but I also have some gripes with the game...
The performance of the game is shit. Do you have any tips to reduce stuttering and increase performance? It started getting bad after Pandora and I went to go refund it but it was over 2 hours lol. Now I'm stuck with it.
I've got an RTX2070. I play at 1080p 144 fps. This game chugs at any setting I put it high or low and even at half refresh rate (72fps). I ended up putting it on high with a few setting on medium and volumetric fog off.
I also imputed this into steam launch options:
-NOTEXTURESTREAMING
That helped a lot. Also, getting rid of a OSD FPS counter helped a bit.
Any other performance suggestions would be appreciated.
@@The-Blue-Knight Unfortunately, I have no recommendations to improve performance. My PC is worse than yours and I can just about run it on low settings
@@PsydeON ah no worries. But yeah, turning off volumetric fog improves performance by like 20-30%.
Putting -NOTEXTURESTREAMING in steam launch options helps a bunch. What it does for me is makes load times slower, but it improves graphics and improves performance and reduces stutters. For me it's worth it.
I also heard turning off OSD FPS counters help like 1% but it's such a little diffrence I dunno if it's true or not.

Hey, thinking about buying Borderlands 3. But not sure if its worth buying the standard or the deluxe edition? Don't really care about the season pass as I may have moved on to another game by then not sure but only thinking about the deluxe edition because of the bonus xp mods. Is it worth it? Do they help much?
thx xp boost only last til level 10 so that is worthless. you get so cool cosmetics but thats about it. i would just get the $60 version of the game if you dont want the season pass
