I'm so sick and tired of every freaking game developer selling out for the quick millions from the idiots who haven't got a clue what it means to be a gamer who would never be a gamer or play these games if they didn't play it for them and developers essentially have hijacked video games from the actual gamers and idiot proofed them so that the ppl who just can't figure out complicated button combinations aka ppl with no gaming ability whatsoever can jump on and let the game play itself so they can feel like they are part of the gaming culture. which has been completely destroyed because of them. is there not a single developer out there willing to make a fair game based on skill and not dollars, a game where you have to actually explore yourself and learn the map and remember where to go by following the story rather than hitting a button let it do it's thing you have no idea of what that was you only look at the screen once every 15 to 20 min that isn't gaming. except that is gaming now every game is doing the same crap can gamers get at least 1 good fun game that's based on skill with fair matchups and no predatory tactics to encourage purchases the only thing that should be purchaseable in any game should be styles and nothing else that in anyway gives any even the slightest advantage, because that slightest advantage will be exploited and turned into a large advantage because what else is there to do play the game ?? when you full auto a game the only thing left to do is work out how to exploit advantages and work out the best most efficient way to do everything leaving anyone else who can't or who has a life in the dust and irrelevant .........its to the point I'm about ready to create my own team of developers and create a game for gamers which the market is starving for could make millions without selling out to p2w tactics just by offering style packs which most of the "gamers" are interested in more than playing the game anyway........and I think I posted this under the wrong area and just posted it to you assistman instead of the whole thread for all to read wooops
I just dont get why they would nerf the drops when the whole point of the game is shoot and loot.rinse (or not) and repeat. It just seems like a mistake in the long run

Been a BL fan since 2009. Just rented this game for PS4. Got actually as BORED with it as I was with the Pre-Sequel! Plus, they screwed up the FOV and the vending machines. Disappointed.
Same. Back to borderlands 2 to get my fix when i need it. Sigh.
I played it for 2 days and the thing that irritated me the most was how much every single enemy was a bullet sponge! So, you'll be wasting your time trying to get headshots while you get pig piled by the rest of the 20 enemies they send at you. Then, when you cleared out that group, another group spawns! In every single battle, there was a second wave of bullet sponges like clockwork! LAZY design! BL1 and 2 were MUCH better!
I farmed for the fire laser-sploder for hours and hours and didnt even get one laser-sploder of any element. Hell now I'll never get it lol
bro thats my fave gun! i have only found 2 total since the game came out lightning and corrosive and i farmed graveward over 500 times lol. now its gonna take an eternity

I was fortunate to get an anointed one for my Gunner that gave it extra shock damage for two magazines after end of action skill. The thing hits like a truck.
What system are you on? I think i have one if you want one. Im on xbox one.
I pulled out my calculator with the rough example you gave and on average it went from 7 weapons per mission to under the value of 1. That's actually insane. Because even after 20 missions (140 guns if we assume the average) you aren't guaranteed your weapon of choice. Now for 20 missions it's like 20-30 guns. That was not a smart decision on their part.
This loot nerf sucks
with the amount of variety of legendaries in the game now it does.
whats worse is that it also nerfs general mobbing and side questing , hell even orher bosses. they made the change because of 2 bosses and a loot midget resultingin the rest of the game sufferingfor it. I dont even like boss farming so this really sucks for me.

Now that did you put it into perspective I can see how bad this is. My best bet right now is getting artifacts with luck on it and try to stack it as high as I can with GR stats when it cans up. I wasn't interested in farming in loot tinks like streamers I saw but I feel like they should have just adjusted loot tink spawns and not mess with the legendary spawn rate.
yes i agree with the tinks. but when you think about it like i said now its going to be 1000x longer for you to get that right artifact you want.

All you can do is keep an eye on store sold items & in game sold stuff to feel out how bad things are before you realize its probably engineered to make you spend!!! Pesants Lol find all the bottlenecks

GearBox has several screws loose. Borderlands has always been about the loot and GearBox apparently does not understand that. What a cheap way to make people play longer because now it will require more grinding for Anointed Legendaries, which are even more rare than the regular legendaries. They really wanted to remove the fun, huh? Such a buzzkill.
How about instead, focus on the stability issues or the godawful optimization on the PC. It's unacceptable that a 2080Ti can't even get 60 FPS at 4K.
I started playing the second the game came out I lived on the game then they nerfed everything good which made my charector, guns and mods pointless. Even the stuff I paid for was so wack grenades and guns were just bad. My farming routes got nurfed the cube would break after 1 run the gun gun never dropped a legendary. Omg they nerfed invicabillty they made the game so hard I could not run solo on mayhem 4 unless I ran flak.
So basically there's no reason to play anything else besides true vault hunter mode. Thx for the heads up
The people complaining about the increased loot drop rates and wanting the drop rate to be dropped down immensely are probably the same people who played Anthem and were complaining about the loot being increased in that, Even though the points you said in this video: “you have the anointed legendaries, and yea you could get a legendary to drop but it may not be anointed, and then you could get that said legends you wanted and it could be an anointed drop BUT it could be the wrong anointed perk for your build, and then it could be the legendary you wanted with the perfect perk for your build but the weapon parts could be trash, its pretty much mirrors the situation with Anthem, where people didn’t want legendaries to drop more because “you’d get everything you want and the game wouldn’t be any fun at that point”. And I’ll show you these points here for Anthem: You could get the LEGO you wanted but you’d have to contend with if it’s the exact skill you wanted, and then you’d have to get the perfect stats on it for your build etc....it makes me incredibly disappointed, I bought Borderlands 3 to feel rewarded for my time because Anthem didn’t reward me for my time spent at all. And I’m getting that same unsatisfied feeling like I waisted my time farming for hours just to come out with nothing because all of the legendaries I did get are not even worth picking up....it’s extremely frustrating and has made me not even want to play the game.

The people that complained about loot have no clue what character building is. They pretty much fucked the entire playerbase.

I strongly agree, I want a fire crossroads with annointed phasecast for amara and I am about to give up. I got crossroads in 3 elements many times but only one time it was annointed with a "decent" annointed. Radiation is not my fav but I am forced to use it because is the only one after almost a 100 hours of play i have gotten that is annointed.

Its not worth sinking time into this game. I always had bad luck with droprates and i learned to deal with it but thats just like worse than the gem loot drop chances in mhw (attack boost gem if someone played it) there was like 6 different rng algorythms you had to go through to maybe eventually get a gem that has a droprate of 1.0% but back to bl3..
As you said, its the same thing. It has to be anointed, Right skill and element and whatever. Its just not possible. And after 2 days straight farming, i cant see agonizer get killed in 1 min anymore and getting absolutly nothing in return.
Also nice balancing seeing mayhem 4 agonizer get killed in 1 min. But anointed tinks need all your ammo reserves to go to half health.
Ill end up playing this like rdr 2 with no patches.
Literally broken. I have killed tyreen 26 times yesterday and 15 times today on mayhem 3 and I keep getting the same GARBAGE legionaries. I have not gotten ONE legendary worth saving. This loot nerf is fucking ridiculous.
I have done troy, graveward, etc. around 100 times (fl4k allows me to do this SUPER fast) and not a single good legendary. Every legendary drop I get, whether I get 1 legendary or 4. I ALWAYS get the Double-Penetrating Occulisst Revolver... I am about to uninstall this game. They ruined the loot. It was hard to get what you want to begin with (before the nerf), and now it will take tens if not hundreds of hours to get the loot I want. Even using Fl4k where I have a crit build and can melt bosses.
Really sucks for those of us who dont farm bosses. Makes everything I find pretty much shitty now.
I'm glad they never nerfed Crawmerax in BL1.. he dropped probably 20 or 30 legendaries and sometimes a pearl. Good times.
I never got into borderlands but who complains about too much loot and I had high Hopes for anthem but yet here we are I also heard heard they been making some majors updates to it and they want people to play their game again

If you're playing on Mayhem 2 to Mayhem 4, then you deserve to get good loot drops. I thought that was the point of Mayhem since it scales up and against you as play.
Just installed the game again on PC after a year of not playing. Went farming Gravewarden on BR10, got 1 legendary per 3 - 4 kill... This sucks ass. That stupid ree loot card shit just ruined the entire game. Well CYA gearbox, no more money from me. You are listening to little plebs that have 50 - 100hrs played and sits at badass rank 25. The whole POINT of mayhem mode was to get PERFECT rolled ones with the RIGHT anointments, as Assist says in the video. Now GL getting that shit. Game is dead.

Putting your console to offline will revert everything so you can grind the game out before they update it fully, exp has also been nerfed into the ground.

yes, no it wasnt guess you didnt pay attention to what i said in the video about the variety and everything being a world drop now.
Borderlands 2 had specific drop locations. I have 1200h in it. Now I cant farm for items at all at specific spots, but the rates are now after the patch similar. so its much more chaotic and less fun for me because I cant even search for specific items. thats my main problem. in bl2 we had 4 midgets that were spawning everytime since its fun to farm them. how is this fun if you cant search for anything, you only can farm graveward/tyrenne and thats it when it comes to time effective farming since everything is a worlddrop anyway besides some specific guns. I have now nearly 150h playtime in BL3 and didnt even find a good classmod for my 2 builds on 2 characters but found around 30-40 crossroads and nearly every other item in the game (most of the time shitty parts). idk i hate it when I cant have spots to go in the game which are important for an item
@@JazzyFunkaHolic I really miss this too. It was great in BL2 when you could farm for a specific weapon like savage lee for the harold.
@@LootWizard Thing is: I like the diablo 3 mechanic (A lot of worlddrops, only a few good items). But the droprates have to be way higher so it gives you a good feeling while goign through the worlds :) It feels less way predictable then bl2 and if you need a specific leg COM or weapon right now, youre just screwed when you have bad luck :D

The nerf is what the game needed!! Look at why borderlands 2 was so replay able!!!! You actually have to grind to get the guns you want by working HARD! Borderlands 3 needs drops so rare like the 94 sham and things to keep it alive

I'm playing now on XBOX One after playing on playstation for a long time, and I haven't even seen a rare loot drop. I'm turning it off and going back to my playstation.
This is why i dont patch for a long time. Especially gearbox games. Yhey always take awya anything that helpd the player but leave in garbage everyone hates

@@TheRealAssistMan i just finished it on tVHM but im pretty done, i had to deal with troy having insta kill power both runs, and i cant even count the bugs im sure some were fixed but then id have to suffer no good drops, fell through the map many times, was stuck in a loop with gravwa rd where id die and spawn under rhe map reoeadtly even after quiting out. Its was pretty ridiculous that after 7 years thats what we got.
Are you really mad that you have to actually play harder difficulties and farm for the best items in the game? If every boss is killed with the pipebomb in under 30 seconds. And they dropped 3-5 legendaries, then there's no reason to play the game. You get all the best stuff in one day, and then you're done. There's no more content to play, and nothing to work for. Good job.
you sound ignorant. there is no way to get everything you want in one day or in 1 month. out of the 1000+ legendarties i got i never received a actual good one.
I didnt get a legendary siren mod in around 150h playtime since everything is a worlddrop. people dont get it that bl2 was based on specific drop locations and bl3 is soooo random so loot has to be higher. 15 parts on a weapon, random drops, no system that you can apply to farm for sth :D just farm graveward 2000 times ... yea not repetitive at all (I kill him in under 30 sec too with a kings call its actually faster then the pipe bomb)

I honestly quit playing because of it and so did all my friends and they just lost my business on any future dlcs if the loot was better overall I’d be okay but the only way to get good loot now is bosses and offline mode which is complete garbage there’s so much game but no focus it’s honestly not even a good game end game contents usually all about getting stupid strong and for there being a billion guns I sure get the same exact shit over and over and haven’t got a legendary class mod in over a fucking week I’m pissed cause I liked the game but the loot setup is trash

About the annointed gear though, I think all gear in tvhm mayhem 3 should just roll with an annointment.
Just brought the game and all I see are greens and maybe some crap blues at this point might as well hang around the vending machine for loot instead it's like destiny loot cave all over again.
they nerfed it for people who spend hours upon hours collecting rare guns otherwise they would move on too quickly. If you want high legendary drop rate just get a trainer.

Play borderlands 2 and you can go 20 kills with no legendary drops, and that's a normal thing. As of right now If I kill graveward or any other boss 20 times and I'll have to make a pack mule character to keep all the legendaries lol.

I playing same mode as you and all the vender gear gold chest red chest and even loot drops and all the stats are in red nothing is ever stronger than what I have on this for me takes the fun out of the game I put in a ticket with pictures and still nothing if you may know why this is it would be great
Here's my unpopular opinion: I feel the nerfs aren't too bad. I feel that if we were to farm any legendary in a few hours the lifetime of the game wouldn't be long. It also diminishes how rewarding it feels to finally get that legendary you've been farming for. That's why I think people continued to play BL2 for so long, because of how rewarding it was to play and get those weapons. There was a certain amount of bragging right too when you got that rare weapon. I think 4 to 5 legendaries for beating a single boss is waaaaay too many. There's not any rewarding feelings when you can expect 100s of them to drop from an hour of gameplay. I don't mind these nerfs and I think it'll make the game last much longer.
100s of regular garbage legendaries should be normal. how many of them were anointed with max rolls??? that is what people like you dont understand. legendary is no longer the top tier item in the game.
dont mean to sound petty, but noticed you're using a fire element Maliwan against a flamethrower heavy weight, we've heard the term "fight fire with fire", but bro come on, use the right elements to defeat enemies in your video's at least lol, none the less good video :)

Game sucks . Iron bear glitches through the floor on graveward boss fight. Graphics mode crashes xbox 1x have to play in performance mode which runs like ass. Rubber bands lag glitches pure trash like all 2k games

Turn the screw a bit, turn players into payers figure out what people like & make it scarce lol, its all part of the plan besides you cant carry everything anyway from what ive heard inventory management is a full time job. Im board of the gameplay imagining it. Give me a dropship or helicopter to fly run & gun has been done to death since Doom

I’ve been farming mayhem 1 Tyreen and I’ve been averaging probably 1.8 legendaries per Kill. Just look for other things to farm, the loot is still fine
legendaries arent supposed to be that rare. annointed legendaries for your class your action skill with the parts you want on them is rare and now its near impossible to get them
I love the new patch makes the game more rewarding and gives longevity to the end game :)...
1:Chupra is not the only boss in the game that's why they nerfed it he shouldn't be able to drop all the same legendary weapons the a vault guardian can he is a mini boss
2: yes I agree the torgue shotties were busted and still are on flak it kinda need another nerf but only to flak (make the projectiles have -50% crit or something).
3: having a loot tink be a 100% spawn takes the excitment out of finding them legit....you are favoring a exploit
4: I think the drop rate should stay where they are now and they should put more of an Emphasis on targeted farming just like it is borderlands 2 cuz being able to target a specific item or gun via set drop location will make it easier to get the right parts and a good anointed perk aswell as the right element. Also while I'm talking about weapon parts somthing you need to know is that unlike BL2, legendaries in bl3 now have multiple set parts instead of one, so sometimes you can find legendaries with 4 set parts that cant change leaving only 2 or 3 at chance,
to sum this up
5: more targeted farming- less world drops- Porcelain pipe bomb nerf (plzzz god) - frame rate improvements - and some might not agree with this but I think they should make annointed gear tvhm exclusive (and buff they chances of annointed gear) also they need to add some better annointed perks for flak i feel like they are all pet related atm....k I'm done :)

@@JazzyFunkaHolic you had to spend time killing other enemies to get to them plus if you picked up the logs it messed with the farm and to fix it you had to restart the whole campaign...plus that quest was set up like that to be an introduction to loot midgets.....with the bl3 farm you walked in ignored every mob except the loot tink killed it and reset. With flak and a slide speed relic you can kill the tink 3 times a minute......it was busted and that's why they patched it
Cubacabra still drops atleast 1 legendary on mayhem 3 tvm.
