    FS-GT3C ticks a lot of boxes for me; multiple model memory; fully adjustable; good response; LED display; lipo battery and charger; good spring tension on wheel and trigger. The build quality is good and the radio is light and feels good in the hand. I have one for my bashers, even use one in my son's stadium truck. The radio has been knocked off the table a couple of times but still going strong. The receivers are dirt cheap so you can have one for each vehicle. The scrolling is not a big deal, its only backwards when using the top menu choices. Changing settings is a real pain until you learn the proper procedure ( I will post it), probably the most frustrating thing about this radio. It is a 3 channel radio but not really a big deal for most applications. Really, I don't think the other two even compare.

    I’ve been wanting to try the Dumbo Rc one. I have a GT3C and I always hit the dual rate button and it messes it up. The instruction book is horrible and like you said the scroll is backwards and the enter and end button is screwy.

    the flysky is the gt3C model but for around 10 dollars less you can get the gt3B, Same functions only that runs on alkaline batteries, like the other 2. That being said ive had a gt3c for years now im going to get the dumbo rc for my mini and try it out

  • @robbryan3044
    @robbryan3044 Před 3 lety +1

    Feature-for-feature, I truly think the GT3C is the best choice. Yes, the wheel scrolling through the menu system is backwards, and the operating functions of some of the buttons can be confusing at first...but, once you understand it, and have gotten used to it, it's no longer a "problem". Besides, of the three, it's the only one with multi-vehicle memory. Honestly, I would never use it to run any of my land-based vehicles (for that, I have my Futaba 7PX)...but, for some of my boats, it's perfect. Having two part-time 'rescue' boats, I have one on the 7PX, and the other on the GT3C. That way, if I'm using one of the 'rescue' boats for fun, I always have the ability to use the other 'rescue' boat to rescue the first.

  • @epf1961
    @epf1961 Před 3 lety

    Hi, I'm a newbie at this so hopefully you can help with the basics. I picked up an old 3-band 27Mhz RC car t(a very cool, HUGE 1/8 scale Ford GT, almost 2 feet long!) that takes a 9.6V NiCd battery pack. It didn't come with a remote, so I bought a few 27Mhz remotes, even some with 3 or 4 bands, but none of them would operate the car (which I think is weird because there are only 6 bands in the 27Mhz range, so I figured at least ONE of the remotes would work). So I assume that to get this working, I must buy a new transmitter/receiver kit. My confusion is, the kits I see (for example, the AUSTAR AX6S 4CH 2.4Ghz) are all either 6V or 12V, but I don't see any 9.6V kits? What am I missing here? How does a 6 or 12v receiver work off a 9.6v battery? Thanks for any info.. (PS: Is it difficult to swap out the original receiver for a new one?) PS: From what I can gather, this is probably NOT a 'hobby grade" car, but I'd still like to get it working (made by "1 Badd Ride")... Tks.

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  Před 3 lety +1

      the battery connects to the Electronic Speed Control (ESC) which outputs 6v to the receiver

      no, only the Flysky can be set to control more than one vehicle. channels are for each function on the car, example channel 1 is steering, channel 2 is throttle. you could add more functions, like lights or a winch or whatever on additional channels.
