Dumborc 6 channel receiver with light control function

- This is the receiver from dumborc. It has 2 version, one with gyro and the other without gyro function. It is same as the earlier receiver but it has come with extra function to control the lights (1&2 for signal, 3rd for brake, 4th for atmosphere light, 5th for reverse light and 6th for headlight). Besides, it works with other transmitter as well. Tq

@@javit9361 para conectar las luces debes tener el mismo receptor y comprar las luces en el mismo kit ya que ese receptor viene.con los pines para colocar las luces
@@javit9361 puedes conectar en cualquier canal vacío que tengas, solo checa las polaridades, aún que no debería pasar nada pero por si acaso mejor conectar bien desde el principio, la única diferencia con el del vídeo, es que no te va a hacer las funciones, simplemente siempre estarán encendidas desde que enciendas el rc hasta que lo apagues, pero si se puede no pasa nada

Tqvm, you are welcome to ask, it is okay for me. 1st DC rx s the receiver come with extra connections for LED lights (the one in this video), so u can control the lights by directly plugged into the receiver light connection pins. The YC is more for gas vehicles with failed safe setting features, I’m getting one of this and will be doing another video for it. I choose dumborc for my crawler as it has sufficient control features for me now, but I may change to other transmitter in future if I need more control and setting function as it has only limited setting features. For turbo racing, they have updated their 3rd channel control mode, it’s hand wheel spring is a bit too soft for me (this is just my personal preference), other than that it is a very nice transmitter too. In term of value, I will choose dumborc over turboracing. But I have contacted the turboracing customer support before regarding the third channel, their service is very good.

one drawbacks after i get it all set up is the dimming brake light only takes effect on almost full throttle, same for the reverse light, it wont light up on slow throttle. Is there any ways to adjust them?

Hi Jeff. Quick question. I ordered the same receiver like yours but it doesn’t come with lights. What I did is ordered a set of 3mm LED lights on amazon. The LED is wired but it didn’t come with connector. I need to buy a connector but I don’t know what it’s called?

I used the turbo racing (hobby porter) 7ch channel transmitter for demo, I saw someone using the flysky transmitter and receiver to work with this receiver as well in other video.
question, is the 3rd channel button need to be programmed? I have placed an on/off switch hooked up to my lights however the button does not turn it on? If I place the lights on the receiver I have no problem. I have two on/off cables and tried both and neither one of them worked my lights?
It is plug and play, and you can choose the control mode by pressing twice to the tiny button on the top. I dun use any on off switch and just plug the led directly to the receiver.

@@edwinnegron7761 the receiver has two button, one at the bottom (same as the earlier 6channel receiver), and another one is on the top for light control mode function (indicated by purple light)
@@jeffreytfl5832 Hi Jeffrey, I plugged my light directly into Ch3 of the receiver but pressing Ch3 button on the TX does not turn off the light. Light is constantly on. Am I doing something wrong? Many Thx

Is there a way to use the FL Port continuously?
Does your light (leds) kit includes any resistors? I performed some measurement on mine X6DCG and it seems lights outputs are 6V and does not have any current limiting resistors, so if you just connect leds - they will burn. Now I'm curios how this led kits are made...
I have tried to plug the Led from an old PC directly to the receiver light pin without any issue
@@jeffreytfl5832 I hope you know how leds work, so it can’t be true :) If it was white led - they might survive for some time current above 30mA, but just for coincidence
For those who read this: kit includes current limiting resistors, they are soldered on wires

Hello, I'm trying to get some help.
I bought a dumbo X6F with lights; it doesn't seem to have a blue LED, and the only lights that work are the indicators. I can also turn the gyro on and off, and that's it.
Can someone shed some light on this?

2 - measured on mine - 6v. And seems like there is no current limit resistors, so if one of leds die - the second probably burn right after
@@alexey_sychev I have an Yikong 4102 (Absima Sherpa) which is using the same receiver, one of the signal led pin broken near the bulk but doesn’t affect other lights function
I allready asked a question the other video about the setup of the Dumborg and this is my second : why does all this do not work with my transmitter (X6)/reciever (X6DC)? I think I do something (very) wrong but the servo on ch3 is not working (better : gives a interference with the steering servo) and when I put the JST plug in ch4 (atmospheric/fog lights) it does nothing. It's making me crazy.......
Since your both receivers are having the same problem, it is likely caused by the transmitter. Maybe you try to re bind after reset
The lights setting button is on the other side (opposite of the bind button), you may try to change the setting mode. You may also check my another video for changing the light control mode for YK-4102.
Could you make a how to calibrate video?
It is just like the normal dumborc receiver with extra light pin for light connection. You may check out my another video on how to do the setting and calibration.

My headlights dont turn on, and only right blinker works, left does nothing. but 4 way flashing (ch3) all 4 signal lights blink....... brakes, rev, safety/emerg lights work. along with 4 ways, no left turn or headlights. i got headlights by just plugging in to ch6 power without the signal wire. but i have no left turn... what could be wrong? not much english documentation on dumborc anywhere
Hey great video I just have one q. I plan on using this on a boat so I won't need gyro function but I would like to have channels 5 and 6 being proportional to use for working anchor etc and yes the extra lighting options could be handing. So how can I make sure I get that receiver as there seems to be many options thanks
So long you get the transmitter with turning knob for channel 5 and 6, it’ll have proportional control to these 2 channels

Do you mean the battery connection to the receiver? Any of the receiver channel can connect with the battery, so long you have the correct voltage
The mode is rumble.. i test all the lights its working but if i connect it again to the resiver its not working properly the mode been rumble

you will need to replace the steering servo from 5 wire servo to 3 wire servo.

Hi.how you turn on the receiver direct from battery?
Just plug in the battery JST connector directly to any one of the channel, but do make sure the polarity and voltage of the battery is correct and suitable for the receiver.

can anyone help me?, why is every left turn the left turn light and reverse light also on?, then if the car is backward then the reverse light and the right turn light are also on?, and when the car moves forward, the left turn light also lights up?

none of the turning controls work for my lights, i have the new gen controller, and a x6dc receiver non gyro. only the mode for the channel button lights works.... in ch button control mode though i have no left turn, only right turn signal. 4 ways work though. headlights not on either.

I have xdcg version. But i noticed that may turn light (right) is not working.
Turn light (left) is fine.
I checked the led by swapping it, no problem. But the turn light (right )is not working.
But when I execute the emergency lights (hazard), both light is working.
What could be the problem here?

@@jeffreytfl5832 Is this a common issue? I seem to be having a similar problem, however my right turn signal works, and left turn signal does not work. The atmosphere light also does not seem to work (4 quick right turn). I'm currently using a 4 channel dumborc transmitter (ZD Racing). My hazard will also light all 4 corner lights, however when I steer I only get signal on one side (2 lights).
i have the EXACT same issue, one turn signal doesnt work but 4 ways all 4 do work.
@@tonyt1191 i only get one side i believe right signal, left does nothing. 4 ways work though (ch3 button) and i also have no headlights.
Hi guys! I found the solution. It’s not actually a problem. It’s about the settings (steering trim). Dumborc receiver requires a minimum steering end point. If your did not reach that point the signal light won’t work.

That is gimmick, backward lamp only on when +1/2 throttle, and break light olways on
The rear lamp is always on, the break light is on when abt 1/2 the throttle, so maybe you need to swapped the two light connection
