This Remote does feel good, and looks great! I looked at the bottom, and it had those little nubs on the bottom. Are those feet? I set it down on the feet, and it actually stood-up, withoput falling. So, this alone is impressive. Balance in the hand is important to me, Mine came with a RadioLink Lanyard. This is trolling, because RadioLink does not work with DumboRc, but are made in the same building, and are related companies. I have two nice RadioLink Receivers, but no RadioLink Remote.
Radiolink receivers don't bind to Dumbo, I tried that 😅. Funny they put the lanyard in there 🤔
bought one as my first dedicated transmitter to upgrade esc on my hbx 16890pro and deeply impressed!!!

I was a bit surprised by how small the transmitter actually is in hand, but it works great.
The last channel 6 knob is for gyro sensitivity. No need for button presses, just turn it.

I use the small FMS transmitter to drive my 1/24 crawlers and prototypes. Does this Dumbo bind the FMS receiver/ESC combos ?
If not, which receivers can be used with it ? Only the same brand ?
Hey, no, they don't bind. The TX/RX from FMS are made by Flysky. The new tiny Flysky doesn't bind to them as they are ANT transmitters.
@@hofsplace Thank you for the answer. A pity as these Tx/Rx/ESC combos from FMS are really good on slow speed and also quite cheap. I'll look for a micro receiver to fit my old Futaba 3PK.
@@vdel9036 totally agreed with the FMS combo's, they are great! And less sound coming out of the motor

How does the lights work if all channels are connected to something like winch or 2 speed gearbox?
When the DumboRC light module is used, steer 2, or 3 times to turn lights on/off, or hazard lights on/off

I would really appreciate it if you could teach me how to set the fail safe.
Try to throttle up a little, so the wheels are spinning, then switch the transmitter off. What happens with the car?

i have had this thing for like 6 months! bought it for mini drifter havent been able to set end points im at beginning of video hopefullly this end points claim is true!!! got the mini RX with Gyro included

Sorry, can't tell as I rarely use 300m+. But I can say, it never let's me down with speedruns
So the real question is which is best the X6 Dumbo or the new one ? Which has better range ?
I prefer the channel 4 on the X6. Beside that i would choose the tiny one.

No, not via the remote. You can use a Y cable in the receiver, then you have to reverse the servo in the back

On the red little plastic rectangle inside de cover, there are four little bottoms. Labeled from 1 to 4. Just change the one you want to reverse. Should be number 1

Hi, with the calibration of the steering and throttle stick I assume. Never needed to try myself. Did you try to use the dual rate knob to adjust it?
