    I watched Max and Leclerc race in F3, and a lot of people thought Leclerc was better. What I saw in Max was a man that was able to get the most from an inferior car and outdrive most others. Ever since he won the first championship he has increased his skill level beyond any other driver. The Mercedes bunch has tried to intimidate him pushing for rules changes they think will put them on top again. When the hybrid era started Mercedes already the engine built and held a patent on certain parts that gave them all their years of Hamilton dominating. This new era of all teams having identical equipment has really shown the magic of Red Bull and the driving ability and perfection of Max's skill. Hopefully they keep Newey and Max long enough to shatter all records.

      Max became fully consumed in the thought of never losing. Did you guys see Albon's recent response about Max's driving? He said Max just pushes the front end sensitivity more and more until you're on the limit the entire time. It takes a special semi-sociopathic mentality to do what he's done.

    What I like about Max is that he said "I'm not gonna get beaten by him again" instead of something else where he blamed the car or something. He admitted Checo had the pace and he was going to do everything to make sure it didn't happen again

    RPM has been COOKING. It was a masterpiece after all. I love you framed the whole thing as a thriller, the lion stare had no right going THAT hard. And yes, Baku was certainly a breaking point. As much as people love to hate Checo and fantasize about their favorite driver taking the heat to Verstappen in the same machinery, it begs the question: which drivers would be able to take that much pressure and come out on top? In my book at least there are only two names: Alonso and Hamilton. The rest lack experience, mental fortitude, have skill issues or a combination of all three.

      Well said you just missed one thing... Alonso and Hamilton can bring heat to Verstappen yes but they cannot come up on top Max already showed literally he will always come up on top he did that in Monza 2021 and did it just to make a point 😂

    • @niels1755
      @niels1755 Před 3 měsíci +2

      Hamilton, really?! You'll see this year...
      I say Alonso maybe, and Norris. Maybe Piastry too once he matures and grows a bit. McLaren are the ones to watch if they can bring the car.

    • @raddishone92
      @raddishone92 Před 2 měsíci +2

      @@niels1755 Yeah car performance wise nobody has a chance right now, but they're talking about which drivers would have a shot if given a car that can fight. That's why Hamilton and Alonso are mentioned, because Hamilton has already taken the fight to him and Alonso is very much capable too. It's like saying Verstappen couldn't take the fight to Hamilton before the 2021 season started, he never had a car to compete for a title for a full season long, but immediately brought the heat when he did get one. Similarly, if the W15, AMR24 (or 2025 Ferrari for that matter) turn out to be capable of matching the RB20 until the last race, Hamilton and Alonso would immediately be contenders until Abu Dhabi.

      It absolutely is boring if there is no title fight. Can you guys stop pretending that Max beating Perez is a big deal? People who think it's boring need to stop watching if they only care about the title fight and wins. Midfield battles have been crazy since 2022 and rarely is a car lapped without some shenanigans. The new regs were aimed at improving raceability and they succeeded, it's just that one team managed to get the regs right while others fumbled. If that didn't happen, everyone would have been lauding those changes
