There are many heart wrenching facts of this case but something about him courting her when she didn’t even like him only to later in life claim he is repulsed by her & to violently take her life. The fact he knew what was in that house, and he allowed her mother and her family to go and discover that, is truly one of the most shocking things I've ever heard. That poor family, not only losing their daughter/sister in that manner, but the last image they have of her, is her in that way.

If someone doesn't take "No" for an answer when asking you out, that's a red flag that they don't think you have any agency or right to makes choices for YOUR life. A relationship is a major life change that YOU should have say in, and you have the right to decline someone's attentions if they're unwanted. You should never, _ever_ date a person who doesn't respect that. Instead, you should avoid them by all means.

I’m sure not everyone that does this is a psychopath but there’s a lack of respect and boundaries that isn’t a good sign to begin with. To a young girl it sounds like a movie, to be wooed and given that much attention, but in real life it’s paving the path of an unhealthy relationship to come.

This account of the Rachel O'Reilly murder case is truly gut-wrenching and sheds light on the complexities of human emotions, deception, and the pursuit of justice. The first part sets the scene with a glimpse into the seemingly ordinary life of Rachel and Joe O'Reilly, which takes a dark turn with Rachel's tragic murder. The second part delves deep into the intense trial that followed, revealing a web of lies, betrayal, and manipulation that unraveled before the eyes of the court.
The way the evidence was meticulously presented during the trial, from emails and text messages to phone triangulation, showcased the increasing role of technology in modern legal proceedings. It's incredible to see how digital footprints were used to piece together a motive and paint a vivid picture of what transpired.
The emotional turmoil faced by Rachel's family, especially her mother Rose, is heartrending. Their unwavering determination to seek justice and remember Rachel's life is both inspiring and moving. The culmination of the trial, with Joe O'Reilly's guilty verdict and subsequent life sentence, offers a sense of closure, yet the aftermath continues to haunt.
This case serves as a reminder of the fragility of human life, the power of evidence, and the lengths that loved ones will go to in order to ensure justice prevails. Let us never forget Rachel's story and the strength of those who stood up for her. 💔🕯️🙏

Joe showed up at the crime scene with their boys after first making sure Rachel's mom would find the body 😭 So evil. He clearly doesn't even care about his kids

This is extremely sad from every single angle. Own husband killing you, own mother deliberately sent to find you in that shocking state, two young children losing their mum at the hands of their own father, what thoughts are they suppose to have of him when they reach the age of understanding??? and the list goes on and on. I wish the family God's peace.

In the tv interview Joe said Rachael took a person she knew into the bedroom. He is admitting he was the man. He blamed Rachael and tarnished her name in front of her mother. What monster does that?
You can see Rachel’s mothers skin crawl!
He was punching above his weight with Rachael and he knew it!

Its so fucked up that she rejected him for years when he'd ask her out. She finally relented but HE makes it sound like she was overbearing and "repulsive"??? While also cheating on her.... Christ.
