9/10
10/10 better than season 4
@@Saju88mathew yeah no doubt.
9/10, better than season 1, 2, and 4. But, I still think episode 4 and 8 from this season are the only 10/10 episodes this season.
10/10
this ep was so dark but i love what Aaravos says to Viren "tomorrow the sun will rise and you will not ",and the thing that THEY HAVE A CHILD TOGETHER .I WAS ABOUT TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK.
Man, that line was CHILLING!
Where does this episode rank for you this season?!
Bruh didnt even know it was THEIR child until Aaravos mentioned it i was about to fucking scream my life out, and so it basically means a part of the Viravos ship is canon, props to all the Viravos shippers out there😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭✨
@@nancyvallee59 when I first time saw that scene I was like:" the Virren × Aaravos shippers are screaming rn for sure"
@@nicolas._.2294bro all I could think about during that scene was the viravos shippers
@@nancyvallee59True but in this case it’s more of a toxic relationship
When Aaravos went “your other child”, my heart STOPPED, because I thought he meant Callum for a second😱
That plot twist would’ve killed me…
Admittedly, that was one of the thoughts that ran through my head at the time. And the thing is, with the parallels, and differences between Callum and Viren in both this season and the last, if they was actually true, would have made some sort of sense in the most absurd way possible.
I'm glad he's not though!
In episode 7, Callum uses dark magic to save Rayla and aaravos said that Callum would be "destined to fall right into my hands" in season 4 episode 4?? This is a possible plot point for the next season
@@EstefaniaFajardo-nc9of As proven by theory pop from 2 years ago, if Callum was aaravos's son, then the whole point of him learning the sky arcanum would be so much less impressive because he's elvish. So no, it isn't really possible/the writers would be stupid to do that.
Omg me toooo 😂😂😂
Omg that would have been awesome…. And frightening
Okay, so I figured something out with Aaravos! He says he swallows Queen Aditi which didn't make any sense to me. But then I watched a video of all of the dark magic spells in the dragon prince reversed so you can hear what the spell really is. In the finally of Dragon Prince season 3, when Aaravos is helping Viren take Zym's power in that spell with the purple tornado, this is the spell Aaravos as the catipilar says: "Rewop ruoy swollaws eh. Dnim ruoy swollaws eh. Traeh rouy swallows eh." And all of that backwards is: "He swallows your heart. He swallows your mind. He swallows your power." This could be what he did to Queen Aditi and how he has the powers from different primal sources. That spell gives you that person's power, as Aaravos was giving Viren the power from Zym. Aaravos might have "swallowed" Queen Aditi or some other sun elf or dragon to get the arcanum of the sun. And he must have done it to other elves or dragons so he is a master of all the primal sources.
This episode was... amazing! You must admit Aaravos has a sense of humour though. "He got the voice from your side of the family"😂
Aaravos' sense of humor makes me laugh but is also so sinister. 😂
Where does this episode rank for you this season?!
@@ReelJames True! I think it's surely among the best but for some reason, it's not THE best.
The twist that Star Smeagol is actually Viren and Aaravos’ kid was surprising but hiding in plain sight when you think about it. Makes perfect sense since the spell they used to create it involved both of their blood.
i love that you called him star smeagol, that's exactly how i think of him lol
We hates the Star touches Elfs, SPARKLEPUFF, SPARKLEPUFF!
When I saw Claudia losing her leg, I gasped and then I felt like laughing because after two years and a month of bringing her dad back to life, Viren wanted to die and she didn’t free Aaravos, so she lost her leg for nothing! She healed Soren from paralysis, she brought her dad back from the dead, there’s surely some dark magic for loss limbs. I want season 6 now to see Claudia’s arc after this. There’s so many different ways you could do with her with this losses. Same with Terry, though. He could strongly hate the heroes for doing this to Claudia. I don’t ship them because last season, Terry scolded her about tricking Rayla and now this season about the dragon.
I don’t feel bad for her that she lost her leg since it could be temporary, but I do feel bad that she lost her dad again, unless there’s some sort of loophole with the resurrection. I’ve been wanting Claudia to get what was coming to her.
Poor Viren but I loved his scenes! He (probably) died alone. When the blood of child wasn’t for Claudia and Soren, I thought of Callum, that’s how desperate I was to find out who Callum’s father is. But nope it was Sir Sparklepuff!
I'm Glad It's Not Callum And Incredibly Shocked It's Sir Sparklepuff That's Both Viren And Aaravos' Child. 😮🌟🦋
I was so shocked, too, Katelyn! I didn't expect Claudia to lose her leg. Do you think the dark magic she'll need to use to give her a "new leg" might actually hurt her?
Ohh, you think Viren dies in that moment at the end?!
@@hannahburke7328 I couldn't believe that their child is The Being! I almost forgot Viren had to give some of his blood in that original spell to link both him and Aaravos earlier in the series. 😆
@@ReelJames Imagine Soren And Claudia's Reaction To Realizing Sir Sparklepuff Is Their Half Brother. 😱😱
@@ReelJames I don’t know for sure about Viren! I hope not! Maybe dark magic to give her a “new leg” would make Claudia’s hair all white, since half of it is white right now.
Primal stones contain a physical piece of their arcanum and start ouch elf’s are literally stars. It’s honestly such genius writing that aravos’ prison would be a primal stone 🤯

I find it funny how Viren stared off for 2/3 of this season and I still found his story one of the most interesting this season.
I couldn't believe that Sir Sparklepuff is Viren's child, too that means Sir Sparklepuff is Claudia and Soren's half sibling.
😂 Their family tree keeps getting weirder and weirder!

Ngl, even though it was a missed potential, I sighed in relief in knowing that Zubeia is being healed thanks to the mushroom mage. I know some people think it might be temporary or something, but his healing abilities might be important as the origin of the corruption virus came from Lux Aurea and his healing abilities might play a role in that. Also, if you look closely when Zubeia is being healed, both her wound and sore eyes are glowing green, meaning that she is being cured.
Yess! I was thinking about the same thing. This has the potential to mean a lot to Lux Aurea and Jenai’s rule as Queen. Cannot wait, love the twisted feeling they added to the sun fire elves through these creatures and the corruption. Season 4 really didn’t do any justice to this incredibly deep backstory.
@@user-gr4cf4xy8q Also, I believe that Sol Regem would be involved. I think what’ll happen is that both Archdragons are gonna get healed at the same time. And as Zubeia, along with Mukho, heads to find Team Zym, but would later find out that they are no longer at the same area. They head to Janai and Amaya in case if they’re there, but still haven’t seen them. This is where it’s likely possible that Amaya would remember that Zubeia got bit and infected which would lead them to realize that Mukho’s magic can heal the corruption. This revelation would surprise Janai as they can use Mukho’s magic to reclaim Luz Aurea. However, that’s where Karim and Sol Regem would arrive to both overthrow Janai and Zubeia. Zubeia, likely due to Mukho’s advice to her, apologizes to Team Zym to hold on for a little longer while she deals with Sol Regem. Janai would likely tell Amaya to take Mukho to Luz Aurea along with soldiers to help him heal the sun forge. Both share one last kiss before departure. During the fight, Sol Regem would likely throw some hard blows on Zubeia, where he would reveal that after he’s done with her, he’ll kill Zym when finding him to make sure no one gets the title of King of Dragons. This angers Zubeia, where she would likely go all-Thor on Sol Regem.
They better not tell Callum where they’ll hide the ball-thing. I have a feeling next season will be rough on Callum and Aaravos is definitely taking advantage of that
I think you might be right! Did you see my interview with Aaron Ehasz, where he talks about dark magic and its use in the series?
Yes! And it was a very good interview. Can’t wait to see what season “stars” brings
Ok, Even if Rayla didn't mean to cut Claudia's leg off, She had it coming at this point. She goes from all nice and caring to threatening to kill in seconds. Also, You think if Karim would take the time to notice the corruption on his 'priest' He would realize he's being used. And I honestly don't mind the lack of Aaravous because the few moments he do have they just keep upping the Evil/Sick reasons on why he was locked up.
Can we take a moment and talk about the Jailer?
That woman was insanally cuning and powerfull! Look at what she did!
She was granted the task of building Aaravos prison by the archdragons - not forgeting she is human and both sides are not on good terms.
She knew the Orphan Queen! Wich means she had high contacts with royalty and other importante people as well for sure. Note to Zubeia's exolanation in s04 when we see the Jailer, the Orphan Queen and a younger Akiyu apear.
She was able to get the trust of an elve archmage - Akiyu. Again, elves and humans are not in good terms and yet she was granted trust. And she fond a huge aly at Akiyu as we saw so well here at s05!
Then we have the puzzle! Avizandum had a mirror to keep watch at Aaravos. Rex Igneous had a non detailed map carved in his teeth and no info of where the place was. Domina Profoundis knew what it was the prison, but not what was made of or it's more precise location.
Non of the dragons acttually could have had Aaravos full secreat ou and none of them knows HOWto get him out of that prison.
Then there is the prison. First, the Jailer was compasion enpught to give him confort at it. Second, she made it in a pearl form, hid it in a camuflaged clamp in the midle of an seas depths!!!!
THE WOMAN IS A FREAKING GENIOUS! CUNNING TO AN UNREAL EXTENT!
I wish we can see more of her! And a back story about her journey with the Orphan Queen to uncover Aaravos and get his traped!
🤞 Fingers Crossed For Next Season. 🤞
You dont understand how much i laughed while aaravos talked about his child with viren. I have to say Aaravos sure does have a sense of humour. 😂
I was getting so worried for Zubeia good thing, her mate avizandum encourage her to find help and her strength and to do it for their son Zym and the mushroom mage is healing her good to see that she’s in good hands or claws can wait for season 6
I gotta say, I kinda love that Aaravos pretty much appeared to have planned for the whole sacrifice angle, knowing that Virren would most definitely choose his children lives over his own.
The “Mushroom Mage” from the end of the episode really reminds me of Tom Bombadil from the Lord of the Rings books. The attitude of what we saw of him seemed familiar lol
With a spoonful of Radagast the Brown.
@@tylerfish2701 that’s also true 😂
9/10.Very good episode, probably my second favorite episode of this season, right behind episode eight. For a second when Aaravos said "your other child", i thought he might mean Callum. Aaravos flirting with Viren was very entertaining😂
This episode was full of surprises. The whole Aaravos and Viren have a kid thing really weirded me out, but I realized that it didn't really mean that. Aaravos created the being, but Viren practically raised it. It was made to be a sacrifice. My question is because Viren doesn't want to kill it, will someone else have to? Or will someone else have to be a sacrifice now? Great reaction by the way 😊
It really was full of twists and turns, Rebekah! Yeah, I don't think he *literally* means they made a baby together, but that instead, it's their figurative child because Viren had to give some of his blood to finish that spell earlier in the series to link both him and Aaravos. 😯
I have a feeling that Claudia will kill The Being if she finds out it'll save her papa. What did you think of Claudia this season?!
And thank you, as always, for tuning in!
@@ReelJames Some part of me felt bad for Claudia, but this new turn of events may be a better motivation for the next season. Do you think we may get the new season the beginning of next year?
@@RebekahSmithChildofGod7My Estimated Guess Is That Season 6 Might Be Out By April 2024.
@@ReelJames Some of Viren's blood some of Aaravos' blood. Therefore their child
@@RebekahSmithChildofGod7 if I had to guess, I think we’ll get Season 6 by this time next year. 👀

I STILL WANT TO WATCH TDP

And again...
And again....
That fight with Claudia were great scenes. I LOVE THAT RAYLA CAME IN THE *WATER* TO HELP THEM.
I wasn't expecting Aaaravos' prison to be a pearl. I wonder how the prison works. How does he get released from that? THEY BETTER NOT FREE HIM BY *ACCIDENT*
Also i wonder what Aaravos means that he swallowed Queen Aditi. This guy is crazy. I can only imagine what horrible thing he actually did. Did he swallow her soul (as I've seen people say), does he have some other form in which he could *literally swallow her whole* . I CAN'T WAIT to find out what actually happened to Queen Aditi, that better be explained. And they BETTER FOCUS A WHOLE LOT MORE ON AARAVOS NEXT SEASON. We have been deprived.
Also who's this mushroom man? I wonder what role he'll play, he better not be some random character we get *no proper explanation* of. He gives me Rafiki vibes 😆
So I might be right that a fallen startouch elf is an black hole. He did swallow the grandmother queen. Also I think the writer’s can add an extra season so that we can dive into the mystery of Aaravos because we still don’t know why he did all of this.
This is a great theory, honestly! I wonder if Aaravos is saying that he swallowed Queen Aditi as a figure of speech or if The LITERALLY means he swallowed her. 😂
There *is* one more season left in this saga, The Mystery of Aaravos, so I can imagine a scenario where Season 6, Episode 1 is an episode dedicated to Aaravos and his backstory.
@@ReelJamesi thin he swallowed her soul
@@ReelJames I think he literally swallowed her that makes the most sense
it would mean that he swallows souls so he can be stronger and learn the magics that the user had😮 that would be a brutal twist.
and it would solve the lot of text about aravos in the libary because it shows aaallll the magics he knows
@@ghostscyther8667 or she's just really short
I actually can't believe that Callum,Rayla,Ezran, and Soren won at the end I thought Claudia,Terry, and Viren won and successfully released Aaravos from his prison, even though Callum might be the one to release Aaravos if he controls him or manipulates him into letting him go.
I have a feeling he’ll be released next season and then the final season will be them battling him. Also since next season is likely Book 6 Star, I bet we get a lot of Aaravos and startouch elf lore
Me: No! Zubeia don't die!!! You're one of my favorite characters!!! *Cries*
I don't think viren is actually going to stay dead, not when he died like that!
I think...he is revealed to be alive in Season 6 but uses his extra life to stop Claudia -- but he won't be able to stop Aaravos!
I hope that Book 6 would reveal who the Archdragon of the Moon is, find out why they’re unsuitable, and are likely to team up with Claudia in order to have an advantage against Team Zym since they got Zubeia. It would be cool to see the Archdragon of the Moon trying to “take what was theirs” which is the title of King/Queen of Dragons.
@@three-dimensionalglitch2869 i think Aaravos is the arch dragon of the moon
@@juliettelasserre6676 I don’t think so since Luna was with the Archdragon at the same time as Aaravos.
The pentapus is an Easter egg from the avatar. You see the side-by-side side comparison of the two in the credits. And I kinda want to say that the mushroom mage might be referencing Tom bombadil from LotR.
I too had the impression that this mushroom magician was a kind of Tim Bombadil.
But I think it's also a bit Radagast, don't you think?
Actually, for those curious on what'll happen in Book 6, here's a list of what's confirmed according to Aaron Ehasz;
1.) Viren doesn't die, obviously.
2.) Team Zym goes to the Skyscraper to get the weapon to kill Aaravos (but likely by ship considering the state Zubeia is in).
3.) Karim and his army fights against Janai.
4.) Callum either gets possessed again, or his use of dark magic has consequences in other ways.
5.) We’ll learn more about The Merciful One and Leola.
6.) It’ll be revealed that the items Stella has been collecting have some purpose.
7.) We’ll learn more about Callum’s father.
8.) Pyrrah will return in Book 6 and 7.
Although not confirmed, I feel like what'll happen with the Mushroom Mage and Zubeia is that she IS being healed from her infection, but that'll likely mean that she's out of action in the next book as it'll take time, meaning that Team Zym is on their own. The Mushroom Mage will likely offer some helpful advice to Zubeia as she's still grieving for Avizandum and would likely help her move on from him and focus on Zym. The Mushroom Mage will likely be aware of Aaravos's release but admits to Zubeia that it's inevitable either way. So he's healing her so she can be fully prepared for the battle.
😯✨
I'm Most Looking Forward To 2, 5, 6 And 7 Happening. 🤞🤞
I believe that Aaravos is going to possess Callum into releasing him from prison. And I believe that he may continue possessing Callum even after he has been released which is why Aaravos said Callum was destined to play right into his hands. And why Callum said to kill him if he was ever possessed again.
I actually feel awful about what happened to Claudia! 😢 None of that would have happened to her if she just listened to Soren and his friends.
12:59 Claudia will never forget this lesson.
I must say, that this is the best season, but has a one BIG PROBLEM, only 9 episodes
So we know that callum has basically access to the prison and we know that aaravos can possess callum and we know that callum has the key of Aaravos....so is just me who think that maybe next season...you know 👀
And for the people saying that the key of Aaravos isn't actually the key of Aaravos prison becs it existed before his prison.....yes it did but what if before the prison it wasn't called "the key of aaravos"
it probably had an another name and it was made his key to show/symbol how he was beaten? Or that He was imprisoned by his own weapons(whatever the cube is for)
Honestly with the prison with Team Zym, I am really concerned for Callum. Here is my theory for season 6 and how this relates.
I think Aaravos will completely abandon the Claudia and the gang. Viren's refusal to kill the being will more than likely lead to his death by the beginning of season 6 (or maybe he somehow lives but to me seems unlikely )but with Viren not cooperating and Claudia losing, I think Aaravos will no longer see use for them, tell them that directly and say that he has other means to get what he wants. The other means you may ask. One, the whole Sol Regem and that situation. Aaravos wants revenge against Zubeia/everyone for imprisoning him. What a better way then to cause chaos and have Sol Regem try and become King of the Dragons again and fight against Zubeia. Zubeia might still not be in a good state in season 6 so it could definitely be tough to go against Sol Regem. The high priest had something star like on his neck, as seen in episode 5 of the season I believe and covers it up with a scarf. This was because he was bitten by the Aaravos caterpillar in season 3 and gets taken over by Aaravos! So the high priest could still be under Aaravos' influence whether he is 100% aware of it or not. Two, from another theory I saw, he also wants revenge on the star touched elves for casting him out, which may include killing them. What do we now know that might be able to kill those elves. The Nova Blade which is located at the sky scraper. But still stuck in the prison, how could he retrieve this item and escape so he can use it? Callum! We got warnings from the crew that we should be worried about Callum and this is why. I don't think Aaravos will possess Callum straight away, I think Aaravos will manipulate him in some way. From the news at SDCC it seems like we will see the scraper in season 6 due to the celestial skywing elf we saw. I think Aaravos will initially haunt Callum. Be in his dreams, temp him towards dark magic and Callum probably will hide this from the gang. Due to this, when they go to the sky scraper for these diamonds to help Rayla's loved ones, Callum will also find a way to retrieve the Nova blade. When they return to try and free Rayla's loved ones from the coins, I bet it doesn't work. Callum would be especially annoyed and Aaravos again haunts him and offers him a way to free Rayla's loved ones from the coins. The answer will be dark magic. Dark magic put them there, it may be the only way to free them. For Rayla, Callum will do whatever dark spell, which further corrupts him and sets Rayla's loved ones free. This would allow Aaravos more control over Callum. If Aaravos or Callum made some sort of deal, what Aaravos wants probably isn't something good. But I think this will somehow lead Callum to learn the other primal sources (idk if they could fit that but I can dream). I think Callum learning the other primal sources is the "key" to freeing Aaravos. I think the Jailer turned the cube into a literal key for the prison which can only activate if all primal sources are active at the same time. I think when they all initially trapped Aaravos, Aaravos himself (as he has mastered all primal sources) activated the key which got him trapped in the first place in the prison. To escape, he needs someone from the outside to do the same thing. Who better than Callum. Callum could activate the key, either switching places with Aaravos, or Aaravos just escapes and then possesses Callum. This definitely would not be good for the gang
Sorry this was way more than I was expecting, but thanks for reading if you got this fair :)
Also with Aaravos going against Claudia, I think this will lead Claudia to either
1. Complete resentment and her journey towards a main villain by season 7
2. Actually reflect on her actions and the cost of what see has done and might actually join the gang by the end of season 6.
Ok thanks, bye!
You need way more recognition for writing so much! Ur second theory is similar to mine aswell:D I would LOVE to see Callum being hunted and then possessed again. It is the perfect emotional damage!
I'm just really nervous for Callum, since he just used dark magic again and Aaravos was able to possess him through the mirror, what would stop him from possessing Callum again when he's in close proximity to the prison?
Also Karim doesn't have what it takes to be a king, but a tyrant because he's selfish enough to kill his own family and sacrifice his people's future for the sake of a lost past.
If they can use the power of the Mushroom Mages to cure the infected they might be able to reclaim Lux Auria.
maybe the star arcanum is like a secret cheat code to be able to se all the magic
I did not expect season 5 to end like this! I am so excited to see what's to come in season 6! :DDDD
Right?! This was an unexpected season finale, but I loved it!
Where does this episode rank for you this season?!
@@ReelJames Hmmm... I think this episode is my 3rd favorite in Season 5(My first being the second to last episode, and my 2nd being episode 4)
for context on the aaravos swallowing thing... in season 3 in the finale when viren and aaravos are absorbing the life from zym at the top of the storm spire, the dark magic spell aaravos was chanting was he swallows your ___, he swallows your ___ ... the blanks are bc i dont remember what exactly each thing was but it was like mine body and soul or something. look up all dark magic spells translated from each season to get a MUCH better understanding of what i goin on in some scenes. it would help your theory crafting a lot.
This was exactly my first thought when Aaravos said he "swallowed" Aditi! I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed. I think it was something to the effect of, "He swallows your mind. He swallows your heart. He swallows your power..."
When my best friend and I found out Verien and Aaravous had a child she said, "Suprise! Thier Daddy's!, I almost choked on my laugh, I was so surprised they went that route, the creators really listened to the shipping in the fandom lmaoo

My Theory on The Dragon Prince Season 6: Stars
Team Zym will take Aaravos' Prison Pearl to Sunfire Queen Janai for protection. At the same time, Aaravos tells Claudia Viren is dead and use his death to solidify her vengeance against Team Zym and their allies. With Claudia firmly at his side, he will instruct her to meet Kim'dael, Aaravos' loyal assassin. Aaravos had her assassinate Luna Tenebris and later sent her to kill Aditi until her imprisonment via the neck collar Aditi tricked her into wearing. Because of the incident, Aaravos personally killed Aditi by swallowing her soul. Meanwhile, Karim and his followers heal Sol Regem and start an invasion to usurp Janai. However, Aaravos escapes his prison with Claudia and Kim'dael's help leading to an eventual duel between Aaravos and Sol Regem. Aaravos wins and plans to head to the Starscraper to retrieve the Nova Blade and the Corona of the Heavens' crown: two artifacts he needs to invade and destroy the Startouch Elves. At the Sea of the Outcast, there were statues of a possible Startouch Elf Queen giving a depressed Aaravos her hand. Her relationship with Aaravos is unclear: sister? lover? friend? It is unclear, but we might see her in Season 6: Stars of the Dragon Prince. Regarding Sir Sparklepuff, I think Aaravos genuinely wants to save Viren as he looked very shocked when Viren refused to sacrifice Sir Sparklepuff for his life. This may indicate that Aaravos is grateful to anyone who helps him even though they are his chess pawns.
Nice theory. I also had this theory that Aaravos could have Claudia seek out “the unsuitable heir”, which is the Archdragon of the Moon. While it wasn’t explained why they were unsuitable, it could be for many reasons, possibly involving Aaravos. But I could see Claudia getting an Archdragon on her side considering how Team Zym has one (I know Zubeia is in a bad state, but considering how the Mushroom Mage is healing her, she’s gonna be ok) and it would be good timing to not only see her and Sol Regem duel in Karim’s war against Janai, but also when Claudia arrives to get the prison, the unsuitable heir duels them both and possibly beats them to claim the title that was supposed to be theirs. Sol Regem would likely get infected if the shadow monsters appear and we would get to see him as a “Mad King” and try and take on Aaravos.
The being is kinda their child they both used their blood but I found the interaction funny how Aaravos was like he has my eye I’m guessing the voice is part of your family
Also I find it a bit weird that the pearl is Aaravos’s prison
Yassss! New episode here
I love this episode becs it was unexpected and it open the door to so many possibilities
Btw just imagine Claudia singing poor unfortunat sool to callum and Ezran😂😂😂😂
And her making a trade to them that she will bring their father back to life if they help her Free aaravos
Thank you for tuning in all season long! 🙏
Yeah, this episode really creates a world of new possibilities for Season 6.
😂I'm glad you enjoyed the Ursula comment, too!
Do you think Viren ends up living next season?!
@@ReelJames ty for responding😊
This season was great
Rn it's a debate for me if it's my personal fav season or 2nd
I think viren is death btw
I can't stop thinking about the lost and found posters I mean, team callum hasn't lost anything and team Claudia hasn't found anything, actually it's the opposite
In team Claudia, Claudia lost her leg and probably she is losing her mind, viren kinda lost his will to live and dark magic and also his life and I feel like Terry lost his fascination for dark magic and is very worried
While team callum
Callum found a new arcane I guess.....
Rayna found runnan arc
Ezran found...
Yea I am still thinking about team callum but you got the point
Nice observations, Nicolas! I do like your theories. I wonder if we go one step further. Team Callum "lost" their sense of fear when it comes to Aaravos, and Team Claudia "found" that it's going to cost them possibly their lives to free Aaravos.
@@ReelJames Wow! It's interesting when you put it that way. Ty for telling me your thoughts!
I burst out laughing at claudias leg being sliced off i felt bad but still
I was SHOCKED
9:51 that frame of rayla, oh my god they are INSANEEEE
Theory for next season....we're definitely going to the skyscraper for nova blade and the soul stick thing. Go meet Astrid who's probably a celestial skywing elf. However I'm curious how team claudia fights back. IM scared.
I think we're *definitely* going to see Team Callum go to the skyscraper!
Where does this episode rank for you this season?!
youre reaction to virens other child was HILARIOUS
the best EVER
🤣 Thank you! I was shocked, tbh. What did you think of the season finale?!
I was shocked it left a lot of gateways and at the same time none at all. I loved it soon much
That beginning with Zubeia and Avizandum.....
✋️😣👌 so good.
9:50 Claudia Definitely Now Has A Vendetta Against Rayla. 😱
I have a lot of FEELINGS about this finale, for one there were a lot of twists and I was on edge the entire time. But there were some questionable choices. For one, I’m really shocked that Aaravos was not freed this season and it narratively would have made sense. Now that Virens dead, Claudia no longer has any motivation to free him. Unless they resurrect him again which would be hilarious. I feel like Callum might release him maybe because he’s starting to go on a dark path or maybe the gang want to kill Aaravos so he won’t be a threat so they get the Nova blade, release him, and then kill him which will of course go wrong. Also I’m genuinely surprised Aaravos was going to save Viren and apparently they have a child! That’s crazy. Finally Karim is actually a threat and he now has an army, which is really cool but now I feel like the sun fire elf plot last season is made pointless as in the end they all just betray Janai. Overall it was a solid finale in my opinion.
Those are fair critiques! I actually didn't mind that Aaravos wasn't freed because I know next season is the final season in this saga, The Mystery of Aaravos. However...I was hoping for more screen time with Aaravos.
The Sunfire elves subplot *actually* worked better for me this season compared to Season 4!
Where does this episode rank for you?
@@ReelJames I would give the finale a 7/10 overall but it could go higher if season 6 is really good
Part of me feels like the whole thirty days to live thing was a lie from Aaravos to scare Viren into loyalty, and he’ll just wake up the next morning perfectly fine like 🤨 and then realize he no longer has any reason to follow Aaravos
@@powderhound_art456 that could be possible since it would be weird for them to bring back Viren in season four just to kill him off without Aaravos being free, however if you look at the end credit concept art the last one is Viren dead so idk.
I’m pretty sure if Claudia can turn her legs into tentative and a snake naga the season before I’m pretty sure she can get her leg back next season
6:49 No Claudia, That's The Face Of Realizing What A Monster You've Become. 😡🐙
Right!
This season made my brain explode,so far this is my favourite season!
(theory made by sorvus) that Claudia was doomed to fail and its give a key point that Aaravos has won because Callum has the KEY to Aaravos and now he has the most direct connection to Callum because of the prison and its obvious Aaravos really didnt care about Claudia so shes not the real pawn but its Callum
I imagine Zubeia’s healing is only temporary, or the mushroom dude has some kind of ulterior motives, because if she’s just totally better with no strings attached, it feels like a waste of a perfectly good plot line
That's what I'm thinking. I hope it turns out to be more complicated than it seems. If there are no lasting consequences, that seems like a copout and a waste of potential.
Yeah. If Zubeia healed completely then that's too convenient and make it seem like a lazy writing.
But I gotta say that the conversation between her and her dead husband is very touching and bitter sweet.
The pearl at the end of the episode is the prison itself. So the prison is probably inside of the pearl (somehow).
I found this in the wiki.
Same. I Was Surprised To Find Out. 😮
Why is no one talking about how the Mushroom Mage 11:48 is a reference to Shrek's Do You Know the Muffin Man? 😂
Oh, that’s for sure what popped into my head 😂
That one theory from like 3 years ago about callum being aaravos's son suddenly popped into my head when he said "our child" 😂
Honestly, when Aaravos said he and Viren had a child together, I thought for sure it would be Callum…I was too stupid to realise that Callum was born wayyyy before Viren met Aaravos through the mirror. When he said it was Sir Sparklepuff, I literally jumped out of my seat!!!
10/10 THE MUSHROOM WAY
L O L 💀
Where does this episode rank for you this season?!
someone had a theory that viren is unlocking the star arcanum 👀 hence the stars in his eyes at the end too
me and my friends frickin love the mushroom mage, now when I hear the muffin man it sounds incorrect Lol
🤣 That's great!
Where does this episode rank for you this season?!
I was in complete shock I didn’t expect our hero’s to get the pearl first in fact I was expecting that Aarvaos to make his appearance as return, but at same time you also have that other faction of Karim is building his rebellion army I have a feeling he will play a role in next season and base on what I seen from an article from what was mention at San Diego comic con next two season will be an empire strike back story line oooh man this was such a surprising and twist season. I look forward to hearing updates videos from u if u find and learn any info to the next two last season. (Also I heard there’s a dragon prince movie in development from what I saw on Twitter call the orphan queen which she was mention in season 4)
YAYYYY hiii! omg, i had to hold back on watching these reactions up until today (because i hadn't watched season 5 yet, becauseeeee i was waiting for my friend so we could watch together) but i finally watched it and omgggggg!!!
🙏 I'm so glad you're able to watch my reactions now that you're done with S5!
Where does this episode rank for you this season?!
@@ReelJames that’s such a hard question but I rekon its probably my favourite alongside season 3
as much as i love the dragang, i gotta admit as soon as i saw claudia wash up on the shore with a missing leg, i gasped, fell backwards on my chair, spilled a series of silent cusses, and then remembered that tdp is rated "TV - Y7"
I'm a teenager and that still shocked the heck out of me, but I am here to say that I felt it was practically the saddest scene I had watched in tdp overall, bc i just thought that Claudia was doing so much just to keep her father alive and she had to go through that loss of a parental figure FOR A THIRD TIME, meanwhile as soon as Rayla cuts off the leg, ralya, callum, and ezran be hugging it out lmao. But then again i love drinking the tears of my favorite characters in my coffee so can't wait for whatever angst arc is planned for both her AND Terry in season 6 because Terry is just such a blessing and he deserves his own centered episode
I was kinda sad for claudia and viren that they could'nt even say bye beacuse he was in his like stare phase
This season was really good, I’m glad we were able to find out about Queen Aditi, idk if I spelled it correctly. I really loved it tho. I really wanna find out what will happen with Viren like will he proceed with the blood of the child or die?! I feel bad for claudia she did so much to save her family but she might lose it all. she is too far gone so I don’t expect a redemption for her. This season was really good.
I’m dying to see season 6 after this finale. But then again, everyone at TDP is saying that it will break us..
I have no clue how claudia is going to react to having lost a leg. Probably not well. And is Viren actually dead?
Now that the dragang has the prison of Aaravos, aka the orb, I feel like they’re going to have a lot coming for them. But I also have a feeling that we will get a lot more of the coins next season, and some well needed “big feelings time”.
Loved all of your reactions, and can’t wait for your episode rankings, reviews, theories, and more! ❤
We might find out a little bit more about Season 6 in the coming days... 🤫
I think Viren won't be dead right away in Season 6, but I think his time is coming by the end of next season.
Thank you so much for tuning in all week long! More Dragon Prince content on the way, too! 🙌
Where does this episode rank for you this season, btw?!
@@ReelJames I’d be downright shocked if we got, other than the QnA info with Ehasz, information about season 6. I would love to get a release date though! My guess is anywhere between early February to late March. But I wouldn’t complain if we got it sooner. 😂
My episode ranking is probably episode 8, 4, 2, 7, 9, 1, 6, 5, 3. This list was definitely not easy to make, I really loved this whole season. I don’t think I ever ranked an episode lower than 7/10. Really, an outstanding season! 🌊
9:35 Ezran's Animal Connections Work Wonders! 😆🐟🌊
By the way, the orb is aaravos' prison im pretty sure.
8:21 I'm Not.
Viren Now Realizes At The Last Minute He Was A Horrible Parent To Both Kids And Wants To Die For His Past Actions.
The mushroom mage
Like The Muffin Man Song! 🍄😊

10:30 Team Claudia May Have Gotten The Map But Team Callum Got Aaravos' Prison In The Pearl! 🌊😆
I loved this episode☺️☺️☺️👍👍
The orb is the prison btw it wasn’t to clear abt it but it’s not a spoiler
I'm counting down until season 6... and I think we could all agree that Bait is the most important character in any of the 5 seasons, like the intro makes me laugh all the time.😆
Love your videos ❤❤
🙏 Thank you so much! Where does this episode rank for you this season?!
Funfact, purple pentapus is an ATLA reference:D
If I knew this was my last night alive, I’d go tell my daughter everything and tell her to stay away from it. Not hide in the woods and cry myself to sleep 🤦🏼♀️
Was it only me who thought aaravos was saying that callum was virens kid
😂I 100% thought they were going that route at first! I'm glad they didn't, though. But it would've been nuts!
Where does this episode rank for you this season?!
@@ReelJames I'd put it at No.2 just in behind Finnegrin's Wake
Im very curius to know about this "Special video"!!
I have a feeling that the special surprise is that our questions will be answered by Aaron Ehaz ( sorry if I spelled the name wrong ).. That would be soooo cool!!!
I can’t wait for season 6!, but will it be delayed because of the writers strike?
2:09 It Is. In A Way Zubeia Needed This.
I can’t wait for sol regem to get his vision healed
Can you also include your thoughts about callum doing dark magic? You didn’t mention it last episode
Love Tom Bombadil Radaghast 🤣 where did he come from? Was he an Earthblood elf or a human mage?
James really got the best reactions can't wait for season 6 but I thought callum was gonna be the blood of child but then also I don't think Sarai would have a child with viren 🤣like bruh who knew they had a secret love child mean Aaravos was tired of paying child support that why he told him
The pearl is the prision, if I'm not wrong.
3:10 Yes! Exactly! Took Em Long To Realize The Prison Is Underwater And Not On A "Brown Island."
