This episode was amazing The scene with the blood moon hunter/assassin were amazing and wild We see her killing people and also one of the guards said she bitet his/her neck. Pretty dark My fav scene was when callum took the other ship wind away...idk why but I just love it so much!❤ I find it so interesting and I like it It shows how powerful callum is Out of all the spells callum did that spell it is for sure one of my favorite for some reason The ending of this episode really scared me,lol Anyway I can't wait to see you react to episode 8!

I've watched the dragon prince season 5 so many times since it launched I was so excited for both 4 and 5 cause I went on Netflix qnd I was like there's a season 4?!
The episode in a nutshell: Baitlings all get names throughout episode As the baitlings were stolen, finnegrin is pissed n goes after the dragang "Hat" almost drowns but gets saved by Soren Kim'Dael solo squads entire platoon of sunfire and human soldiers Janai almost defeats Kim'Dael but gets distracted by some npc Finnegrin catches up with the dragang with the help of his literal crab ship n captures them Also implies that he wants callum to do something for him 🤔
Kim'daels scenes felt like a huge breath of fresh air, to be honest. I'm not saying that they're not appropriate for kids but they did feel a lot edgier then anything else in the season but in a non-cringey way that actually didnt create tonal whiplash
THE BAITLINGS ARE SO CUTEEE I want one too 😍 I agree the sunfire elf subplot is A LOT BETTER this season than it was in season 4. It makes more sense and i actually care about it now. Especially with the addition of the bloodmoon huntress, that was so cool! All her scenes were interesting to watch, especially visually. Also I think they handled Soren better this season than they did in season 4, he's actually just funny by being himself and it doesn't feel forced and awkward like it was at times in season 4. Also having watched all the episodes already- I'll just say strap yourself in and be prepared for whats to come (may or may not involve sadness 😢)
Oh man I’m a whole 35 minutes late.. slept in this morning.. This episode is great, but it’s NOTHING compared to episode 8. The one thing that I adored this episode was the scene where Callum takes ALL the air from around Finnegrins ship. That spell was amazing, and I wasn’t surprised with how long it took Callum to recover. And I mean.. I won’t complain about more Rayllum.. Can’t wait for the next reaction..
I saw that Terry’s VA, Devon, and someone else said we aren’t ready for the future seasons. Harmegedon has only just begun. Also, episode 8 of this season apparently still has kid gloves. What I’m getting from that is Prepare for Pain which could explain the higher rating.
I thought this episode did a really good job building tension and slowly revealing just how dangerous Finnegrin is. Episode 8 gets pretty dark and made me hate him with a passion. I would argue that he's probably meanest and cruelest antagonist our heroes have directly faced. I agree that I also liked the Sunfire Elf plot in this season better than the last. IMO it's more emotionally satisfying in buildup and payoff. That scene where Amaya returns and finds out Janai has been taken just hits me like a ton of bricks.

Bait and Switch thoughts: when I saw the boat with the man, I immediately thought of Charon of the River Styx due to my nerdy mind. The man’s design is what I pictured Charon to look like. That episode reminded me how young Ezran is, but yeah I wanted to shake him. Sea Legs thoughts: You’re not ready for the next episode. I was so stressed, but Soren did something and I can’t wait to see your reaction. Is episode 8 & 9 going to be in one video?
Karim has become such a detestable and despicable arrogant fool. His hypocrisy is beyond me. He despises dark magic and humans but unleashes one of the most atrocious and ruthless criminals, The Bloodmoon Huntress, in all of Xadia just to take revenge against his sister is beyond despicable. The Bloodmoon Huntress Kim'dael is an awesome villian. I wanna see a face off with Kim'dael and Rayla since they obviously have a strong history with each other. Imagine it could be her finlghting She possibly could be officially be Rayla's first kill, permanently. Really liked this episode. I can't wait to see how S6 will be. I know it's about to be wild.
Woah Kim'dael she is like a ninja who drinks blood but what kind of blood is it dragons blood, human, or elf I dont know. Still she is going to be trouble. However I am not sure if we could trust Kirims girlfriend as for the sea legs ship being a huge hermit crab I did not expect that it dose not need wind at all it can just walk.
This episode was a very fun watch NYX RETURNED!!….why hasn’t she changed clothes in 2 years?….. AND VILLADS RETURNED!!….seriously guys why won’t u change?… Kim dael was actually INSANE. She just ruthlessly murdered all of those sunfire elves like it was NOTHING. Pretty insane but I still like her character and how unhinged she was. BUT JANAI!! WHEN SHE GOT TAKEN I WAS ACTUALLY SO SCARED FOR HER. I was like “first they wanna kill Amaya, and now Janai too?!” Also for some reason this season has something against glow toads because WHY DO THEY KEEP ALMOST DYING?! IK I SAY THIS IN ALL MY COMMENTS BUT ❓❓ I always love Callum watching using his magic he’s so cool. Also his little small showdown to prove to Nyx he was a mage was so silly I loved it. But ohhh man they are in for it with finnegrin… Now karim…You already know what I’m boutta say.. I HATE KARIM. BOOOO KARIMMM I’m assuming it’s a lot more clear as to why I hate him so much now though 😂 Overall this episode was a rlly nice setup to the next (AND BEST) episode of the season 7.8/10 👍👍
